I just joined 5thGenRams and noticed your truck right away. It is effectively a perfect build. I dont think I would do anything different, except maybe paint color. Thats just being nitpicky though
Hey man thanks so much that means a lot! Haha I would change the paint color too if I could. I still love white, but I’m bored of it. If I could’ve got the Built To Serve grey or orange that would’ve been sweet!
May have already been mentioned, but car windows are more sloped allowing more light and heat to enter the vehicle compared to most trucks which have a more upright window. I'm sure the tint helps, but...
@5thGen_Corey they sure do, I put one in. Had to come back and edit this. Mine has 6 buttons, 3 buttons for traction and parking sensors and 3 for auxiliary
Very nice man. I currently have a gen 3 2500 and it's been the best truck but when I go look at gen 5 I always realize it's not a real ram anymore. They look good just when inspecting these trucks I see a nightmare in 5 years
An 06-07 2500 with the 5.9 has been really high on my list lately actually, it would be sweet to do a Carli Dominator suspension with fiberglass fenders and 40” Toyos. What makes me hold off is obviously the prices on fairly low mileage ones is crazy right now and I know I’d have to drop a good 15k minimum into trans/engine upgrades to get it where I want it. I think these 5th gens are fairly reliable overall, especially ones like mine that aren’t fully loaded with all the lane keep assist/blind spot/electric door handles and stuff. The new ‘25+ ones look bad ass on paper but man those seem like they could be money pits if stuff starts to go wrong with all the tech they have & the hybrid powertrain!
@5thGen_Corey totally agree man. I had some gen 3 and currently running a 2008 ram 2500 5.7 and honestly I bought at 18k with 100k miles and put some serious work into it. But parts are so cheap. Yet invested a good 8k into it from suspension to engine work and this truck is a beast. If you get into 3 gen stay clear from the 48 and 68 trans unless you want to invest a ton of money. I'm running a 545 trans and I swear it is solid trans
@@chadjohnson7544 nice! Yeah unfortunately the automatic diesels only use the 48rf those years and it’s about $8k to get a built one to handle 500-600hp. Then fuel pump, injectors, 2G turbo swap, and some other things that’s like another $8k. Dominator kit and wheels and tires another $17k lol. Plus I’d want to do a completely custom interior. It adds up way too fast lol
Hahaha yeah from the rear it looks like a 2500 with the bumper dump exhaust and the 6’4 bed. And trust me if it was a 2500 then deleting it would be my first choice haha
@@Broncos-23 yes all the topographic print is vinyl but all the orange trim where it was normally silver is painted. I used VHT burnt copper paint. It’s high temp paint which isn’t ideal for plastics since the paint needs to be heated up to cure, but I skipped that step and it’s held up well for the most part! I just loved the color so that’s why I stuck with it
That looks amazing so just to be sure you did that same paint with the seats too ? I’m getting the ignition orange ram 1500 and want to do this and I already had similar vinyl like that saved haha glad to see it looks good
@@5thGen_Corey my bad I had 2minutes left on my lunch when I saw your video so I flew through it. Did you install your front camera or did it come with the truck
I'll be honest, I was skeptical about listening to a guy who tucks his ears into his hat. However, you did give me some good ideas.
My ears and hats don’t agree lol gotta tuck them or else they stick out
Just got my 5th gen youve got my follow!!!!

This channel needs way more subscribers!! 👌🏼👍🏼
Every video makes me want to spend money on my rebel
Hahaha mission accomplished then 😂 at least most of these weren’t too expensive!

You forgot a rifle 😅
Ram makes a switch panel that replaces the switches next to the trailer break with 8 push buttons.
Not for 1500s

Have you had the issue with parksense being temporarily unavailable or the service shifter issue?
Only when I had a pedal commander installed

Yeah! It’s been like 2 years I think and they’re still good as new
@@5thGen_Corey great, thank you very much, did you just use the double sided tape or screw them to the frame?

Perfect, thank you!
Nice ride how or where did you get the orange interior on the dash and doors
I painted it all!
And thanks!

This doesn’t
