I've always wanted to see a storyline from the perspective of the GCPD and knowing there's one out there but it's also really good, makes having to stay home that much better

Owned the digital collections for the longest time but hadn't read them. This video and the New Reader/Old Reader motivated me to start and I just read the first collection in a single sitting. Thanks for the recommendation.

Definitely this is amazing omnibus
I really like the idea Behind series that we got to see Gotham police basically their perspective on things.
To me the series reminded me of Kingdom Come and marvels. Where the police have to deal with the aftermath of some of the Caped Crusaders Joker doing with some of the villain dealing with corruption within the Precinct.
Ed Brubaker and Greg Rucka definitely were a great match of writing this Siri and I think the stairs was kind of a little bit of risk it really did pay off.
Definitely all the artists on this series of all he's been amazing

For any neurotic people that want more space on their shelf, the more recent printing with the newer DC logo uses thinner paper and the overall omnibus is about 2cm narrower in width (and the spine is a bit more concave). I ended up selling my older copy for the newer printing because every bit of space counts on the shelf!

This is SUCH a good video and I absolutely love that you give other places you can go to read after finishing it - that might be one of my favorite things.

One of my favorite series off all time. This is probably the best Big 2 work both Rucka and Brubaker have done, and I love most of their Bog 2 work.

Remender's stories are often great. I don't think that omnibus contains his full run, if it gets re-printed they should fix that. Totally.
Hey Omar, been watching your most wanted DC omnibuses, I came across Road to No Man's Land & Detective Comics by Paul Dini which are listed and scheduled for a fall release. Don't if the listing are up over there in US thought I'd let you know, as one omnibus collector to another. Take care man

Hey Omar great review as always! I've been wanting this for a while so I think it's time i grab a copy. I have a few suggestions for one of these retroviews. The Carnage omnibus, Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender, The Punisher by Remender or The Clone Saga (I think I'm one of the few that enjoyed that story lol).

depends on your reading preference i find omnis too heavy to read comfortably.
You can get the trades unless you like the oversized art and all in one.
I've read the first 15 issues that was reprinted in Titan UK Collectors' Editions titles Batman Arkham #10-26 and Batman Gotham Central #1-7. Unfortunately B: GC was cancelled after the seventh issue. Luckily the omnibus is on Amazon for £54.
It looks like this is getting a new printing? I really enjoyed the 1st and 4th volumes borrowed from the library, only ones available, so an omnibus gives me a chance to read it all in one go.
I really want this! I loved the Gotham tv series. Hopefully it will get a reprint this year.

omar I told you I ordered 8 of the x men milestones. well I researched inferno and found out there were 3 books. the prelude, xmen inferno and xmen the crossover book. well I was able to get the crossover book to go with inferno there were only 2 books left in stock. looking very forward to getting the rest of my orders so I can continue reading past vol 4 of the epic line and the dark Phoenix saga milestone book.very much wanting to read these great stories in order. can't wait for the rest of the epics to go with these!

I think in his Juan Gimenez video he said some videos had to be moved around when he lost his voice. I'm sure he will publish it soon. You know how much our boy loves that era in comics.

Ive been a huge fan of you and your youtube channel since the day I started collecting graphic novels.
I have a favour to ask of you. You know people at DC and other publishing houses.
Will Eisner created The SPIRIT as you know. It has been collected in the SPIRIT Archives series by DC in around 25-26 volumes, most of which are out of print.
My request to you and your team is, if you can contact and request people at DC (or whoever has the rights of The SPIRIT right now) to consider coming out with an OMNIBUS of WILL EISNER THE SPIRIT, just like they come out with the golden age/silver age omni's of Batman,Superman and so on.
I would be eternally grateful if you can somehow manage to make this happen as the newer generations of collectors don't have access to this masterpiece by Will Eisner.

I have the Crisis on Infinite Earths box set and I want the three crisis omnibuses: Crisis in Time, Final Crisis, Infinite Crisis.
I came so close to getting that box set.
@@NearMintCondition I absolutely love mine. Came in perfect condition. Really thinking about getting the Blackest Night box set when it comes out. The Crisis box set is pretty cheap right now. You can get it brand new for $250 which is half its retail price.
Maybe in the future I would love to see an old reader new reader from Ed brubaker's works sleeper, the two volumes of incognito, Iron Fist, Daredevil, maybe even is Captain America

Can you do a spawn overview
The only problem I had with this video is lumping The Shield in with shows like Law and Order. Sure, The Shield may have had a procedural element but holy shit did it know how to play with your emotions. it really is one of the best dramas ever made.
I think my issue with Shield is that it went on a little long. Probably the issue with Sons of Anarchy too. There were some phenemenal moments though, for sure.

I feel like a dick because I bought this one and ended up selling it because the artwork turned me off...it's not bad it just looks like storyboards for a tv show, not interesting looking or dynamic enough for me, same way I feel about Y The Last Man. I'm probably missing out on some good stories.
There is nothing wrong with not liking an artist. I get it. Completely. When I was younger I didn't care for Mike Mignola or Jim Aparo.
@@NearMintCondition I liked both of them, but I used to get roasted for that opinion. I still remember defending X-Force #8 to my classmates as a kid (my first exposure to Mignola and I thought it was different but dope)
