Pi zero? We want pi 4
Yeah what a noob
I know a pi 4 would perform better than a pi zero but using a pi zero would be less bulky and cheaper (you could remove the headers and unused connectors from the pi 4, but do we really want to see them vandalize a pi 4).
So... This costs as much as a Nintendo Lite given day prices.
Honestly you might as well just hunt down a used Switch with the Tegra vulnerability (easy to check) and use that instead.
Yeah it's insane how good the switch looks compared to this one

Old PSP's and DS's have better hardware, cheap and run homebrew emulators.
PSP and DS definitely do not have more power than the Rpi3. The DS will not run PSX pr N64 games, but the cool thing about the PSP is that it has a native PSX emulator that will run most of those games just fine. PSP:Single 333MHz | DS dual 67MHz/33MHz | DSi Dual 133MHz/33MHz | Rpi3 Quad 1.2GHz
@@TheTJRod But a relatively old secondhand android definitely would? And would be soooo much cheaper even just to buy a Bluetooth controller with it. Also while an old PSP won't have better hardware it still will function reasonably ok for most emulations that this thing can also run.

Costs less than a console which you would spend much more money buying games for.
My pirated PSP can emulate everything I want. So no tnx.
I think a lot of people pirate ROMs because there isn't really a reasonable legitimate way to obtain many older console titles even in their original format let alone as ROMs. If game companies sold ROMs of their old games at a reasonable price, the piracy wouldn't be as rampant.
Honestly, the best emulator machine i found these days is Android phone + gamepad, you can basically play every game to gamecube, 3ds.

Yep - way before Jailbreaking an iPhone was a thing - this was amazing back then and worked pretty great.
Ah yes, the good old pandora battery and magic memory stick...
Doesn't read instructions and has a hard time building it
Linus: *I GOT THIS*
I think that this is a really cool product/kickstarter. Obviously there are all the issues that were explained in this video, and probably more, but I'd say that given the foundation they've already built with the emulator itself, they mostly just need to work on the buttons, case, etc. and then add some more "high end" features and this will be an incredible product. Once they fix the physical stability and ease of use a little bit I think I will definitely be interested in buying this.
nah the tiny computers world is so advanced, there is no excuse for some of the issues. And there is the big smartphone sized elephant in the room.
the problem is that we alread have companies with good retro gaming devices, like retroid, powkiddy and anbenic with the same price range, so if they dont get better quickly they wont survive in the market

He's known for breaking things, so this isn't exactly abnormal. I am disappointed that the screen didn't fry when he attached the ribbon because of that, but it appears the battery was discharged /enough/.
