    Handicapper approaching 70 here.
You ride E-assist same as I do (slowly) on my E-assisted Hase brand Lepus (no balance required trike)!
Nothing is more beautiful, than sightseeing on bicycle trails!
Your videos are all scenery and informative, with no egos involved.
    Love watching your videos!
    Thank you!

We biked this trail yesterday and loved it! Biked from the northern end. As a note, there are bathrooms readily available, just not noted on signs. The bathrooms we spotted are at: WRAL Soccer Complex (roughly MP6.5), Horseshoe Farm Park (roughly MP7.75), Buffaloe Road Athletic Park (roughly MP11.5), River Bend Park (roughly MP13.5, where we ate luch on a shady bench). Plenty of bathrooms!

Hi, thanks for the additional information. I agree, there are bathrooms, but you have to know where they are. So your MP's will be helpful to others. Thanks for watching.

We were there last fall and rode the trail the day after a hurricane hit at the end of September. The NC maintenance guys were out clearing all the downed trees and blowing the leaves and branches from the trail. They did a great job. There’s one point on the trail where you pass some soccer fields. If you take the detour to ride by the fields you can access their restrooms. We enjoyed the ride on the trail as well as all of the wooden bridges. 🚴🏼🚴🏼‍♂️

I just put this trail on my must do list in November when I drive down to Florida from CT!! I love your videos, and I have or will be riding all your mentioned trails. If you ever find yourselves in Goshen or Middlebury, IN, you MUST ride the Pumpkinville trail, it is amazing and you will encounter the Amish on their horse and buggies. Such a beautiful ride!

Always a good trail. Also, being so close to the water, keeps the temperatures down in the summer. Been primarily shaded when not high noon helps as well. And never worry about the alligators here. The piranhas eat them all. Lol.

Didn’t notice the piranhas, but i think they are stealthy fish - ha, ha. It was a very shady trail for a hot day.

How do you guys transport your e-bikes? We ordered to2 lectric folded bikes and we are planning to do some bike trail rides like you're doing but we are using our sienna minivan to transport and most likely we will do some of the trails that you have done, just subscribed and keep posting.

We have a Thule e-bike carrier for the back of the car. Not sure how they would work with folding bikes? Thanks for watching. As long as we can ride, we hope to keep posting. It’s great going all over to ride new trails.

There are actually several restaurants off the side of the trail at around mile marker 9.25 or so. Sergio's Pizza, Marco's Pizza, Wendy's, Zaxby's (coming in late September), China Wok (wouldn't recommend), NY Bagels, Sheetz, etc. Check the map. Also, there are actually a few bathrooms with water fountains. One I can remember is around mile marker 10. River Bend Park. Another is in Horseshoe Farm Nature Preserve. Anyway, check Google Maps. The information in the video isn't correct.

Thank you for your comment. If you go back to the start of our video we stated we started in the middle and headed north. So the video is of our experience and what we found on the trail. We usually don’t point out things that require someone to get off the trail that aren’t obvious from the trail. But thanks for sharing for viewers who may want to know.

We rode this trail a while ago so I’m hoping they’ve fixed the bathroom at the northern end. There are bathrooms available near some of the parking areas but not easily noticed when on the trail. If you have the TrailLink app you can see where they are. Might be worth a try? Thanks for watching and taking a minute to comment. Comments and likes help us grow our channel and provide new trail adventures.
