I’m 67. My motto: I may age but I refuse to grow old. My strategy: stay active, stay curious, stay fit, and stay stylish.
Us older guys really need to watch our diet and exercise regularly too. You don't have be a health food nut or a gym rat...just limit greasy foods and empty calories and a normal routine of even light exercise will help you feel youthful (not young!). I ignored both for almost 10 years and it showed - not just in terms of flab, but everywhere. Once I started focusing on them again I noticed my skin cleared up, my clothes fit better, and I'm not experiencing nearly as much lower back or joint pain. I'm 52 now and feel as confident as I did in my 30s and people have definitely noticed!
Exactly. This is priority number one for me. I’m 46 and the young women love me because I keep myself in shape and healthy.
My #1 tip to stay looking youthful: Keep the nose hair, ear hair, and eyebrows under control. Having a thicket growing in any of those locations would make me look old.

I wear sport coats casually year round. Dress it up and down according to the event. It's my signature look. It's a more distinguished look. I'm 64 and not trying to look 24.

I have a thing about odd waistcoats or vests. I love the look casually and when I'm suited and booted. Another signature look of mine.

I'm 46 and just in the last couple of months I've finally traded in the relaxed fit jeans for straight fit, bought my first pair of chukkas, a few slim fit untucked style button downs, a nice dressy car coat, etc
What a difference a few wardrobe changes can make.

Thanks for these great tips. I liked the idea of having younger looking items to a minimum and using one item at a time, that way it doesn't make you feel like you transitioning into Rip Van Winkle. And also follow trends but don't chase them. Much obliged!

There are plenty of men who don't like to dress up, who wear a fitted cap, white tee and a hoodie all the time. They don't want to change
I agree with incorporating elements of younger looks into your wardrobe. I bought new joggers for the gym. Y'all know now that pants are all tapered at the ankle and are less baggy. Once i started to wear those, I felt i looked "younger" at the gym instead of my old champion sweats with the wide legs.I'm not going any slimmer tho
I have 2 style tech wear and classic Americana raw denim jeans boots dress boots and casual boots. I save Jordans for the summer and spring.

Love your content Style OG but I've been rocking fuller cut pants with cuffs and suits(well tailored of course) for at least 30 yrs along with sweaters and polos with my slacks(usually moreno wool) my concession to modern fashion I LOVE monk strap shoes and really like some of the shoes of the last 15yrs also I will add pop to whatever I'm wearing with the socks. I 've gotten a ton of compliments from young and older men and women for some reason I'm known as the cool O.G my point is whatever you wear be confident and comfortable with your style choices I'm conservative it works for me find what works for you and you can't go wrong. Oh one more thing good grooming is essential and please gentlemen keep your shoes shined. Again love your work Style O.G. you're providing a valuable service especially for men who may not have had a stong male Prescence in there life.

What's up Style O.G. I'm turning 31 next month, and I needed to see this video because I'm caught in the middle of feeling like I'm getting older and thinking that I'm still in my youth.
Haircut tip: find a barber that's really good at what they do, that you really trust and really like and let them do whatever they want to you. They will always know what the best stuff is going to be for people's features, facial shapes, etc as well as they're always going to know what's in style. Trust professionals to take care of you, instead of relying on your own comfort zones
I was clean shaven so I thought I'd try to rock a beard. It came in white and while I kept it trimmed and groomed I thought it made me look older. I agree with you on the baseball cap. Still looking for a hat to up my style a little and cover my balding head. A fedora is too formal for me in most situations.
Try a flat cap. White beard is also super good looking.
And shave all your hair off. Nothing worse than a man trying to hide bald spots.

Another thing to keep in mind is to clean up your diet, get plenty or enough sleep, and sip instead of drink. Moderation is key.

Unfortunately, I live in a state that is ALL casual. If I wore some of the outfits up you’ve modeled daily, I would be waaaaaaaay over dressed. I love what you’re saying and I agree but, I’ve had to tone it down due to the environment. It’s hard to have a nice pair of shoes here because they get torn up! 🤷🏾♂️. When the occasion calls for it, I am ALWAYS the best dressed. I just wish I could dress like you everyday.

As a 68 year man in a decidedly style-challenged part of the country all I see are young men dressing like boys and old men dressing like they’ve given up. I come off as a “dandy” or a “peacock” (I’ve been called both?!) - and just because I coordinate what I wear. I haven’t seen a grown man wear leather shoes in years. Strange times. Nice to touch base with style channels like the Style OG - just to have faith there are folks out there who still care how they present themselves to the world. Saa- lute!

@The Style O.G: To see older men dress like they're 25 is a sad and pathetic thing. Brothers that are 50 years old with fitted hats twisted to the side or backwards. I'm pushing 40, and certain sneakers i had 20 or so years ago ill never wear again(foamposites) and I make sure to keep balance. I dress age appropriate. Keep up the great videos
