I ordered the new Tundra with the same options but I asked my dealership to put tow mirrors on. I had it ordered back in February and I'm still waiting. Glad to see you like yours!
Great vid! There’s a button to the left of your steering wheel that turns the automatic braking off. It’s the furthest right button on the cluster that includes the auto high beams button.
Drop your air before the trailer hookup then set it after. let the air be your friend. I just bought a 2022 Tundra SR5 without air bags. Let the sales person talk me into it. They should not even put receiver hitches on the airless Tundra's. Great power but coils and towing are definitely not a match made from wherever.
Configure your trailer on the truck so the truck knows you have one, that will eliminate the BRAKE alert you are experiencing. The SPA (straight Path assist) will aide in backing your boat up at the dock, but it has to be configured as well.
Agree, also with the SPA you can also do some manual input into the steering wheel to move the trailer into another direction. It doesn't have to be just Straight back.. ;)
Hey man, nice video! I'm looking at a Tundra as my first truck and was wondering what comes with the tow package that I see advertised. Can't find it on the Toyota website so I was wondering if you had that option.
Thank you! I think it’s a wonderful option as your first truck. From what I understand it boosts a higher towing level , larger inter cooler and transmission cooler and trailer brake controller. I’m not 100% sure as some of those might be standard. Mine also has auto height level air suspension and in my opinion this is a must when towing.
You got the wrong truck to pull that heavy boat Buddy. Notice the lighter rear axle than previous Tundras. Also note the ABSENSE of a trans cooler. 2022 TRD: the only thing missing is U.

Thank you so much for the comment. I’m going to give that a try!
Ford has Pro trailer back up assist for years now , i use mine all the time when camping .
The new tundras seem really nice.
Good video Young man!….Nicely Done ✅
Sweet setup!
Awesome review. I have a 23 foot Sanger wakeboat. Definitely don't need the tow mirrors then.
I wouldn’t recommend it. With the blind spot, these normal mirrors are great while towing!
Thanks for this video! Do you mind sharing what is the payload on the door sticker of the truck is?
Thanks for the video.

Update on MPG? Tow and normal driving?
Great video. Do the standard mirrors extend out like the tow mirrors &/or fold in electronically?
They fold automatically or manually. But they do not extend.
How’s the ride quality with the air suspension as a daily driver? Any follow up videos coming after more mileage ?
The Tundra Iforce max will tow even better. Way more powerful.
False. Towing goes down.

Good call! Will play with it and get it setup. Will update soon!
It would be awesome if you made a video going over your options and how much you pay for it?

I’d like to see the auto level feature on a leveled street. I want to see if there is a lot of sagging still.
Nice job sir!! Well done and very informative. Do you happen to know if there’s a transmission cooler? Thanks
NO cooler.
2022 tundra trd pro is not come with air shock automatic adjuster ?
New subscriber have same truck but in green and 2WD
That tv screen is way too big!!
