In this video, we'll show you how to repair the hull of your Yamaha Waverunner PWC, which can become damaged over time due to contact with ramps and floating docks. These impacts can cause scratches and cracks, which can be easily fixed with the right tools and materials.
To start, you'll need epoxy resin and hardener, chopped fiberglass strands, biaxial fiberglass fabric, sandpaper, polishing compound, wax and grease remover, mixing cups and sticks, paint brushes and rollers, safety goggles and gloves.
First, you'll want to sand down the damaged area to create a rough surface for the epoxy to adhere to. We recommend using a coarse sandpaper to start, and gradually working your way up to a finer grit for a smoother finish.
Next, you'll mix together the epoxy resin and hardener according to the manufacturer's instructions, and apply a layer of the mixture to the damaged area. Sprinkle chopped fiberglass strands onto the wet resin, and press the strands down into the resin with a brush or roller.
Cut a piece of biaxial fiberglass fabric to size and lay it over the chopped strand and wet resin. Apply another layer of resin to the fabric, making sure to fully saturate the fabric and chopped strand. Repeat this process for any additional layers, making sure to allow each layer to fully cure before applying the next one.
Once the epoxy has fully cured, you'll want to sand down the repair area to smooth out any rough spots. Finish the repair with polishing compound to restore the gloss of the surface.
By following these simple steps, you can easily repair the hull of your Yamaha Waverunner PWC. Remember to take proper safety precautions and work in a well-ventilated area. This cost-effective and long-lasting solution can save you time and money compared to professional repairs, ensuring many more years of safe and enjoyable water adventures.
So, don't let scratches and cracks keep you from enjoying your PWC - with a little bit of elbow grease and the right materials, you can have it looking like new again in no time. Thanks for watching, and be sure to subscribe for more helpful tips and tutorials.

Why spend all the time to produce a quality video only to put silly music in it so the viewer can't learn from the pro's. For F sake.
