He sees three shiny triangles, who seem to belong to a little square.
He decides to steal them.
Later on he gets infected with a wierd pink stuff.
A sort of corruption.
The little square helps him.
He goes back to the player and stays with them.
Who gets the reference?(sorry for the bad english)

This hits close to home. One kid at my old school really liked undertale. He was always morbid and didn't really talk to anyone. Then I decided maybe if i got to know him i would like him. Turns out i really did. We became really good friends. We got through bad times together and had great times hanging out. We kinda bonded over undertale. Then one day he hugged me. He told me after that he's never hugged anyone like that before or made a friend like me. Now he moved to Callifornia. I didn't even get to say good bye, so this is my goodbye. Thanks for being a great friend.
Edit: no the bad times thing was not intentional. Also, he didn't have a phone at the time so I never got his phone number. I don't even know what part of California he moved to. Also, the teacher at my old school retired and probably wouldn't even remember him anyway so I can't ask her.
And God looks down at you and blesses a kind and caring soul like you. I'm sure that you two will see each other again soon.
I had to move away from my bff we were best buddys threw 1 grade to 2 grade but then i moved we make a lot of art together i told her i had to move and she was so sad i was to but one day we might see eachother again she was super nice though....

Every time I try, I lose it at either Undertale or Hopes and Dreams, both so beautiful songs accompanied with probably the most emotional parts of the game. 5 years ago, I would've never thought that a pixilated game could make me cry, care, and feel so much.
Knowing that sometime in the future, Minecraft, Undertale, Deltarune, and more of your favorite games will die out... fills you with sadness...
..but deep inside, you know that you won't let them die. You are filled with DETERMINATION.

there is a channel called: Man on the internet.
he made kind of an series of "Undertale: the Musical". not an actual musical, but all the songs get lyrics there and funny/cool transition scenes between them. he concluded everything in a video over FOUR HOURS, and he also made an EXTENSION of ANOTHER hour, called "Undertale; the Genocide Package". In my Opinion definitely some of the best videos of undertale on youtube!

I never realized how great Alphys Takes Action is. I know it's a fan made track, but it does feel like a scientist has decided to stick up for their morals and take action to protect their beliefs. Pretty cool if you ask me.

It’s fills me with kindness, perseverance, integrity, patience, bravery, justice, and DETERMINATION.
I was OBSESSED with this when I first came across it in the height of my Undertale phase, it's just so well done. Every single track is just amazing, I honestly wish this was on Spotify because I would listen the hell out of it.
And I've recently come across this again and it's STILL as good as it was, when I had even downloaded the entire video just so I could listen to it on road trips and the like.
I remember showing this to my family, and they don't know Undertale but they enjoyed this. This is truly a timeless masterpiece even for those who don't play or know about Undertale, that's just how well done it is 👏

You're still standing in front of Undyne's cave.
After playing for 2 hours and stopping to go to bed, it's your favorite pastime.

Sleeping by night,
And waiting out the pandemic.
You tell your friends about the game, and everyone starts talking about their love for it.
After lots of trial and error, crying and laughing, you reach the end.
After the credits, you find Toby Fox's PO box.
You write a letter and attach a drawing to it, then send it his way.

It touched so many hearts, of children and adults.

Honestly i can see undertale being a musical and this music being used. Honestly who ever composed this did the most wonderful job doing so and they deserve a ton of recognition for their work.

Okay so a week ago my nephew was born and he was named Azriel. My sister has no idea what that means for me but she's happy that I get happy everytime she talks about lil' Azzy.

I don't mean to rain on your parade at all, but the thing about naming a kid Azriel is the name "Azrael" which is one of the world's deadliest demons out there. "Asriel" is also an anagram including Dreemurr which means Serial Murderer. So, even though I'd be happy about it too, it's kinda considered a curse. Make sure Azriel doesn't turn into Flowey. ;)

Undertale may not be the most action packed, it may not be the easiest to understand and it may not look near as good as most games, but to me it will always be the deepest most lesson teaching, most heart wrenching, and most unforgettable memorable game I have and ever will play. Stay determined
Do not be filled with just DETERMINATION, for many have witnessed what that alone is capable of. Rather than just a single soul trait, be filled with all seven. Remember to be filled PATIENCE, PERSEVERANCE, INTEGRITY, KINDNESS, BRAVERY, JUSTICE, and DETERMINATION.

There's the actual gameplay mechanics, music, character development, and much more. The fandom wouldn't be as huge as it is if the game wasn't THAT good. My dad died recently and I feel at school all my friends don't really need me, for example we're walking and all of them start talking in small groups and I don't even know what to do. Sometimes at school I just wanna cry and dissapear. So I thought a little of Undertale music could fill me with determination, and it did! Thanks for this awesome playlist! :)

Thank you Undertale for being a part of my childhood and being the main reason I started to draw. I'm thinking of applying to an art school because of how much I have progressed. Undertale will always have a special place in my heart.
after a few years of playing the new hit games, you go scrolling through youtube to find some nice music, then, just like a brick wall of nostalgia, the word "undertale" comes into your mind. you scramble to type it into the search bar, and a minute or two of searching, you pick something, as you listen to song after song, remix after remix, the memories flood back into your head...

the choice is yours in this world, and choices have consequences... the memories of genocide fill your mind, twisting it, tainting it. no matter how many times you reset. no matter how many times you forget and remember. you killed them. you killed and spared these wonderful monsters. these people have died by your hands. but as long as you look on the bright side maybe someday you will be forgiven. as you close your laptop, you remember that even though it's just a game... the experiences are real. thank you all for these wonderful years.

