Attempt at Gloss Black Wrapping My Sport Bumper Garnish (2017 Honda CRV)

- Finally decided to wrap the silver trim on the sport bumper black. Let me know what you guys think...silver or black?
My quick review of each product:
No-brand knifeless tape: It is cheaper than 3M stuff and it gets the job done but you have to be pretty patient with it. The filament on the end can be tricky to break off but if its for a small wrap job, its worth buying this unbranded stuff. If you have a large project you're probably better off buying 3M. **I've never used 3M so I cant provide a comparison between them**
Edit: I would recommend considering 3M because they seem to have it with prime shipping now, but they only sell in 50meters
Vvivid Premium Vinyl: I bought this one because Vvivid XPO was out of stock at the time. Its not as glossy as the Vvivid XPO but you cant tell the difference too much. In my limited experience, I find that Vvivid vinyl can be tougher to work with but its harder to buy small amounts of other branded and it gets the job done. I also find that other vinyls don't provide the same level of black that Vvivid does so it could be worth it for some people to use over a softer vinyl, but thats up for debate. XPO is back in stock as of this video posting, but if you don't care about the small difference gloss to much the premium vinyl I used is cheaper for the same amount.

It was a good attempt! The way to wrap this next time would be to wrap the deep inner parts first and then the rest of the part. You can actually wrap that entire outer piece by pre-stretching the material before applying it. Also for an area that requires so much stretch, I would suggest removing the protective cap to give you 10-15% more stretch. If there is a next time, give us a call and we'll guide you through it! I didn't expect a reply from VViViD Vinyls! Now I'm even more embarrassed of this attempt at wrapping 😂. Thanks for the feedback and the tips around wrapping this piece on the trim and working with your vinyl! I will definitely give it another shot wrap has done its time. Hands down the best looking and darkest gloss black in the market. Looking forward to working with the VViViD gloss black again and improving my wrapping skills in the future.

It's disappointing when something doesn't work out the way you envisioned it. I think it looks good regardless, it's a piece that no one would get up close to inspect, as long as it looks good from 10 ft away at least you're good hahaha. Looks good in black for sure!
Haha thanks for the feedback Kenny! Im gonna stick by that 10ft away guideline for a while 😂 diys dont always turn out the greatest but he great thing is that I can save a little more money for the next item and i can always redo it later!

Thanks! Got them from a local parts store. Theyre unbranded so pretty much the same as what you can find on ebay in this style
