I got a '21 bighorn 1500, with 4x4 offroad package so it has the same 1" factory lift. No fender flares like the rebel. I'm thinking of going 285/65R20s on the stock 20x9's. I think they end up being 34.6" diameter x 11.2" width. Apparently they should fit without any rubbing with the 2" front level kit.
As long as you have the level kit you’ll probably be ok. I had a very minor rub with the 35s which was easily resolved with a tiny trim. Can’t go wrong either way!
@@dwayne1887I also got some borla s type muffler it’s amazing but the tires I need to figure out I have the air suspension I want to see what the biggest I can get
Correct, the upper control arms with this setup dont need to be changed out. Typically you would need to change them out if you did a full lift kit, but w/just a leveling kit most kits allow you to use your existing control arms. I haven't had any issues, its been driving great since install!
The truck looks great! Looking at putting a bilstein leveling kit on mine to fit 35’s. I was curious if you switched out your upper control arms or left them stock? And if you have any recommendations for them. Thanks!
I did not change the upper control arms as it was not necessary with the bilstein 6112 kit. I know a typical lift kit usually has the puck and control arms primarily because you’re adjusting the height over 3 inches but with this particular application the control arms did not need to be swapped. I love mine and have had zero issues since application, still rides fantastic!
I havent had any rubbing since trimming back behind the front mudflap. I'm not sure on exact cut length as it was just cut back enough to clear the tire. Could've been closer to 1/2 inch. Just know it needs a small trim but now I can go full lock both ways with no issues at all.
How’s the performance running 35” tires? I’m thinking about going with 35” tires on my Warlock, but I want to know how this will affect performance, gas mileage, etc?
Performance is virtually unchanged. You might notice a small difference in throttle response if you go with much bigger wheels and tires but not much different. Ride is still very nice (largely depends on what kit/tires you choose) but the MPG took a 1-2 mpg hit but not crazy.
@@MelvinDoringuez I did not make adjustments. At about 70mph it’s roughly 5mph difference. Wasn’t enough to make me feel like I needed to adjust it. Also if I ever go back to stock wheels and sell it I won’t have to worry. Good luck, I’ve enjoyed mine so far!
Those decals are from the factory. I bought it used so the decals were already applied. I think they provide just the right contrast to the black paint with the black matte badging
Hey Dan, N. Texas here also, (Coppell) what shop do you recommend in our area. I too have the 2020 Rebel, S&B CAI, and plan to add a Pedal Commander. The wife has a new 4Runner TRD Pro, and the Pedal Commander I put on her's is night and day.
Both of my Rams I had done at All Out Offroad Performance in NRH off 820 and Rufe Snow. Good group of guys that walked me through all the different options I had. They did very good work and priced well. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else to have work done on suspension or for wheels and tires.
Picking my 2023 up from the dealership in less than a week, super exited and appreciate the figment and tire info. I ran ridge grapplers for years an feel the same way and will probly go with the Recon on this Rebel. Great video. One question, how has your fuel economy been with the truck after the mods?
Previously I was around 16 / 18. With the front end level kit, larger wheels and tires it dropped to about 13.5 / 15.5. If you drive gingerly you can get 15/17 on the new setup but I think we can all agree thats just no fun lol. Just remember, its smiles per gallon in these bad boys! :)
my 22 came with factory installed bilstains and air ride it sits high on normal setting ,on off-road settings goes up even more up but i like exiting mode it drops like low rider great truck
All the Rebel trims come with factory Bilstein shocks, I just upgraded them to level out the front. Very jealous of the air ride, I've heard good things!
The small plastic mud guard behind the front wheels had to be removed in order to trim to fit the 35" tires. No factory mud guards on the rear and I wont be adding any myself.
Beautiful build! Going to do exactly what you did to my 2020 Rebel
It’s been great so far! I’m sure you’ll be happy.
Appreciate the video. I'm currently installing a 35" wheel and tire kit through my dealership. Videos like this help a lot.
Glad it helped, that’s what it’s all about!
This truck looks very rebellious! Seriously, love the look.
Helps a lot. I have a Rebel GT and want to run 35s. Your set up is very similar to what I want to do.
Thanks for the video.
Glad it helped!
Thanks! Just got a 2024 Rebel and I have been trying to figure out what to do, this is exactly what I want to add, really helped!!
Glad I could help. Hope you enjoy the new Rebel!
Exactly the look I am going for on my 2019. Think I'll be going with the same wheels and tires. Your truck looks great! Thanks for the vid.

This is exactly what I plan on doing to my Rebel. Going with the Bronze 20” Rebel wheels, but great info on the Recon Vs. Ridge Grapplers. Thanks man!
I went back and forth with the bronze vs the black over and over before ultimately settling on the black. Cant go wrong either way!
Nice truck Wayne, hey brother that cold air intake really is a beast in its own right. I love the sound it gives when punching down the pedal
I was pleasantly surprised with how much of a growl it added to the motor and still gives the engine bay a splash of personality.

Dope set up! What running boards are you running? Love how minimal they look.

I attached a link below. I searched for awhile to try and find something low profile because I wanted something tucked up and less noticeable.
Bad Ass !!!! Gonna start on my 2021. Info you provided is perfect for what I need and want on mine. Thanks !!!! Go Rebel !!!!
Glad it helped, good luck!
I got a 21 Rebel and dreaming about that bilstein level kit. Yours looks great! I'm about to install cold ait and exhaust very soon.
Thank you. The Bilsteins ride great, no noticeable difference from factory. Lots of CAI options, I've enjoyed mine.
That offset is perfect. I'm with you on some trucks where they stick way out there and it looks ridiculous. Nice truck man 🤜
Thank you sir!
Great video! well thought out and touched on the key details. Nice job Bro 👍 Truck looks SiCk 💯
Thank you sir, I’ve enjoyed it!
Awesome truck! Thanks for sharing
Thank you!
I do like your set up.
this is my dream rims and tires, i will order for my rebel soon, thanks bro
They really completed the look I was going for!
Nice set up. I don't offroad so I plan on using the Bilstein 5100
Thanks for the detail info on the mods, great vid
Thank you!
How have your UCAs held up? I see you didn’t change those

Love the video, can you provide link for fog light covers?
Of course!

should i trim extra 1/2" instead of 1/4? any rub on bouncey turn?

Hello Dan. truck looks awesome!!! Does your truck fit in your garage, taking in consideration your SiriusXM antenna. let mw know. thank you
Need to clear out the garage first haha. But I will check back once I try and squeeze it in there!
Hi Dan I have a question. The hood and bed decals did the truck come from the factory that way or did you put them on?
Those decals are from the factory. I bought it used so the decals were already applied. I think they provide just the right contrast to the black paint with the black matte badging

I also have the 6112s with the stock wheels and tires. Did you notice any ride difference going from the stock 18" setup to the 20"?
No ride difference really. I feel like I can tell they are heavier wheels from throttle response but the ride quality is virtually the same.
Looks nice. Curious if you know what the height is front and back if you measure from the ground to the top of the wheel well
I have not ever measured from ground to wheel well. Apologies for not having the info.

How Much did the level kit and wheels run you, im assuming 3-5K
About $5k total (all new). Wheels were about $2k, tires about $1800, level kit about $1200. That includes installed

What is the tire size of this truck?
The tires are 35"
