    I added a 470 ohm resister to mine works great and still keeps the klipper board cool.

      @gerGoPrint3D  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, that's the simple solution, but the resistor will contribute to the thermal load of the system. So you'll have to find the balance between the extra heat and fan speed. I think at 45cent each (a little more with shipping, so better to order a few), this is a much more flexible solution, I was so happy for the adjustibility.

    I think klipper is a bit out of my league, but as ever a great video!

      Don't be intimidated by Klipper. It's an easy upgrade for SV06/Plus and makes these already amazing printers even better, quicker, smarter. If nothing else, an alternative to the finicky microSD card in itself is worth the upgrade.

      What he said. I just started on a Klipper printer (this same one) and it's been fantastic with the CV upgrades.

    nice!! what are the minimum rear free space requirements for the SVO 7+? Want to purchase a cabinet style worksurface to support this 3D printer. Thanks in advance!!

    • @gerGoPrint3D
      @gerGoPrint3D  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You will need 10cm extra space on the front, and 20cm on the back, since there you also need to accomodate the bed heating cable.

    Hi GerGO,as always great tutorial!I already order but I would like to ask one thing - I already print encloser for printer but I wanna get display out - can you help me how to extend wires (no cutting)?Thanks a lot!!Petr, Czech Republic

      Ahoj neighbour! If it's the SV06/Plus it's even easier, but with the SV07/Plus it's a regular USB cable going to the controller board under the bed, which you can easily replace with a longer USB cable (make sure to keep the shielding ferrite rings). Power could be a bit trickier, but I found the top USB-C port takes a regular USB charger, it might replace getting the power from the printer. Just print the variant of the case with the openening for top USB port. And if you print the GoPro style connection you will be able to find a GoPro mount (even a 3d-printable one...) that works well to mount your screen outside of the enclosure.

      @@gerGoPrint3D Hi, thanks a lot for anwer. Its SV07 plus. I would like to buy some extention cable if ist possible. On the displey lead two cable - one usb and other like jack or something. I am not good at soldering so extension cables will be best option for me, so if you will be so kind and recommend me some?Thanks a lot!

      @@PeteerStep yes, instead of the barrel power plug on the front left, I suggest powering the screen using the hidden, standard USB-C port on the top. Find the variant of my case that has the opening for this otherwise hidden port. You'll need to print both front and back pieces though... Read the description of the project on cults3D. This way you won't need to bring power from the printer to the screen, it can come from outside. You could plug a USB charger and the printer into a switchable power strip then a single switch can power on both your printer and the screen (and even some extra ventillation and lights if you want!)

      @@gerGoPrint3D ok thanks I will check it.And printer with screen there is no need some connection between them(for data exchange) - if I will power screen separatly,It will not be connected to main board (i dont know how is now)

      I just keep it as a backup if anything happens to the Klipper screen this printer has the ability to go back to Marlin.

    Mais avec une fan noctura tu règle pas directement ton problème des le départ?

    • @gerGoPrint3D
      @gerGoPrint3D  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you can find a 3010/4010 24V Noctua fan. But I think buck converter + cheap fan is a much cheaper solution.

    So... the printer is open source.. the cad is open source.. the firmware is open source.. but your mod needs to be purchased? Don't you think it would be better to keep stuff opensource when you yourself relay so much on opensource? How about releasing the case opensource? Yes.. its not alot.. but it is an opensource community.. right? I could easily make this opensource myself (wirhout buying you designs).. but then again.. i dont want to steal your thunder. I believe releasing thing opensource would net you more profit then not..

      You are partially right, and many of my models are free and all my content for free. I try to be as active and helpful in the community as I can. This particular project has a lot of work and thought in it. By asking for a few bucks I take responsibility and even update them from time to time.
