*I have a few videos set up to post the next few weeks, I intended to share this one in November but changed my mind which one went first. So in advance, thank you for watching the next few videos! Felt great recording and getting things sorted. Feeling more myself (be it masked or otherwise). PS, this is the Halloween video from 2013 - cringe tastic! th-cam.com/video/NWPSUjcwIYA/w-d-xo.html I have an IG purely for thrift finds; instagram.com/thriftybeckie Have a good autumn all x
There's so many things to love about Autumn - the changing colours, the cooler temperatures that make me more likely to go outside and walk, pumpkin pie, pumpkin spice lattes, the grass stops growing so no need to mow the lawn...
The best part part of Autumn has to be the most beautiful colours of the leaves on every tree. Its magic to see you in such great form and brilliant to see you branching out and embracing different things which must be very strange for you. Looking forward to your nest slice of life video.
It’s Spring in New Zealand. I have been loving that the weather has improved. Flowers are blooming. Temperatures are rising and the sun is shining. That video was great.
so happy to see you back on youtube :)) i grew up with your videos and they’ve always brought me a lot of joy, it’s so nostalgic to see all the old clips!!
Getting to my 30s i really just decided to wear what i want and not follow fashion trends either (not that i ever really understood them anyway lol), but yeah it's so freeing to just wear what you like! BTW I love those hats on you!
One favourite thing about autumn is it's the absolute best weather for bicycle riding, especially in the nearby trail fully covered over by trees that are all changing their colours. Plus it's the one time of year that bakers and breweries and such actually remember that people like pumpkin spice.
I tried pumpkin spice a decade ago and didn't like it... then I tried it again a few years ago and had more of an attraction. Think it's something I have to be in the mood for, a treat in itself rather than a regular cofffeeeeeee. Love pastries... almond croissant is the BESTTTTTTT
@beckiejbrown Pumpkin spiced scones are possibly my favourite pastries, and as a cider lover, it's so thrilling when I stumble upon a pumpkin cider this time of year.
I LOVE pumpkins. The look of pumpkins (the odder looking, the better in my opinion). I don’t like the taste or smell, but I love to see them everywhere. I also love red fall leaves. Something that’s made me happy recently is rewatching my favorite show with a loved one.
There's something almost alarming about autumn each year. I think it's that the lessening daylight becomes so noticeable, with night coming on sooner in the evening and holding on longer in the morning. But then -- right about now, in mid- to late-October -- it's as if I adapt to it, and begin to enjoy it. An appreciation for what's fleeting, maybe. And it begins a time of year when I'll get more reading done, so that's a cause for some happiness. BTW -- nothing cringey about the 2013 video you linked to. It's just an earlier you, as interesting as ever.
The light fading has felt sharper this year. I think it's also been odd after a cold summer and now we are heading to winter. It's been so cold... and suddenly the light is going too. I don't mind hats and wrapping up, I feel better in my boots too. As for the comment re 2013, thank you! :D
My favorite part of autumn has to be the vibrant colors of the leaves as they change. There's something wonderous about walking through a park, surrounded by shades of red, orange, and gold. It feels like nature's final celebration before the winter arrives! My next favorite part is the aroma. It’s that perfect blend of crisp, cool air mixed with the earthy scent of fallen leaves and the sweet warmth of cinnamon and apples. Oh golly, lemme tell you, if you add-in a clean-burning chimney fire .... mmmm 😌
The first hat is an amazingly cool look, I've always really liked and wanted one of those hats. It makes you look like a cool poet or a folk musician, :). As for Autumn, I'm trying to get myself out into the woodlands with my dog as the sun is setting to make the most of the amazing colours whenever the weather ic cooperative, :).
You gorgeous in that hat, if it makes you happy to wear it … wear it and damn what others think. You always have marched to your own beat, and that’s what made me full in love with your vid’s ! Thank you for being you - you rock !
My favorite part of autumn has to be the changing of the leaves. The different colors make the forest look like it's on fire, but it's not. I love the deep amber and reds especially.
I'm from the Netherlands but now in de US during autumn, and it's so gorgeous! It's sunny warm weather everyday and the leaves are changing 🥺 Dutch autumn is just grey (which I also like in its own way)
I´ve recently been happy about the fact, that I developed a longer attention span again; in regards to reading. Finally I can sit for hours again, and read! It`s always lovely to see the notification pop up, that you uploaded, so hello! :)
