    I was very impressed by the amount of information this video contained, so excellent job there! I was a vet tech for about 10 years. However, that's been nearly 20 years ago, so I certainly can appreciate the once over of the key terminology prior to the breakdown of each category. I also found significant benefit of the videos that accompanied the examples of each diagnosis. Thank you for such a valuable contribution to the vast expanse of information available via youtube!! I hope that I'm not the only one that is grateful to be able to access this type of information free of charge! I look forward to checking out your other videos, keep up the good work!!!

    My young dog was sent to neurology, and an MRI was ordered. I ended up using this video to a differential diagnose to get a sense of what I was dealing with. The diagnosis I made based on this lecture was exactly what the MRI showed (AA instability). Also your videos gave me insight in the best course of action and statistics on recovery, this made it so much easier to talk to the neurologist and make choices. Keep up the good work!

    Very enjoyable presentation. Just started taking Cupido there and he’s starting steroids. He’s a Shih Tzu. Hopefully it helps and we will re-evaluate. This is helping with my human medicine studies. Very similar except this was presented better than I’ve seen in school. Thank you!

    Thank you so much ....at 1:15 I found my dog's issues and already against advice, with therapy ( at home ) he is regaining use of the left leg and 8 days later walked with help ( I have to hold his leg up as it has a wound which probably started the whole downfall last week. He is 15 years and 3 months plus, been active all his life . Had a couple of wobblies in the past aged 12 and 13 ( vestibular but he recovered quickly once medication was stopped ). We have been walking miles most days . I am extremely careful with his limbs as I too have arthritis and I know how it is for him poor old thing . But he is recovering and hopefully like Nolu he will be running again ( he is trying on 3 legs but I have to restrain him due to not completely sure if it wasn't anything more sinister . Fact that he has no pain makes me think it's not a disc issue . Thank you so much Dr Wong . Looking for tips on home therapy & massages ...

    Thank you so much, so important for pets owners to watch the video . I will like to bring my dog to your hospital. and I will love it for you to do the surgery for my baby. She is 12 years old female Pitbull mix , she has a tumor removed about 4 months ago and now she can’t walk on her back legs. My vet did it the Ext rays and tell me that she see problem with her back disks but I need to go to specialist to do the MRID .

    If a dog kicks back when testing withdrawal (withdraws then kicks) is that considered voluntary motion or still just part of the withdrawal reflex?

      Hi Kenbert,
      We are so sorry to hear your pet is going through this. Unfortunately, in order to give clinical advice, our Neurologist would need to evaluate a pet through a consultation. At that time, treatment options and recovery could be discussed. We are here for you if you need us. To find a location near you visit us online at sevneurology.com.

    Hi! I am an animal rehab therapist from Singapore. I was wondering if I could get some advice on a patient of mine: Husky, 10 yo. Was limping on the left pelvic limp but gradually progresses to paraparesis on both pelvic limbs. The pelvic limbs are sensitive to touch, reflexes are still present and is often in a contracted and extended manner. We were not able to get a proper diagnosis from the vets hence we hope we could get more insights from you. Thank you so much!

    Will Spinal disease cause voice change ?thanks!

    • @SEVNeurology
      @SEVNeurology  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      hua elsie Great question. We more frequently see voice change (hoarse, weak or higher pitched) with problems affecting the nerves or muscles as opposed to spinal cord disease. What kind of dog do you have, how old, what are the symptoms, how long have they been going on?
