Here's a very collectable '61 bubble top Impala! It's power by a massive pro built, 2x4 AFB carburetor, 409 ci V8 with a mild cam, Super T10 4 speed, and 3:70 posi trac rear end! It has 2 inch drop spindles, power disc brakes, dual exhaust with header plates, and American Racing wheels! Inside, it has new stock style interior as well as a few necessary gauges to keep an eye on all that motor! Other engines options include chrome 409 valve covers, chrome alternator, chrome air cleaners, Optima red top battery, headers, and billet pullies and over flow bottle. All the glass, chrome, and stainless are in excellent condition, and the paint is gorgeous as well! The car starts, runs, and stops extremely well. It's a smooth ride down the road and all the weather seals remain quiet at higher speeds. A truly amazing Impala with loads of torque!

Well that's gorgeous. I've always been a Ford guy, never been attracted to many Chevy's but this is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for not overdoing it ala restomod and cartoonish giant rims.

My first car was a red 61 Impala convertible. I think I only paid a couple hundred bucks for it in 1967. It was in bad shape and I got a deal because my mother worked for the dealership. Thanks for sharing this vid, brought back memories

Not likely, Bucko (unless you had a FORD motor in it :-)

people say the gto was the first muscle car. bull your looking at it this car will smoke a 389 .so bring it mid sixe its only 4 inches longer
i just think Pontiac dont deserve the muscle car start up .Chevy built the 409 396 427 454 .plus the best engine ever the small blocks yes blocks.

I had one of those. Mine had a 289 in it when I got it. I replaced it with a 307.
I put a 69 Sox & Martin Prostock hood scoop on it (big). Hooker Headers, three on the floor (Hearst shifter).
Break any rear ends yet? The clutch disks break too. Then there is that pesky center bearing on the driveshaft.
Nice ride you got there :-)

As crazy as it sounds, this short video actually fills me with sadness. Because when I look at this incredible specimen of pure beautiful muscular Americana, I become sick to the stomach thinking of what America has degenerated into... not only because of the billionaire thugs which have seized control of the country with their laughably illegitimate pseudo military coup, but also because the American people have allowed this to happen and are doing nothing about it. Oh well at least we have our memories like this car...

Benjamin Patrick I respectfully disagree. I don't know if those rims are Factory or not, but they're not outlandish or tacky. I think they actually suit the car.

Did you really turn on the wiper's to show us they work really ? on a dry windshield ? You must come from a long line of Automobile salesman ? Because NO true "Car Guy" would ever even think to turn on the wipers as a sales demonstration and NEVER on a dry windshield ....but hey . you didn't know .. so now you know ..

"Southern Motors" (In MI !") Does this with EVERY classic car they have for sale on TH-cam. You can't reprimand them, they turned off comments. I even Emailed their business about it, but they don't give a $hit.
