I love that as soon as Ted pulls Jamie from the game, Roy is ready to give him a shot. As soon as they are back in the locker room and Ted goes to speak, he quiets the team down and tells them to listen, with zero prompting from the coaches. Thats what being a good coach, and good captain, looks like.
I always appreciate that ted drinks beer... he is so close to Ned Flanders, but he isnt and his drinking is just a great way to show he is a human being, just very optimistic

Watching this series multiple times is awesome. So many call backs and subtle character choices that have larger impacts later on. Very well written, edited and acted.
I love when he hits the believe sign, says so much without words! This is a bit of a random run on thought but I was trying to think of which shows gives me as much joy as this particular series. The only one I can come up with is the durrells (starring keeley hawes). Maybe it's just that the british do slightly gentle chaos very well 😂

So the thing about Benching Jamie and why it's such a big deal is because at the professional level, benching players isn't always up to the Head Coach/Manager of a team. It's often a decision by the General Manager and/or the Owner of the team. Star players are getting paid a lot of money to be on the field, bring in lots of ad revenue, and often are a big percentage of Merch sales. Owners want those players on the field regardless of their attitude, unless its obviously damaging the team image (and even then sometimes not), even if its making the team worse, especially if the team is not doing well. 9 times out of 10 a Coach would get reprimanded in private (sometimes publicly) by the Owner for doing what Ted did, even if it works out. And if it doesn't work out, well . . . a Coach might be looking for a new job real soon.
If yall love Keely you need to watch her in season 5 of Fargo. She is very very awesome in it. Fargo seasons can be watched in any order too if you decide to.
Before you hang on Michele, too much know that trying to be in a relationship with someone who refuses to look inward at their demons and just pretends to be happy constantly and then lashes out when they’re drunk… Is not a good relationship. Just cause we see Ted’s golden retriever side does not mean that that’s all that he is.

The moment where Beard shows up with a beer for Ted after he breaks up with Michelle is such a telling moment about their relationship. Just knowing and always being there. Beard and Ted's relationship is one of my favorites in this series. So subtle sometimes and you find out the loyalty reasons behind it later on as well.
Having had both scones and American biscuits, the former is sweeter and not as dense imo. There is some chewiness but it’s a bit more like cake - we put cream and fruit jam on top.
I used to do the open jar of peanut butter thing but it is a bad idea because peanut butter has a LOT of calories per gram and thus you can eat a shocking number of calories doing it.
Maple has to Visit Europe, everything looks this cute, problem is there are a lot of tourists in places like paris and london I would recomend doing a BENELUX (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) tour very clean, super nice peole wich most understand and speak english, but it is very flat, if you want something that will take your breath away its definetly switzerlands Alps and lakes

Jamie makes me laugh, I'm sorry. Maybe it's because I used to play soccer and I've followed the sport my whole life but nothing he does really pisses me off THAT much because there are tons of egotistical pro-soccer players out there.
That's exactly why I cannot stand football. The players, their lacl of respect for officials, respect for themselves, the entire "Diva" mentality is just horrible. Rugby is my sport and it's pretty much the only sport worth watching in my opinion.
