Hades’s plan with the Wish Seed solidified him as one of the greatest villains ever. He played Pit and Palutena right into his hands and even made it obvious by coming up with a bogus wish just so he could rub it in their faces that he won
I was ecstatic when I found out that the game wasn't over at 9 levels. Would have felt like a total rip-off at $40 when I got it, and I actually finished Medusa's series on a 3 hour airplane flight, so you can guess how angry I felt before Hades showed his handsome(?) mug.
So, Chugga’s sadomasocistic in such a way that he loves jerks (to him *OR* to others). I mean, in Chapter 2, he also compared Palutena to Jon, for this exact reason. 🤔

The dialog in this game probably hits its high point once Viridi enters the mix. Between Palutena, Hades (my favorite as well), and Viridi all bouncing off each other, the chapters following Chapter 11 are the best part of the game by far. Can't wait.

You know, Uprising here had seemed pretty "meh" to me up to this point. Not great, not terrible. just a pretty solid shooter/beat'em'up. Hades is seriously making the game right here. It's all been worth it. I don't think I've seen a villain so damn entertaining since GlaDOS
What I find interesting is that the guy who plays Hades, S. Scott Bullock, has played numerous one-bit parts in many cartoon series- Danny Phantom, Darkwing Duck, Talespin, Teen Titans, and many others. All of them with him playing bit parts that you'd never imagine him being Hades at all.

And then the damn clubberskull woke up.
This is a risk and reward enemy. Once you wake and defeat the clubberskull, it drops either a weapon or a power. I do that a good number of times. It's risky, because the clubberskull has a lot of health and take a lot of damage. At the same time, it's rewarding, because it sometimes drops a weapon or power. The best effective way to defeat the clubberskull is use the Exo tank and dash through it.
I like how chugga thinks flying into an active mamga field with lava flying everywhere thinks it's beautiful I'm sure he'll keep that mindset when his wings burn off
Man, you just know S Scott Bullock was having the time of his life recording these Hades lines. Hades delivery is amazing in this game. He's one of the better portrayals of a sadistic, yet almost flamboyant psychopath.

In this chapter, the two mimicuties drop items. The first Mimicutie after activating the switch to lower the platform, it drops a killer eye. That's a new item and very useful against the guttler.
Hoo-boy! Kill the Phoenix, and war breaks out! Ignore the Phoenix, and he'll roast everything in sight! Either way, Hades gets more poor unfortunate souls to play with! Gotta love the 'ol Xanatos Gambit!
I find it weird that Palutena orders Pit to kill the Phoenix. Yeah, it’ll get reborn, but wouldn’t it be strategically safer for Pit to help the Phoenix fight off the Underworld forces? Knocking the Phoenix out of the game could create an opening for someone to pull a Ganondorf by swooping in and stealing the Seed after making our hero do all the hard work.
I don't love to hate Hades... I love to love Hades! He's cunning, sophisticated, intimidating, and evil. I'm a big fan of those types of villains. (Jafar, Shere Khan, and Maleficent) And chapter 11 aka the introduction to my favorite character in this entire game...

Either two things, 1. Even though the Wish Seed is a fake, either the Phoenix believed it was real and didn't want Pit to take it, or he saw Pit as a threat and wanted to fight him. On top of that, when Hades brought in the idea of the Wish Seed, you know Pit was excited about it, yet when Palutena questioned Hades about it, she sounded very suspicious, almost as if an item that can grant any wish was too good to be true. Or finally 2, and most likely the better explanation: 'Cause it's Nintendo logic!
10:41 in this area, if you fall off the platform you’re meant to drive the Exotank across, you will find a Clubberskull. It will drop a weapon or power should you choose to defeat it. This Clubberskull is also unique in that it is the only Clubberskull that is fought post-Medusa.
Dante Lajes well, you have to be a suck up to someone that lets you fly, since dark pit has pandoras power, he has infinite flight, and was a messed up clone, he has an attitude that makes him not a suck up.
Even LATER reply but it's possible the Wish Seed is completely unrelated to the Pheonix's presence. In other words, the Pheonix is defending its home which just so happens to be the location of the Wish Seed.
Latest late reply but the Phoenix could think that it is the real wish seed. Or maybe Hades just slipped the Phoenix like 20 bucks to guard it anyways.
I know. That's why the Percy Jackson series is so great. Hades ISN'T a bad guy in that series (except in the awful movie that we don't speak of), but none of the other gods really trust him because of what he is and what he does.
As someone named after a Phoenix, I'd say I'm pretty learned on them too, and I've never heard of them laying eggs either, though I have heard that more than one can be reborn from its ashes.

10:41 in this area, if you fall off the platform you’re meant to drive the Exotank across, you will find a Clubberskull. It will drop a weapon or power should you choose to defeat it. This Clubberskull is also unique in that it is the only Clubberskull that is fought post-Medusa.

Dante Lajes well, you have to be a suck up to someone that lets you fly, since dark pit has pandoras power, he has infinite flight, and was a messed up clone, he has an attitude that makes him not a suck up.
Next chapter has one of my favorite chapter intros. I love the premise, it's so...threatening.

I know. That's why the Percy Jackson series is so great. Hades ISN'T a bad guy in that series (except in the awful movie that we don't speak of), but none of the other gods really trust him because of what he is and what he does.
