Excellent Work! You are so lucky to have your Uncle’s old tools to use and he is lucky to have you to make it all work. Loved the Max vids! He is wondering where his best friends are at. Please give him a treat for us.⛵️
Good work! Move the offset piece making vibrations on your sand sifting table from the electric motor shaft to an independent short axle/shaft with heavy pillow bearings and use 2 pulleys and a belt to spin it. By doing this your setup will last a really long time. With the offset on the shaft of the motor itself the bearings are taking a serious beating, as they were never designed to deal with that type of stress. By putting the offset on a different shaft your motor can do what is was designed for and spin a constant and even load. The other shaft will take all the abuse and this setup will work a lot longer and cheaper as the pillow blocks are a lot cheaper to replace than the motor itself. My guess is that the old motor you replaced was not on there very long and had locked bearings from prior abuse. The stress from the offset combined with ingesting a lot of dirt and dust as the internal cooling vanes pulled air through the motor caused a very premature death, Lol And yes, if you can find a way to keep dust and debris away from the air intake that would also make a big difference. I am impressed with the drive you guys have and I hope you are on the water soon!
Hi Guys That Blaster needs a name. I like The Beastie but on the other hand Maybe Damo To honour where the inspiration came from. The locker is looking great
What about the blastinator or blasty mc blast face or blast master funk? I think calling it Damo would be too weird if we got mad at it for not working at some point 😂😂
Sailing around the entire world, has to be such a natural, beautiful & amazing adventure, to behold. And I'm so glad that I found you guys YT Channel through a kind of fluke, while watching the Exploring Alternatives YT Chanel, that I also just subed to, a while ago. And I can't wait to watch your back catalog. Because, one the most unsettling things about yaucts & boats in my experience, were storms. Everything else barring the initial sea sickness, was sweet. Man, those things can really take on a different guise at sea though. So I'm Interested to know, if you guys filmed your first one & how you all handled it? So I can compare my little two second experience, to it! 😁
Welcome! Glad you found us through exploring alternatives! They are great! So far most of our storms have been experienced at the dock. We have big plans to head north but due to boat repair issues haven’t made it very far that way yet. Should be some bigger weather videos coming in the future once our refit is finished and we are back in the water!

HAha, great job! Insane job. Hopefully you will keep all this running and run it as a side business!
🙂
😂😂
I bet your glad that part is done!
Definitely a relief! However we still need to blast the new bulwarks and all around the deck and I can’t say we are looking forward to that 😂
I think you created that blaster with less hiccups than Brupeg, they would be proud.
@@209turtleboy it would have been nothing but hiccups without their videos. So happy we found them!