Something that has made me happy is a hat that I bought on a whim a few weeks ago. Its a bucket hat covered in pastel coloured rubber ducks and it makes me so happy to look at. Also rubber ducks remind me of my dad, and I don't get to see him very often anymore so I love a reminder of a happy memory with him.
Something that's made me happy recently is the same thing I love most about autumn and it's LEAVES, BIG LEAVES IN ALL OF THE (autumnal) COLOURS! Where I grew up there were pretty much just birch trees, and birch leaves are small and only really turn yellow or slightly orange, and where I live now there's tons of proper big trees with proper big leaves that turn all the colours and the ground gets absolutely *covered* in them, and I love the colours, kicking them around, taking pretty ones home from walks. It's the best thing ever 🍂
from watching you as a kid, i always loved your fashion. it was so artsy/thrifty/2000s core which is quite popular now. i wish i had a fashion sense and i love your style!
I never was super space 00's though... in my dreams perhaps! Spikey hair, silver lipgloss (I have some sabrina secrets stuff left though!) And thank you :)
Used to be such a recluse at the weekend, just curled up in my home doing nothing, then I started attending my local Parkrun, and while I'm not going to win the Olympics anytime soon, it's a great way to get fresh air on Saturday mornings.
@@beckiejbrownNo such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes. 😋 If it's too icy its called off. They are on at 9 or 9:30 Saturday morning depending on if you are in England/Wales or Ireland/Scotland respectively so daylight is well set in. Chelmsford Central Park looks popular. Average of 700 odd there every Saturday.
I'm more of a spring person. But autumn means the weather gets cool down, which is great. But living in a rush and crowded big city, autumn also means wet grey blocks (big buildings and apartments) everywhere when it rains. I love to see the colours changing in autumn as well. It's a little bit hard to experience it in the big city, but I try. ☺️ As a non-American nor Europian, I don’t interest in Holloween at all. Don't get me wrong, I'm all in for psychological thriller books and movies in all seasons of the year. As you said, I don't like the spiders, gore, and webs all over the places. But I do respect who loves and celebrates it.
How the sun shines down through bright yellow leaves and having my wife back from her home country where she spent most of this year due to disease and death in the family..
Corny - but I am just Happy with Life at the moment. I spent many years struggling with so many mental health problems but have finally got to the stage where I know how to manage them and I am now happy nearly all of the time (apart from the occasional bad day (Rare)). I have suffered from chronic SAD so Autumn isn't my favourite season but can cope fine now with the shorter days and lack of sun light.
NIGEL 😂😂😂😂😂 Battle bridge is great for a rummage. I think there is something good to say for all four seasons. But autumn certainly has the best colour. Alfonso mucha I've probably butchered his name but he did some great seasonal pics. You've got nearly as many hats as me 😂
Sorry if this has already been addressed, but are you living with your parents now? What happened to your apartment? Obviously, don't answer if you don't want to.
I semi moved out a year ago as my Mum had an accident and I was only one around to help - but I was always going to sell and go. It just threw a spanner in the works haha. Between the two currently… Mum is also doing okay but needs some operations in the new year. So things will be shakey again soon ❤❤❤
Nothing really makes me happy unless you cross my path. It doesn't matter if you are in a good mood or not, it is good to get as close as I can to you - on video. Because ahem ahem...something quite expansive has caused a disturbance between us. But who says we can't use boats. 🇺🇸⛴🇬🇧

my fav part of autumn is taking walks in the breezy evening and the crunchy leaves!!
I love the sounds and smell of autumn. Crunchy leaves and bonfires.
Plus, I love that you play Skyrim! I love that game 😃
Favourite part of autumn has to be sitting next to an open fire with a mug of tea and a book! You looked so good in green 😍
my favorite part of autumn is the weather ❤ the perfect temperature to walk outside for hours without being too cold or too hot.
Not sure where you are in the world, but it was almost hot today in the sun here in the UK. Such lovely autumn low golden sun!
@@beckiejbrown haha yes it has been warmer this autumn. i’m from ohio

Autumn is the time of year I begin to see Orion in the sky. Winter is my favorite; I can see Orion all winter long.
Pokemon is my main source of joy right now, the true happiness bringer
Does the pokemon go app still live?!

I recently found a tiny ceramic ghost with a witch hat and a tiny pumpkin. It had to come home with me. It's adorable :))))
