Thank you for taking the time to make an in-depth beginners video. I have not ran a skid steer/CTL since 2001. Lots of things have changed. I am now in the laborers union and will hopefully be joining the operators union soon. I look forward to watching more of your videos. Thanks again!

Just a small correction regarding the hydraulic power on the curl and dump cycle. The power is on the curl and the speed is on the dump. The surface area is lower on the curl part of the stroke meaning higher pressure and slower speed for breakout force. The dump cycle of the stroke has more surface area against the piston providing the speed to dump quickly and less pressure. Great vid. I recommend these to all my new hires :)

Thanks for that explanation brother! That's really helpful to understand how that works.

On an excavator yes, but on a skid steer such as this Case power is on the extension and speed on the curl referring to bucket movement.

I can see I could use some editing tips from you. I would be interested in watching your editing process. Great job on this video!

Thanks! Adobe has a free editor for your phone that is pretty powerful. Takes a bit of time to learn but it is worth it.

I notice there’s a southeastern equipment logo on the machine. What area of Ohio do you work?

      I'm actually up in Michigan.

Diesel and Iron No problem, in the next video you should demonstrate all controls like pilot, h pattern, and hand foot if you haven’t thought about it already and possibly explain the benefits of having a 4 in 1 bucket over a general purpose and techniques you can use with a 4 in 1

@@wwryan My next video is a generic "in cab" tour but I love the suggestion. I'll start throwing together a video going over the different patterns. Down the road I'll definitely talk about 4in1 buckets and grading techniques. Thanks for the input!
