I like seeing the 6 seat configuration with the Duramax, ordered a new 1500 LT in February and could not configure any Chevy 1/2 ton diesel without getting the console. The console is growing on me and the electronic shift is actually really nice. I like seeing that at least one snuck out with a column shift though!
I have the 2019 LT and 2022 new interior is a huge improvement. Personally 1st gen exterior front fascia looks better for the more aggressive look. The new front seems to scaled back and too conservative like every other truck. Moving the bow tie higher looks odd to me.
I really like the refreshed 2022 Silverado design inside and out. The dash is awesome. I think the exterior is a little cleaner than the Sierra although it looks good too. Good job Chevy!
All vehicle prices are going up thanks to TH-cam comment section of people that say they'll get whatever vehicle is being featured but don't have 10 bucks in bank.
I have something I hate about the suspension on the z71 is because it has those shocks you can't equip the max trailering package with the z71 package. So I kind of hate it a little because it takes away from the uniqueness of the Trail Boss in a sense and it also hinders the idea that the z71 package is just a mild off-road package that can be asseted by a Max towing package unlike the Trail Boss.

Why do they call this the “baby Max” when GM equips the Colorado/Canyon with a 4-cylinder 2.8L duramax? I always thought the 3.0 LM2 was the “mid Max”.
@@NicholasA1747 totally true. Or a little more than that to get a 2500. I wanted the 3.0 Duramax with a 40/20/40 front seat but also all of the tech. So an LT was the way to go for me.

I am about 15 months and 15k mi into ownership of a the 3.0 AT4. It’s been flawless and great mileage for a truck imho
I ordered an 5.3 LT Z71 in February and after watching these videos, I’m excited to see and drive my new truck when it gets here.
How’s the truck running today? Any pros and cons?
Another great review.

Don't like diesels anymore because of DEF system. On my semi truck 80% problems are connected with DEF.
Trail Boss is lifted front and rear. The Trail Boss doesn't have the E lockers, the ZR2 does.

you would think Chevy would avoid 'Ford blue' for a vehicle color. (I know its not the exact shade, but close)

Is it real wood or faux wood?
So did GM remove the Fog lights for some 22 refresh models ? Or did I miss it?
I think on Custom and LT models you get no fog lights. I'm not sure there is a option for it. Notice the high end Tahoes don't even have fog lights
Yeah this is the LT model (RST) trim is where you get fog lights.

I got mine last week, no issues yet, starts right up, hopefully it stays that way.
that was a software issue, and if you had the issue they would update the software to fix the problem
