I mostly run a backhoe. I adopted this sloping technique from this very video a couple years ago. It has helped me immensely. The thing about operating is that in my particular situation, I’m usually the only operator on the job, so getting tips like these are few and far between. Thank you! My slopes look far better now than a few years ago. It takes practice to do what you’re showing here, but well worth the time spent practicing to get it into muscle memory.
Yup, I run my own machine in the summer and in the winter I’m a dirt foreman on the pipeline. Got a bunch of videos I never got around to posting, and plan on making some more. And you, staying busy?
@@efficientexcavations Hey man, I’ve been following you since the beginning. Your tips helped me out as a beginner. Don’t want to get too into your business but noticed you work for challand and they are shutting down. Still staying busy? Just wondering. Thanks
Been following for years great content and advice. Greetings from D.O.D underground operator in CA. This guy is the real deal. Everyone is operator till it comes time operate.
I mention in the video that it’s the first spot with any frost on the job. Guys must’ve been driving on ditch line cutting that corner when stringing, then got the bend in place when they welded mainline. Said I’d chop but I was still getting full scoops, was getting out of it at the end. If it was that hard the whole job, we would’ve had ripper cats rip. Usually only use a ripper on a hoe doing facility work when everyone and their dog drives all over ditch line Lol. Thanks for watching 🤘🏼
Hey bud, good stuff. Are you using a mount with your smart phone or a gopro?...I was thinking myself of making a channel such as yourself. Once again great work...
I have operated a Trackhoe since 1982, this guy is the best operator i have ever seen, worked in the UK and Canada
Wow, thanks for the compliment! 🍻
