Always great content 👌 I saw a TH-camr combine wire wool into the melted plastic with the staples and did a weight stress test against other plastic welds and it produced the strongest fix 💪
I recommend EVERYONE who has an older car or is a DIY:er around your house to buy one of these plastic staplers! Bought mine from Amazon for around $25 and have made a LOT of repairs on my car, the seats on a kids swing, a cracked box in the freezer and more. The repairs gets really atron a nd sturdy. -JUST DOOO IT!!! 😘
Love all the videos I had a unit for alloy repair but going mobile any advice on battery powered or electric sanders I see you use the malwaukee sander any good? And what would be the smallest quiet compressor for painting just doing small repairs on wheels? Nothing more than half a wheel. Keep up the great work love all the videos have been watching from your first video always looking for tips 😊
Absolutely fantastic work and reasonable price too, I’d pay that for the same repair. Could’ve done with you when I collected a badger in my front bumper and it split (the badger was fine he was still in the bumper when I pulled up). Let’s hope he isn’t a car guy that watches TH-cam.
Great great skill mate....Very cheap at that price. I would have charged $ $485 NZ for that, new bumpers here are $800 raw, then you to paint them...Cost $1100 here....
Depending on the car make, model and year, it is something that has to be considered when opting for a bumper repair or replacement. It's often hard to source a good quality bumper which isn't already really damaged. It will also take alot of basecoat to colour change if it's a different colour (like most will be).
IF you can get a good one in the same colour then yes. I have found this easier said than done though. Also, the young girl had bumped into her dad's porsche and needed it repairing before he returned from a trip away 🤣💀
A freezing Friday and you treat us to your awesome videos thanks mate love watching
Grab a beer or a cup of tea and chill out 👍🏼
Great job but I do prefer your commentary rather than the music.
Trying to appeal to a wider audience mate, perhaps some none engllish speaking viewers 👍🏼
Yep music is awful
Just turn the volume off 🤷♂️
@bluezorro999 Hi did do that but just saying I like to hear him explain what he is doing.
I could watch these videos all day.
Keep em coming
Good I'll make more then
I’ve been looking at plastic repair tools recently in preparation for fixing my plastic kick panel on my ‘65 Mustang.
You can pick up a hot stapler really cheap.
Always great content 👌 I saw a TH-camr combine wire wool into the melted plastic with the staples and did a weight stress test against other plastic welds and it produced the strongest fix 💪

The £280.00 you said you charged was more than very reasonable. An excellent repair without the customer having to be without a car for a few days.
She was distraught her father would find out when he got back from his trip abroad! I had his porsche to fix that she bumped into straight after 🤣

Proper job! May I ask how much do you charge for this kind of repair?
Class
Cheers mate
Quality work. How much would this have cost roughly ?
I think i charged £280 at the time. This was 4 years ago approx (2022)
@cvrpov that's a really good price. Fantastic work

I think now after the c19 you might be looking at double the cost nowadays. Materials are double. Thanks for the comment
I like to watch things done properly, these days that's not as common as it should be.
Just a comment for the algorithm ❤
Hey 👍🏼
Nice. Bet that cost the customer a few bob. Time consuming!!
We worked out it was the best option instead of replacing on this occasion
The costumer might pay a couple hundred dollars less for the repair, if paying for a new bumper by opting for the repair would be my guess

Wow so much work goes into this…. Bargain at that price.
Completed in half a day. You have to really crack on (pun intended)
Great video but that music 🤮
Turn it down ha. Cheers
I mean realistically would it not have been cheaper to find one at a breaker or ebay
Should note this, I enjoy your content and skill involved to do this but just wonder on the cost
IF you can get a good one in the same colour then yes. I have found this easier said than done though. Also, the young girl had bumped into her dad's porsche and needed it repairing before he returned from a trip away 🤣💀
Hi, what was the black stuff you heated and ironed in the gap?
Plastic welding rods..you can get different plastics
