😅can relate, for a small thing that cost that much. but now owning one, it justifiably sums the purchase. man i couldv'e bought one years early if i was only aware how much the improvement.
@@rahma_dihann the plus side is no matter what Iems you get in future you have plenty of tip choice, where as if you flipped that and got bored or the iem your down $100+
The new Tangzu Tang Sancai (narrow bore version) is one of the best tips I ever used. It makes the bass very tight (more than the Final Audio Type E). The mids and treble aren't affected and remain transparent across the spectrum. The fit is very good and stick in your ears without hurting. Another thing to note is that the pressure release griping system is the only one that actually works among all the tips I've used to this day. (I haven't tried the wide bore version, so I can't say the same).
These eartips review needs to be made more since I've been trying to find more proper ones since different iems require different tips to fit in my ears
I think I just need the Fiio case 😆 I carry 3 Dunu cases filled with tips right now and even though they take up almost zero real estate in my backpack, it sure would be nice to have them all in one case. Fantastic video, Timmy! 😊
8:47, the fiio case has no pegs on the upper part, i can probably fit similar amount of eartips in 2 normal dunu cases. i wish dunu would make the s&s eartips in a cone shape
My favourites of all time are Divinus Velvet(normal and now the wide bore as well)+ Eletech Baroque. But imo divinus gives 90-95% of the same feel as baroque at very low price.
Hey @gizaudio what's your top 5 eartips recommendation that are blind buy worthy? Not for any specific purpose. Best overall. I prefer silicone or hybrid.
I got out of the tip game with custom ear tips. Mine are hard eartips for wide bore IEM. Isolation is excellent, comfort is top notch and I can wear them all day on my S12. Yes, they are more expensive than one pair of tips, but instead of spending a similar amount of money on eartips that will wear out, or will not fit you well, it's affordable.
@@karsten.boethling Custom eartips are like a quarter of the way to CIEM. The process starts with ear impressions as well, and the size of your IEM nozzle. The process for custom eartips is even more niche than with CIEM, since it requieres some skill from the technitian to make everything come together. In my experience, go for the hard acrylic ones, not the soft. Soft, custom eartips butcher the sound, acrylic, enhance it.
The most expensive ear tips I know are the JIJUJET & JIJUMA. And they have a really weird shape, and they say they give you a special soundstage. I haven't tried them so I don't know if they work.
I know the initial investment for these eartip molds can be quite high, but sheesh man, some of these eartip manufacturers charge a pretty penny for some silicone... The least they can do is offer variety packs! (some of them do)
@@oreozrelsion8818 it reduces the bass a bit but there's more clarity and details. Keep in mind that I use them on an Andromeda Gold I haven't used them on a $300 pair of iems yet.
I have tried so many types of ear tips and only the dunu s&s tips, spinfit w1, softears uc clear and just bog standard bullet shaped stock tips work for me. The dunu s&s and spinfit w1 are the best I’ve tried for me. The uc clear only works best for me on the blessing 2 and nothing else I tried it on
I can kind of see why you want variety packs to be available, but when only one of those sizes actually fits (maybe 2 for styles with half-sizes) it winds up going mostly to waste. For expensive sets, better to work out your size with variety packs from cheaper sets or sets coming with iems than spend a premium to use less than half of an expensive variety pack.
The issue with that is every ear tip is different. Size isn't standardized. A medium with one is a large with another. It usually isn't even standard brand to brand. The more expensive ones, especially, use weirder materials that affect fitment.
@@gavinbrichardson They pretty universally publish the measurements for each size, though, which can be usefully compared regardless of size naming issues.
They do show the dimensions and whatnot but I actually would want variety pack like M/ML or ML/L so you don’t waste the stuffs you know will never fit, but still get a size up and down for deeper or shallower insertion. Dimensions sometimes just don’t tell the story. My recent experience with Baroque L and Divinus Velvet ML is an example. Baroque is 13.3 mm OD while Velvet is 13.2mm. But in practice the Baroque fits noticeably smaller. So I guess the tips’ shape profile and material stiffness/softness all play together.
I'd rather it go to waste than buying 5 packs of something that doesn't quite fit and those also going to waste That tactic only works if there was standardized sizing which there isn't, which is how I came to wear Large Dunu S&S, medium spring tips, small and medium Sancai wide bores but large normal Sancais and then ML and L spiral dot++ Even though the dimensions are publicized, it doesnt matter because your ear decides how it fits well and not just sizing
"Easy to put on and take off" sounds like an unequivocally bad thing to me... Isn't literally the WORST thing about eartips when they keep falling off your earphones every time you touch them?
This could be more the iem bore issue than the tips. For example my SM4 has no ring around the bore hence some tips would remain in my ear when I take the iem out at a result.
It's a Symbio but comfortable. It does a good job reducing the external noise. Sound wise, it muffles the mids and treble. The bass gets too soft for my taste. I only recommend it if you want comfort and isolation.
I can tell you confidently no management group/production team/tech team is going to order the one with grooves. I shudder to think how much earwax those puppies can grab. I hope I never have to tech a pair of ears with those tips.
I have a big iem collection but without the right tip it is a waste of money because it will never hear the best of it so look at the price of the iem and then the price of the tip dont put the tip of the same price on a 20€ test the cheaper first😊
Is it just or ear tips are extremely overpriced. One should get at least 6 pairs for $10 in my opinion (2 pairs per size?), or a 3-pack under $5. KZ starlines and TRN T-tips are the only well priced tips in the market (other than generics).
fiio hs19. not easy to put them on an IEM, easy to take out. I've left only two foamy pair for myself. Others are in the case at the bookshelf as a part of interior. Got it for $8.5 as a new customer's bonus from a china market at summersale. Thank you for advice "don't buy, wait for annual sale or any celebration"