Hey Sully! Just wanted to let you know that I've been listening to your work for a very long time now, and this video remains one of my biggest comfort sources. School has never been easy, home life is hard, blah blah blah... Undertale was one of the _biggest_ things to get me through it. Toby Fox is a master of many things, and you added an incredible amount of emotion into all of it. Some of my favorite parts include the beautiful and simplistic orchestration of Once Upon a Time, the artful, melancholy tension build to Heartache, and my all time favorite... Flowey's Finale! The melody and overall _emotion_ in this piece has always hit me right in the ribs, and I hold it very dearly. 33:35 leads into some of my favorite seconds in this entire thing!
Your use of tempo changes, tone, subtle melodies and hints, and overall swells/crests make your takes on some of my favorite songs even better than before; that's pretty impressive! Thank you _so_ much for your work. I... do not know where I would be without it.

Man, I am so glad I didn't discover Undertale's majesty till February 2021, because enough time has passed and there is now just an endless fountain of art to participate in, listen to, and enjoy.

i'm sad i missed out on all the events and that so many blogs and comics and fanfics are abandoned, but now there's so much more to discover. i feel like i could never get tired of undertale. some people might do some questionable things with this game and these characters, but the awesome far outweighs the weird. i love this fandom, and always will :)
It's been almost 4 years, but that hasn't changed anything. The overhype and fanbase killed undertale for everyone but the few people who can look past that to see this for what it is; an eternal work of art that consists of good times and bad times, emotions and laughs, friends and enemies, love and loss, hello's and goodbyes, reward and regret, but most importantly, the memories. If you enjoyed this game, you'll never truly forget it. That's one thing the true fans will have in common even decades later. We'll remember the characters, the music, the laughter, the tears, the DETERMINATION. This game changed my life. This game is why I'm glad I was born when I was.
This game will be remember for generations.

If I were to ever get Undertale, I struggle on whether or not to Genocide, since it's just a game, and though I beat Bad Time Simulator and Jevil before I haven't battled Undyne, but then again, I've already watched most of Undertale on playthroughs and don't really want to ruin it... :(
@@ivian8425 I have never played Genocide before! I just don't have it in me to kill all of my friends and characters that I have grown to love so much! It hurts that whenever I ask about Undertale, all people say is the sans fight in the Genocide run. When I think of Undertale, I think of Asriel and Toriel and all of my friends. Asriel makes me cry every time I see him. And Flowey is also my other favorite character. I just don't ever want to kill anyone! It hurts way too much. And there are few times that I actually get upset and mad at people in real life. I like to sometimes relate what I'd do IRL to what I do in Undertale.
I am struggling with my studies right now and this music calms me a lot. This is indeed one of the best soundtracks I have heard and everytime I listen to this, I am filled with determination.

@@txbandit101 hey just because people ship charisk or frans or even soriel doesnt automatically make them bad........... there's plenty of pople out there myself included that ship pairs like charisk but prefer to stay away from all the............... *erhem* "questionable" material revolving around them save for a few relatively nicely done comics/fan series namely ask mercy and another little half hour or so thing done by i believe it was starbot dubs both of which are actually pretty decently done charisk fan series that show not all parts of the fandom are bad............ its just like the great papyrus himself says: "anyone can be a good person, if they just try" and tibia honest the way you worded it its as if you were putting all of the undertale fandom in 1 pile and lableing it as bad regardless of their intentions......... lets not forget other phenominal fan series out there made by the fans (3 different incarnations bare minimum of a musical themed after undertale, a multitude of great fan series/comics such as glitchtale and underverse just to name 2)

This made me cry. To know that some people out there worked their asses off to make these masterpieces for a game that I have spent hours playing means the world not only to me, but for hundreds of people out there. I've never been more happy.
It may not be the best game of all time, but it is the game that had the largest impact on my life. And one of the pieces of art i have felt most connected to in general.

Okay we need to agree that Once upon a time was relaxing and Hope's and dreams was sounded epic
It’s 2016, and raining outside your house. As you listen to the sounds the of the raindrops, it reminds you of the statue getting rained on in Waterfall. You can suddenly hear the beautiful sounds of the music box chirping the notes of His Theme.
You get on your computer and boot up Undertale. As you load your SAVE, you see yourself back at the entrance to the Border, and all of your friends standing around you. You remember you couldn’t bring yourself to finish the game, as you thought the emotions would be too overwhelming.
Filled with Determination, you exit the underground and view the sunset with your friends/family. The moment touches your very soul. As you tell Toriel you want to stay with her, your vision becomes blurry as you see Toriel grab Frisk’s hand through your tears.
As the credits end, you watch Toriel deliver your pie and you see “Undertale” and “The End” underneath it. You hear the very same notes as the music box from Waterfall. It’s all too much, and you burst into tears.
Undertale is a beautiful masterpiece with amazing characters, touching scenes, hilarious humor, and a beautiful story. This game has impacted millions of people in positive ways, and we’ve cried countless times over Asriel’s final moments. The Undertale Community thanks you, Toby Fox, because without you, all of this would be impossible.

I have to finally comment on this video. I have been listening to this to do college homework for about a year and a half now. I can't even imagine how many times I've heard this all the way through, and it sounds just as amazing as the first time I listened to it.
