- On Wednesday, District Attorney Mike Schmidt conceded to his challenger. Nathan Vasquez isn't set to take office until January 1, giving him months to prepare while still prosecuting cases - but he has some idea of what he'll do next year.

I live in Albany. I used to love going to Portland for the weekend. Last time I did that was in 2018. I was born in Portland. My father had an office in the Multnomah Hotel in the sixties. It is a shock to see Portland now and an embarrassment.
I agree. I lived in Hermiston in the 70’s- 80’s…. Went we went to civilization several times a year (Portland), we always had a great time. Now I go to the Oregon Coast by way of the 205 and miss Portland on purpose.
You got this move the criminals back in prison. 30 thousand should never been released. Four murders in my area. Did they go to prison or just get their photograph taken?

Yeah Pat, didn't you just love the way that Vasquez kept blaming Mike for all the homicides & gun violence, when it was HE, who voted against the Gun Safety Measure 114? And i can't help but wonder how he's going to coordinate all his promised Community relationship "Building," while he's spending 90% of his time in the office?!

Do criminals care about gun laws or does disarming law abiding citizens the only thing that makes sense to liberals? I don’t think law abiding citizens and more laws to disarm anyone’s ability to protect themselves really works. But hey what do I know?
