Comments here, they mean the world. Thank you.
I know it's a very niche topic perhaps, wasn't expecting much engagement as never really talked about it on here before, amazingly. Always just posted to facebook/tumblr... So thank you to everyone below for what you've said or event just the 'helloooos'.
been a follower for 10+ years and i’ve always loved your clone photos! thanks for sharing more of editing process!
Thank you :) -I recognised your name too :)
I've been with you since nearly the start, the videos with Jennifer showed so much talent, that I had to follow. Insane to think that it's been nearly 20 years. I'm glad you're still here, and making videos. And I dearly love you can complain about your hair.
"I dearly love you can complain about your hair" - me too, me too :DDDDDDDDDDD and thank you
There's just something different about your clone photos. I think it's the way you look at the camera.... or into it, into some other space and time. I love Jennifer's little cameos.
I really appreciate that, thank you
Fabulous video Rebecca, thoroughly enjoyed watching how you do your clones and seeing the wonderful clones you have done over time, that’s an amazing amount of dedication and work. 👏🏻 especially love the one in front of the sea with your mum and Oscar
Thank you :D. It is a special one that, Mum was exceptionally camera shy growing up and right into the 2020's... so really was amazing to get her in one
been following you for over a decade now and absolutely loved this video. i love when you reference older photos/videos you've done and i've always loved your clone photography. technology may have advanced since the 2000s but i still find your clone photos impressive and interesting. loved this style of video where you got to talk about your creative process
It really has.... even the ability to generate things that aren't there. Even that can be a starting point of so much. Or if I missed off a hand or something (or in the major clone photo on the sculpture in 2009, I knocked the frame slightly and three clones could now be extended to the sides).... it's amazing what it can generate!
Have to laugh really, the one at brighton... whilst trying to use AI to get rid of people on the beach, it created a swan in the sea... too large for the size it should have been and totally out of place. Somewhat scary what it can do :).
And thank you. Could tackle a few subjects in this way. Feel bad I haven't done so earlier. Didn't really have the tech to do so though. Photography was always ahead of the videography.... now they are about equal I'd say
OMG seeing you in my recommended made me light up i used to watch your videos as an actual child and its good to see you again!!!!
HELLLOOOOOOOO
This was really interesting :) it's weird to see some of your old photos cos it reminds me of when I followed your content when I was younger at more difficult periods of my life when I felt lost and alone. I always enjoy hearing from you :)
Thank you and hoping things are better now wherever you are
Hello! I was always fascinated by your cloning photos and videos when I was younger (I’ve been a follower for a while). So it’s really nice to get an insight in the process!
This video is lovely. I've always enjoyed seeing you talk about your archive of photos and video and how they hold memory for you. I wish I was better at documenting bits of my life in this way, and seeing how creative you can be with it (whether with editing photos like this or the way you incorporate old clips of yourself into videos) is inspiring.
Thank you :D.
We all have our quirks... I'm sure there's something about you I'd love to be able to do too :).
As for documentation, sometimes it's good when there is less to look back on.... there are pros and cons haha.
I’ve been following for such a long time and always been inspired by your clones. Really made me get into photo editing when I was younger! Thank you for sharing this - really enjoyed xx
Thought I had written a hello yesterday, thank you :). Glad you enjoy it too!
We need more Rebeccas in this world
Hello from Canada! I have been watching you since around 2009-2010 (if my memory is correct). I remember being so inspired and fascinated by your twin videos back in the day that I began to make my own twin photos! They were on a second generation iPod touch, but I made it work. You have been a big part of my life and I just want to say thank you for always being you.
It’s really cool to see the clone photos, context or not. I don’t think I’d have the patience that I can imagine it takes to do something like that.
I always found your cloning so interesting! Thank you for putting effort into doing this video 💕💕💕
its probably too hard to do because as you’ve mentioned, the rooms have changed but it would be interesting to see a cloning photo featuring you at multiple ages.
Oh yes
HELLO ! Love the attention to detail.I've been a subscriber since 2014 so some of these are a memory trip for me too.
Hello I have absolutely watched every second of this... really cool and inspiring! Have an amazing time with your editing :)! x
Means alot to read that, thank you, thank you for watching every second! x
This was fascinating. I've done a lot of photoshop for work but you can never really tell the effort that goes into the details. The spokes on the bicycle one! Good grief. So much work. Clones or not, a lot of these are just great photos. I hope you keep taking them.
I had no idea how much work goes into clone photos and how many details to look out for, really cool!
Well you do now, going to have a go too? :P
@@beckiejbrownI just might!
I found your channel randomly over 10 years ago as a teenager and I'm not gonna lie the first few months I think I was really confused and unsure if you actually had a twin or not. xd
This was interesting, thanks for sharing!
Mission successful I suppose, my 14 year old self is jumping with joy xxxx
Fascinating. Thank you.
No, thank you :D
It's so fascinating! And how long you've been editing and adapting to the tech changes :) ❤
Hi, hello! I miss the old days when you uploaded more or less regularly. Anyway, happy to see you! C:
Miss parts of the way things have been -
I always loved and admired/adored your cloning and skills with it. I would love to see how you do it. Maybe one day you will show/explain the process, program and features ect. that are needed to do such art.
Great to see you again. Great video as per usual! X
Thanks so much! 😊
Great job as always.. 👍😊
This is cool! Thank you for sharing these pictures and how you make them. I don’t think they have to be perfect (however you measure thay) to be interesting, fun, or expressive. Maybe they are even better because they’re not perfect, in my opinion.
But anyway, I've never done anything like this, so it's interesting to learn about!
