This gtx obsession is dumb, especially for low cut shoes...more expensive, less breathable, heavier, taking longer to dry...only good for those rare situations where you can cross few inch deep water
Meh, I don't think the Hoka Anacapa 2 Low GTX deserves to be on this list. They're okay but not great for serious hiking. La Sportiva and Salomon are way better choices IMO.

salomon x ultra 4 gore-tex is the best shoe hands down. i've hiked over 1000 miles in mine and theyre still goin strong. love how u put em at #2

Salomon X Ultra 4 Gore-Tex is da best hiking shoe eva!!!! I wear dem everyday even when im not hiking lol. Good pick putting dem at numba 2!!!

hoka anacapa 2 low gtx is trash dont buy it. stick with la sportiva or salomon if u want good hiking shoes

I disagree with ur rankings. Salewa Mountain Trainer Lite GTX should be higher up. They're way better than the Hokas for sure.
