Around 14:30 where you address the lugs being round, they are designed to effectively climb rock faces by smearing where the more rubber contact you have with the rock, the better. These boots are modelled after the base TX4 model which are rock climbing approach shoes.

    Hi,
Question about sizing TX4. My foot length is 28.7cm. The insole length of size 45 is 29.5 cm, and 45.5 is 30vm. What is your experience about fitting this TX4? I know it depends of many things, foot shape and so on. We have to take care of to protect big toe from touching end of the shoes... How much space is there in toe box? Just your thoughts...
Ps. No options to try one, just to order online

It depends on the nature of your activity. If you are getting these for more trekking less mountaineering, you are better off with a bigger size (45.5) extra space, more comfort. Same goes for colder days out for ability to effectively layer for insulation. If you are doing more technical mountaineering, and the it is not cold, or too cold with in-out objectives, you probably want to go with a tighter fit for better precision. Hope this helps!

Hi. Would this be warm and good enough for EBC and Kilimanjaro? Thanks

Hi, thanks for your question! Assuming that you are not planning to summit in these, but simply use them for trekking to the base camps, yes, I'd say these are a good, lighter option, although keep in mind, these have no insulation, so no bad weather situations. Personally I do better with Salomons, so I would probably get something full size, insulated, like Salomon Winter CSWP.

I appreciate the review but it's clear that you do not know much about the boot, it's intended purpose(s), or the materials used/chosen.

The bottom of those boots have never touched any surface. Can't believe they were tested on the surfaces that are claimed in the vid.. Loss of credibility

I know it might be hard to imagine for a Hobo, but there is something called marketing and presentation. You test one pair and show the clean new one.

@@UltimateSurvivalGear Oh OK, my mistake. You're in the marketing business. I thought you were an outdoorsman and really used the stuff you get for free and hype. So how many pairs did you receive? I run 100 miles in my shoes unfortunately I don't have a sponsor to supply me with a nice new pair to show my friends. Typical TH-camr. You don't have to be a Hobo to see thru the sales pitch and hype. Carry on.
