my predictions/wishlist of the secret wara wave: 1. Brown Costume wolverine 2. Kang (with the gun teased in one of the fanstreams) 3. Titania 4. Volcana 5. Updated Cyclops, Constrictor 6. Daredevil (hopefully they finally give us a single carded red costume daredevil) BAF (If they have): Beyonder
Constrictor and DD only related to SW through the original toyline, not the comics. Same for Electro (that Dave mentioned). . I think they should stick to the comic for this anniversary? They can redo those is other sets?
Beyonder didn't have a physical form until he came to Earth in Secret Wars 2. When he first comes to Earth he visits Molecule Man and Volcana's apartment in a composite body of various character he had kidnapped to fight the original Secret Wars. On Molecule Man's recommendation to help blend in while exploring Earth by copying a human body, and the Beyonder duplicates Captain America's form.

@@TysonMango19 X-Men 97 already has a big list of characters left still, like a classic Sunspot, a new Jubilee rerelease, a new Beast rerelease, Bastion. Additionally all the "new" costumes and such which they might rerelease/modify like Tri-Sentinel Marvel Girl and the classic Storm from the target 2 pack. Secret Wars, on the hero side classic Cyclops really needs a good rerelease. Though plenty on the villain side need good rereleases, ESPECIALLY the wrecking crew and absorbing man. Volcana and Titania too.

The moment I saw Japan, America and the 2 winged heroes battling around Tiamut - I was satisfied. Finally addressing the giant statue sticking out of the ocean from the Eternals movie.
In the comic, Sam got the super soldier serum through a blood transfusion. It's not a huge dose, but it's still a bit. As for the shield, the serum made Cap at peak human conditioning. Think about the Olympic level swimmer, weight lifter, gymnast, sprinter, etc all in one man, so yes his feats look superhuman, but Sam is a well trained former military officer not some random dude who picked up the shield
For Hulk? A well done classic, comic accurate Abomination, Harpy, and Bi-Beast are my most wanted. We need a Doc Samson too! But my most wanted Hulk villain would be Xeron the Star Slayer. Harpy my 2nd most wanted, and Capt. Cybor my 3rd fave.

I'm really dying for an accurately done presentation of Abomination, as he first appeared in the 1960s and also the 1970's, before they mutated him into some bizarre monster movie reject. If I ever win the Lottery big time, I'll pay Hasbro to release a Vintage Collector Obscure Characters line. Sssthgar, Mercurio the 4D Man, Xeron the Star Slayer, Capt. Cybor, Lion God, Darkoth the Death Demon, Corruptor, Hitman, Falcon (in his original green costume), Dromedan, Stellarex, etc. I love a lot of these obscure, forgotten vintage characters.

The next list is a mix of the 6 Secret Wars Hasbro will release on Saturday, between confirmed, spoken with my group of "experts" (there's some store owners in it) and my personal thoughts, not my wishes: -Kang: the weapon of Kang was confirmed the last week so ... -Titania: is already confirmed also, leaked by someone of Hasbro to my friend who owns the shop here in Spain. -She Hulk with the blue suit of secret wars 1984: Because of releasing Titania, and because it not exist a version like this, we think it will be a sure possibility. -Classic brown suit Wolverine: Because of Wolverine 50th anniversary, and the begs of the people. -Cyclops classic vintage suit. Because of the success of Xmen97, and because we saw the classic suit at the end of the tv show. -Iron Man 1984 secret wars with the head of Rhodey, who is the character which appears in that story: Because Hasbro is obsessed with releasing Iron Man figures always they can. Those are the most surely 6 figures they will release, but .... My wishes are different. Instead of Iron Man I prefer a 4 pack of wrecking crew, of course. And Volcana figure. But... Hasbro lately doesn't work a sh*t for give us what we beg, so i don't expect anything from them. This is my contribution to the viewers and to you. The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe says that Cap's shield is a mixture of adamantium and vibranium. Problem is, adamantium wasn't invented until decades after Cap got his shield. So in Capt. America #303, it was retconned that Dr. MacLain (who created adamantium) actually invented that metal while trying to replicate the metal of the shield and that Cap's shield was an alloy of vibranium and some unknown steel. In that issue they claim the shield is tougher than adamantium. I personally retconned it that the "steel alloy" that Dr. MacClain originally fused with vibranium to create the shield was in fact adamantium, which he unknowingly rediscovered later when it was introduced in Avengers #66 (when Ultron got his hands on it). So in my personal continuity, the shield is in fact an alloy of adamantium and vibranium after all.

In the Kirby era of Avengers Thor was 6’2” Same height as Ironman and Captain America It was only in the late seventies and into the eighties that Thor got head and shoulders taller than Cap Like how they do Hush and Knightfall for their main Batman characters and they seem to be doing death of Superman for the Superman characters They seem to be doing early issues Avengers

He is a great acto Anthony Mackie is a great actor I'm sure as an individual he's a great man but as Sam Wilson falcon I just felt like he wasn't pretty enough or big enough and as Captain America I just see a normal man because he has kind of a baby face but I totally feel they should have went with Bucky Barnes on a theater release Sam being Captain America in the comics was cool because it was just like a black revolution going on every character was becoming black so that was a good thing but the comics burned out and caps back but older because no one is Captain America but Steve Rogers and then if you can't get Steve Rogers Then then Johnnie Walker then Bucky Barnes then I'm going with Hawkeye
These figures were ok for their time. ...If they bring them back... they should drop the shields...give them articulation...and make them the same size as the Super Powers figures. Otherwise, ... they are a waste as far as I'm concerned...
True. But actually, he DID gain super-strength temporarily as a reaction to venom injected into him by Viper, starting in Capt. America #158, and by #218 they revealed that his super-strength was gone and he was back to his normal levels. I'd have to check, but I'm pretty sure they stopped showing him using that super-strength earlier than Cap #218. But officially, from #158 to #218 they gave him super strength. I never liked that.
I'm not at all excited about a Secret Wars wave. I hated Secret Wars. It was stupid and ushered in the age of the company-wide crossover, which was a very bad thing. I thought the Beyonder was an idiotic character. Using simple logic, he could only be as powerful at Eternity. This series also ushered in the age of continual, ridiculous power escalation. Just utter ridiculousness. As for ML, I certainly don't want a Beyonder figure, and virtually every character that appeared in Secret Wars has already been released a hundred times or so. So what new characters could we possible get? Titania? Boring. Volcania? Or whatever her name was. Boring. I guess we could potentially get an entire Wrecking Crew out of the wave, but I seriously doubt it. Hasbro has burned up all the goodwill they had with me that started out good in the beginning of 2024. But, you never know. I'll have a far better opinion of Hasbro if we get the Wrecking Crew. But I can't get excited about this wave. Hell, there may not even be any Secret Wars characters in this wave, considering the Strange Tales fiasco. It's late and I'm cranky over missing the live stream with the power outage so I guess it's bedtime. LOL!
