    Awesome guide! Was able to get my wear ring assembly swapped out in 45 minutes round trip. Really appreciate it!!

    Thanks MrDavcan. I searched around on how to pull it apart and couldn't find much so figured it out myself and decided to video. Hopefully it helps a few folks out.

    I made it on my VX. It is very similar as the FX exepted the fact that the shaft drive doesn't come with the nozzle and the propeller. The installation is a little bit different but very common as your FX.

    That hose and valve is for the sprayer that shoots out of the rear deck. It's so I can turn the sprayer on and off. Used another piece of hose so I could keep the original in one piece.

    Haha thanks junkyardhemi. Unfortunately the sun has wrecked it a bit. Needs some touching up now.

    Do you have to put rubber plate back on or can you leave it off ?? I ride in salt water and it just is in the way for washing the ski down after a ride

    hey all, hoping someone can help, everything went well till i try to put shaft back into the hole at the back, it goes in so far but then no further and is like a spring pushing back out, almost like air is trapped and forcing the shaft back out when i try to push it in. we did put grease in the grease nipple at back of engine and think maybe it took too much and maybe that is what the problem is, what do you think? please help. yamaha gp1200x 1999 2 stroke

    I assume that black plastic fender behind pump is a brake right? My friend bought a waverunner and when he was using it last year, he had trouble docking. That thing just kept running ahead on idle. The one I rented held still on idle. So is there maybe some line adjustment on it?

      That black fender use for break old model don,t have break or neutral you gonna play with reverse and fwd while docking unlike the newest model they have neutral.

      Hi Gary, no I didn't use gasket goo when reassembling the pump. Have heard since that you're supposed to though.

    What was torque on the 4 bolts?

    • @JuicyAUS
      @JuicyAUS  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ehh from memory it was around 80nm by the specs. Could be wrong there. It was a while ago. I didn’t torque them though. Just did them right.
