The problem with a good athlete in HS is that the opposition is not always able to take advantage of your flaws; thus, the bad habits stay because they work... for now. Forget NBA from HS- go to a D1 college with a good coach and build your skills.

My first visit to your channel...and WOW!... kudos to your amazing breakdowns and advice to a great player with potential HOF credibility. Even an amateur and casual player like myself learned from this short clip...so I can only imagine what you could teach young players over many coaching sessions on the court. And I think AJ seems like a very coachable, self-reflective, and remarkable young man...and will definitely learn from your guidance. We all hope he keeps a company of wonderful and trustworthy people around him...not let fame, ego, or negative influences derail him...and wish him great success and a path of positive contributions in the future.

Wow, I wish I would have had a coach like you in high school. The knowledge you possess passing it down to these players is so impactful if they just apply it. I see where you guys are coming from watching AJ play. He has the gift there is no doubt about that. I just hope his gift is matched by love for playing the game. You pinned the tail on the Donkey calling out his 2 actual weaknesses not getting low and when he drives dribbling that ball up high, but both of those should be corrected if he gets into the habit of getting down to their waist making his move driving. Good video, but comparing him to NBA superstars is a bit of a stretch. Cause if you compare him during their tenures in high school, then you’d see that those same superstars used to do the SAME EXACT THING, or even worse. AJ at this age is BY FAR more advanced than those guys you compared him to. AJ easily dominated a Drew League game, while being the youngest on the court. It’s levels to basketball, and he’s one of those once in a generation type of talents. Also, his defense is good, but like you said, there’s always room for improvement.

I hope he was listening. Great advice.
At the very beginning of the video he goes left but switches to his right hand for a layup-- hope he has a left hand? In college, that gets blocked. He also needs to keep his eyes on the ball and his defender-- look at his eagle stance where his back is to the ball and he sees only his defender. My 2 cents-- and it may be only worth 2 cents. Kid is a star with huge upside.

I hate when clickbate is so effective smh. I’m 42 years old and without a doubt Best High school player I’ve ever seen was Lebron Raymone James against Westchester in LA 2002. This kid while talented isn’t even close 😂

He said AJ is the best High Schooler he's seen IN person. Not everyone had the pleasure to watch your king live in person, in high school.

It’s crazy he play so high posture 😂😂 it’s kinda 🔥 tho. He out there lookin like the drunken master! Kinda like Lamelo ball but Melo seems to know how to get lower and cuff the ball almost perfectly before finishing.

7:08 that's something I don't agree with. The dip gives you rythm and it's part of the shot process
