One suggestion please: Step back. When you show the finished product on a level with new shoes, step back so we can see the side view from about 20-30 feet back. Up close does no justice to see how the entire truck sits. The most important part of the video is the finished product and you don't show it but from a close distance and an angle. Everyone looking to sow how it looks "level" can't see it. But, thank you for the in depth way you showed how to remove all the subparts to assemble in case we are doing it at home. Cheers.
I love the look of that tire and wheel set up. These strut spacers are so much nicer than the preloaded kits because your stock shocks don’t require extra spacers to avoid over stretching.
Steve, I have been beating myself up on getting new rims and tires for my 2019 Ram this is the type of video I needed to decide! Great video! Thanks!! Stay safe bro, from the Burgh!!
I put the Bilstein 5100 2.5” leveling struts on my 2012 1500 and I am very pleased with them. Had spacers on before but took them out and swapped for the Bilstein. Much better ride and the perfect amount of lift in the front. Not sure if they’re out for the 2019 yet, but definitely check them out for the rebel.
I got the the same Moto Fab level in the 2.5 inch . They don’t have coilovers out yet that I’ve seen. The ride isn’t bad with the leveling kit. I wish I had a good shop around me to work on my truck.
Luis Ulloa It’s not a rough ride with the level kit. I noticed more of a change in ride when I put a Duratrac tires on. It could also be all the potholes here on the Illinois roads.
Luis Ulloa , if you only put on the leveling spacer kit, only change you will have is due to a center of gravity change. There is no change to the spring rate or amount of travel. Start adding wheels and tires as well and you cannot tell what change made the ride different
Great video. I just bought my first RAM last month. It is a 2019 bighorn with the blackout package and led lights. I seriously love this truck. I am considering a lift with tires and wheels in the future. I just subscribed and can't wait for more of these type of videos. Thank you!
i know this is an old video but it was my inspiration for my rig last week...nittos, ballistic rage 20x10 -19mm...motofab 2.5, RC running boards.... thanks brother
Mopar Rock: Did you do your wheels and tires? I was thinking of doing the same exact wheels 305/55R 20s and a 2" Mopar leveling kit for my 2020 Warlock. Just wondering how you made out? If you have factory flares or not and what's the "poke" of the tires from the fender? Thanks!
@@jeffshultz3883 unfortunately I cannot post a picture here. Also the “poke” is slight maybe a couple inches but it turned out perfect. Looks awesome. Just added the bakflip tonneau cover and bedrug.

I appreciate your time to reply and your help is valuable. Thanks! You're truck is very very nice!
These guys are good. That leveling spacer setup wears out fast unless u change the upper control arm. The geometry is off. Bad angle on the ball joint. I don’t care for that method. But customer wants it right.
Thanks for taking us along. Often think about leveling my 17 Ram, just worried about throwing out the geometry and premature wear. I don't know a hell of lot about this stuff lol. Anyway, Good luck in a year and half, hear's to 100k subs by then ;)
What’s wrong with doing top hat spacers Obviously the only concern is the UCA at this point but if u install say a RC UCA rated to a 6”lift and Motofab 2” or 3” top hat spacers would that be proper or still something wrong with that
It's so hard to figure out what offset to go with. I've seen from -12 to -24 I just want the tires to line up with my factory fender flares or just slightly past. 2014 Laramie
I'm assuming it's not a issue that you have to rotate the strut 180 degrees for the new spacer bolts to line up??? So the strut is going back on in the opposite direction???
I am doing al most the same setup with Fuel Vapor rims 20x10R20 -18. Can I ask - Can you put 33x11.5 on this rim or would it have to be 33x12.5? I think thinner is better for the snow and turning.
@@BEASTProjects probably ..its really hard to find good shops around to work on your truck... but i just traded my 2014 for a 2019 bighorn loving it so far!
Great video…very informative! So you say this is not the route you’re going with your Rebel, can you share how you’ll lift the Rebel? Just curious, that’s all. I just saw a video of a Mopar 2” lift kit, any experience with this kit? Thank you.
Just purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 2wd new body style and I plan to put on a 2.5 front leveling kit with 35x12.5 tires on 18x9 wheels! Does anyone have any knowledge as to if this would cause any rubbing? If so what can be done to combat that issue? Also, will I absolutely need to purchase to control arms? And why? well there went the warranty out the window a dealer will not even consider touching it with that type of lift kit they wouldn't even work on mine because I had 10 inch wide rims on it
Thats shitty...my dealer where i bought my 19 has always been good about anything warranty related. And i have these exact spacers and no muffler on my truck. It really depends on the dealer. If they wanna be dicks they can be
Hi, I stumbled across this video last night. Great video 👍 My local shop will be installing the 2” ReadyLift billet spacers on the front end of my 2018 Ram 1500 next month. Question for you (sorry new to modifying) Should I also get the shop to install the ReadyLift UCA’s or will the spacers be good enough? Thank you...
Steve, the consensus on using these on a 4th gen is that they ruin the ride, and its "The Cheap" way to level it over using a set of say Bilstein 5100 adjustable struts. Could you ask the fellas there why these spacer kits work on the 5th gen, and not so well on the 4th gen? Yours isn't the first channel I've seen on doing the space on a 5th gen.
Travis, it’s the customer’s preference. It won’t be the direction that I will be going with the Rebel. I’ve had the Bilsteins on my 2012 1500 & liked them.

i would like to the part where he cut out the inside of the fenders. i have same exact whiles and tires and size and i cannot barely turn.
Doesn’t the strut have to go back in the same orientation in , I noticed the shock was turned around 180 degress

Looking (images, videos) at Dodge trucks with the lockable bed storage, it looks to me that a canopy can't be installed?
Will it rub if you put 20x10s with a -22 offset instead of -18 with the same tires and leveling kit
