Picking up my 2008 6MT next week and cannot wait to do all these things here in Transylvania. Great, inspiring video. Many safe & exciting miles with your beautiful FJ.
Iceberg's unite! Is that the original KO spare on the back? I'm thinking about going to 35's on my next set. Currently running Yokohama Geolander MT G003's in 33's.
It is! Probably would explode if I actually tried to use it. I love these Baja Boss 35x10s. Too pricey for a spare but I should put a usable 35 on the back.
@@TheMistermike87 Yeah, 4.56 gears, F/R lockers, 3" lift. Agree this size is perfect (body mount chop and some inner fender clearancing to fit), I think even 37's look too big and I believe the body mount has to be relocated if you go any bigger.
I’m not a Toyota guy, but the FJ is probably the best, most reliable off roading SUV ever made. It’s a shame Toyota has now chosen profits over quality.
Totally agree, all these iconic Toyota off roaders are now over priced mini vans with to much technology/electronics. It’s a shame Toyota doesn’t offer a model or trim that has an old school 6 cylinder and little to none driver aid technology, the last generation of Toyota trucks will be the last of what a Toyota truck truly is.

Thanks, enjoy your '08 6MT. Best vehicle I've ever owned.

@@JohnDoe-gs6pz Nice! Have you regeared? The FJ looks so much better (proportional) with 35's for sure.

Yep it's a real bummer. Not sure about "best" (at least not in stock form), but this one has 310000 miles and counting.