Thank you ❤ hope it wasn’t too much at once. Appreciate you watching as always 🎉
Hello! I saw you uploaded and it was 20+ minutes but I didn't think twice to see it, even it being long. ❤❤❤ Glad to hear you seem to be doing good! 😊
I should have prompted people at the start to get a cuppa tea.... :D.
Thank you
Thanks for finally sharing. Keep up with the RE-inspiration! You have been missed on the YT - even though you are in short spurts on the apps. Much Love to you Rebecca, It was a pleasure meeting you @ the Trich Conference in NJ, USA & being silly and giving you handfuls of Tangles
Debating today whether to start on shorts... I'm exhausted with all the platforms, how can we keep up with em all haha :). Thank you.... and all my tangles - they are in a box at the foot of my bed on that bookcase. Love them to pieces... and the ones twenty years old are in pieces... :)
Hello! This is such a unique and fascinating collection! I've really enjoyed seeing your clone photos and videos over the years. It's evident you have extraordinary skill with this. I recall when digital photography was first rolled out, my dad and I played with the editing and made a clone photo of me with a "twin". I took a print out of it to school with me to see if anyone could guess if it was real or not (I had just moved schools so it was plausible they might believe I have a twin they didn't know).

Man I wish I had seen this video before I got my haircut. I could have made a clone photo with me before and after my haircut
Hats can be good too :)
Hello ❤ I always loved your cloning photos and videos. Also miss Jenifer❤
Thank you :D
Can't get PayPal link to work for some reason. A was able to get on Patreon. Hello from other side of the world, USA west coast. I originally started to watch your videos because teenage Jen was playing foosball with you, and I wanted my daughter to have your kind of inspiration.
Just a big thank you for letting me know, I had no idea it wasn't working.
It was linking to my OLD paypal, switched it over to my current handle. Wouldnt have known if that weren't for you.
THANK YOU :D
And thank you again....
Great to see you again RJB. (Does anyone call you RJB? I do now). Would be fascinated if you did an AI vid.
My work call me RJB (not Beckie offline anymore) :). I am so nervous with my art and AI, that would be something amazing and frustrating all at once!
@@beckiejbrown Your Art is simply beautiful - a video on that would be amazing! But you should only do what you feel comfortable with.....
I have to agree or say my service dog, Moon. Is also the loudest dog I ever thought would be. He makes a sound with his mouth and I feel it’s just so obnoxiously loud and sounds wet that it just triggers me at times. I believe your photography is good. But if I may ask… would you have any suggestions about writing a “creative photography resume” I need to write one but I am self taught. Eighteen years I believe and I’m going to try and get myself a spot within a studio space but I have to allow a group of people that I don’t know to see my work. I have to be juried into the place. Which sounds stressful but I honestly hope that my work is as good as I have been told. I’ve been told that I should have a show. And hopefully I can achieve this within the future. Would you have tips on pricing ones work? I believe you may have mentioned feeling extremely attached to your work. But I definitely could use a source of income. And I hope my photography is as good as folks have told me before. I’m wishing you the best. I feel bad that I never was able to purchase some of your own work. But yes do have a brilliant and beautiful day or night.
I'm not sure to be honest.
This week, I've stepped into the world of chatgpt, and whilst asking it to write it for you is not the best idea, it might be worth asking that platform for some help? It's amazing... scary sometimes, but amazing.
If you've been told you should be showing your work, that's a compliment/uplifting response there and then. If you're able to have a go at that, go for it! I know it's daunting perhaps, I've shied away from doing things.... but that sounds like you've something there spurring you forwards. Take the cahnce
Hi Rebecca, very interesting video. Thank you.
Thank you for watching
Is there an in-software tool you use for having AI extend photos? I haven't found anything like that in Photoshop, but it's something I rarely need to do, so I end up frantically searching online for a free browser-based extender... sometimes with mixed results...
I guess that would be inside photoshop, but I honestly don't know.... so many programmes nowadays. I've extended some photos before, not quite like the tiktok trend but as practice... it can help extend ;)
Talking about your cloning journey reminds me of you doing Doctor Who stuff for some reason. (i'm two minutes in so if this gets mentioned, oops.)
Oops replied to the wrong comment haha. Thank you, but as for doctor who - not so much. I could talk about cloning till the end of time though. Why I did it. Video versions of cloning. Can come back to it.
HELLO BECKIE! 💖
HELLOOOOOOO
Some of the photos shown in this video reminded me of the video of yours where you cooked your tea and I was filled with warmth ja comfortableness and nostalgia. 💖 It was, for the longest time, my goto comfort video! It is so nice and heart warming to see you again!
Like you were gone or something. 🙄 But I hope you know what I mean! 😅
@@Insuliinikorva I think I know the one you mean, had plaits in my hair. Not sure if all my food ones are still up (find them complicated to look back on once I understood I was autistic especially... think some are funny, and other times... it's clear as crystal I'm a decade behind everyone else with food.... still am... :D. Love the beckie cake one.... that one really has a sparkle I wish I had today
Hello! Enjoyed the infodump 😊
Love this
@@beckiejbrown My pleasure, I love hearing people talk about their passions 🤓

This video was suggested to me by YT randomly. I keep seeing this add for I think the Google Pixel 9 that apparently has the ability to do this. I am guessing it will do the same thing with glasses.
Well hello and welcome to you! :D. Didn't think I showed up anywhere nowadays :D. Could do... I remember in 2021 my brother showing me a feature on his google pixel and that blew my mind at the time....
Wish i coule go back in time and give a hug to 2011-12 Rebecca 🩷
