I especially love that the soul master/soul sanctum theme is actually the same melody as City of Tears, just slowed down. It's part of the same place, but turned darker. 🎶

Tbh I much prefer sealed vessel
It's always impressive how Bosses like Nosk & Hive Knight, two hidden, optional bosses whom you may or may not even find and/or fight, and before the addition of Godhome, you'd only fight a maximum of 1 time per save file, each have their own, entirely unique themes.
- "False Knight" & 'Decisive Battle' are each used for multiple boss fights.
- Hornet's theme is used for each of her encounters
- Dream Battle is shared amongst all dream warriors
- Soul Master & Broken Vessel are both significant story-bosses and at least repeat their theme in their respective dream battle
- Dung Defender & Mantis lords have their own unique themes that's only heard once, but they're are significant story characters/bosses.
- Zote's & White Defenders themes are both unique to them, and while they are optional fights, you're at least able to repeat their respective fights multiple times outside of Godhome.
- Sealed Vessel, Radiance and Pure Vessel are VERY story significant boss-fights, so clearly they deserve their own themes.
- Sisters of Battle and Daughter of Hallownest are basically remixes, but still impressive.
That leaves Grimm, who also is an optional character you may or may not find and fight, who has TWO themes tied to him, one for each of his encounters. But Grimm is such a kick-ass character and his fights and themes are all top notch, he definitely deserves the special treatment

yea nosk was a really hard boss, so having its own theme made it much better, though I did it without wings so it was harder than it was supposed to be xD

I can't enjoy this music fully. I hear the attack sounds on the background, and want to dodge. Beating 5th panteon was a bad idea.
I feel the exact same way. I never knew how amazing soul master's theme was because all I can hear when fighting him are grunts, heavy breathing, and screams. Some of them feel empty without it thought, like hornet's theme without her voice lines.

Damn do I love broken vessels theme. It fits the atmosphere of the fight so well. A fight against one of your own kind, being forcefully controlled and powered.

It's amazing how hollow Knight has perfect soundtracks for his bosses, they give a deeper feel to the battle, you can feel the emotions of the fight, the glory and strength of each champion.
The leader of the troupe gives the feeling of a dance, a performance, just like the moon itself, sometimes you survive, sometimes you hunt, ups and downs.
The Nightmare King, on the other hand, provides a more chaotic atmosphere, a greater adrenaline rush for such a challenging fight.
The music for buried warriors conveys the greatness of excellent warriors of the past.
The white defender and the dung defender give an air of the glory of a loyal and fearless warrior.
The Battle Sisters soudtrack Gives the air of grandeur of seeing respected and powerful warriors in full action.

Soul Master has the most fire and epic ost in the game. Change my mind, im tired of people saying that NKG and Pure Vessel have better ones.

They don't have their own theme. The game uses dynamic soundtrack when you fight them, AKA just adding more instruments to the area theme
Or just makes the area theme more lively, and also intense in a good way
Im currently playing through hollow knight, and im stuck on hornet (second fight) if anyone could gimme tips i'd like that
i think best advice for you is just repeat battle until you win, lol. Try to remember all of attacks, and yes, in future if you don`t can beat the boss, you can try to find some power ups, but on hornet you can`t find anathyng cool

@@FunDaTaAaanother tip is get rid of the spike balls she places in the air as fast as possible. At first they aren’t an issue, but they can stack up really fast and make it much more difficult to dodge hornet.
If you struggle really hard i recommend you just explore the map for more mask shards and soul receptacle and such. Also try to find a suiting charm build for you ! Then just have enough determination to try again and again until you win !
