Amazing.
The best Chinese cook on TH-cam!
Wow, thank you!
Made this once before, but with peanut butter, it was nice. Now I have Jimmy’s satay sauce so I’ve made it again. It was fabulous! Thank you for sharing the secrets.
Great to hear!
I just bought Jimmy's Sate the other day, I know how I'[m going to use if the first time! Thanks Khoan!
you'll love it :)
Thanks Khoan, I love the cooking set up in a Chinese take away, everything is at an arms distance away, so simple but so genius....oh and so delicious 😍
Glad you like it!
Just had this with cooked noodles and added a bit of pineapple. Stunning! First time I've tried sate but not the last. Thank you.
Sounds great!
Looks as delicious as ever master. Thank you for your knowledge and experience.

Its my ultimate meal too lol
Wonderful Chef, thank you very much. So simplistic, looks gorgeous. 👍
My pleasure
Just made this it's gorgeous and better than the way I used to make it (Jimmy's, peanut butter and water).
Although I did add a tbsp of peanut butter and half a cup of water just to get some more sauce.
well done!
@@KhoanVong I've tried lot's of your recipes and they are very good.
The one video that I wish you would make is, how to make chow mein at home on a standard electric/gas hob.
I have followed your video's and other's, but unless I have a commercial wok burner I can't get the taste the same.
That might be a good idea for a new series 😉 how to recreate Chinese takeaway at home using a standard hob 😊
beautiful, simple and elegant💖👍👍
Thank you! 😊
Amazing recipe, one of my top dishes. Thank you very much!
My pleasure 😊
What is next best to Jimmy’s sate sauce if I can’t find it.another top recipe.best Chinese Chef on TH-cam 😀👍🏻
maybe you can try teo brand or Lee Kum Kee brand.
Thank you very much
love Satay! you are the best Khoan!
thanks:)
Thanks chef lot's of things I learn form you ❤️❤️
So nice of you
How do you make it so there is a bit more sauce in the dish? Didn't want to add water as thought it would taste watered down
Looks proper that..well done
Thanks
Looks very nice
Thanks M8
Glad you like it
Bang on the money khoan brilliant 👏 👌
Thanks:)
Brilliant Khoan
thanks Graham.
Hello Khoan, been working through all your recipes and they are fantastic thanks for sharing your trade secrets, made the chicken satay tonight for 3 people and it was very spicy I just multiplied your ingredients by 3 therefore using 3 teaspoons of Jimmy's sauce do you think i put to much in? thanks Khoan.
maybe use a bit less satay sauce next time. They are quite spicy.
Wicked - Thanks so much Khoan 😁👍🏻
No problem 👍
Any reason you left the garlic in larger pieces rather than crushing? Thanks for the Jimmy’s recommendation.
not particularly, just thought it looks nicer:)
Looks good as always, You just get your Woks from a normal Wholesaler?
thanks, yeah I get my wok from my supplier. Chinese supermarket sells them too.
Ah just made it ate it and loved it
But no msg salt sugar? 😊
No need
No peanut butter?
not this one
do you start by boiling the chicken in regular water?
yes
Did you boil the chicken in water? Also no MSG? Does MSG make the food taste alot better? Thanks
MSG is like salt on Crack - uncle Roger
yes I did boil the chicken, I did not use MSG for this dish. The sauce has enough flavour, but adding a some pinch of MSG will taste better though:)
I know what's for dinner tonight, thanks
Hope you enjoy
I usually have King Prawn in satay sauce so is this the same recipe but then you add stock and corn starch slurry for a wet sauce version?
Yes 😊
good vid khoan what can i substituent jimmies satey paste for as a vegetarian
you can try to find a version that is vegetarian, yeah jimmmy sate sauce has prawns in the ingredients.
Thank you
You're welcome
Where can you buy Jimmy Sate sauce in the UK? Thanks :)
Chinese supermarket stock them.
@@KhoanVong Thanks. I'll try to find it online. I live in Japan so I can't visit the UK Chinese supermarkets :) Hope you're back with more great food and recipes soon.
Is 100.000btu enough to create wok hei ?
it depend how you use the wok. 100.000btu is definitely good for wok hei.
Love satay, you didn't add peanut butter as satay is a peanut sauce khoan
I want to keep it simple, the sauce has enough flavour.
Half of Greed / Gred pepper.. ancient Chinese ingredient
just ingredients from my shop:)
Beautiful wok hei
Thanks a lot
