- 160g topside beef (or whichever cut you have)
200g ho fun
100g bean sprouts
½ small onion
1 spring onion
Condiments:
½ tablespoon dark soy sauce
Dash of cooking wine
Dash pepper powder
½ teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon light soy sauce
¼ teaspoon MSG

To anyone that can't get the wok hei on your normal cooker you might want to try a cheap portable induction hob. I bought one for £22 from Asda and use it with a standard round bottom wok and it works amazingly. You get a ring of red hot metal in it if you leave it for 30 seconds on 1400 watts. It changed everything for me.
