Good talk. I’m retired military and have been saying for a very long time that the federal government needs to be reduced by 80%. Congress should have to give an up or down vote on every single regulation or rule that the executive branch prepares pursuant to laws that Congress has passed.

so, you spent your life participating in war crimes, supporting the corporate murder of millions around the world and now you'd like to tell the rest of us what to do. great.

The Right is incapable of uniting or agreeing on any solution. And that's why we have little to no leadership, and it's been that way for more than a century. The current conservative Right is the most sorry-ass party to ever exist, because they think they have forever to fix their country, so they're waiting for a perfect leader to show up and somehow make the right decisions while they oppose every real solution he offers, because it's either too inconvenient, or not exactly how they had hoped to go about it.

They also have all their buddies in positions of power. What happens when after the Article 5 they refuse to do what you want? Then what? This only ends one way...

Thank you for relieving this "naked" truth to us, we need to know. You are absolutely right. We live in a dark times, when truth is being perverted and, even, our legislative system is no longer impartial. If it continues like that - we - people and our country are doomed! I'm an old man that had the privilege to lead and supervise or years. I never forgot the wisdom handed down to me from seasoned leaders. Listen to everyone on your team, the one you think has the least input may say the one thing you need to hear. Never feel too good to pick up a broom, it keeps you centered. Learn to trust your people and delegate share some responsibility, people have a need to be valued. Some say I was too tough on people some say I was too lenient, but everyone said I was fair. I didn't blame when things went wrong or take credit for others accomplishments. My team earned more promotions than any other team. We were a team.

I love newt. Here's an interesting story, I started watching Newt Gingrich at least 40 years ago when he was teaching classes in college. I was living back at home still with my parents and maybe it was even 50 years ago and I was just intrigued and absorbed by his teaching politics. Then I moved out my parents home obviously, and got a real life. But I never lost my interest in politics. I don't know how old newt gingriches but this is a guy that I hope stays healthy and continues to give his lectures and wisdom to us for many more years!

Once in a while it matters doctors and lawyers in this day and age I think we want to vouch for a lawyer but a competency test should settle that plus a residency with a law firm.
