Dream Vintage Mountain Bike Build, 1992 Giant ATX 770

Today I start building up a 1992 Giant ATX 770. After almost 4 years of searching I finally found one in my size and am very excited to get the build under way. I will be using a black Deore LX drivetrain which looks great with the paint scheme.

Hello looking at picking up one of these Giant Atx to build up...
Just curious as to WHY do you like this so much to look for one for 4 yrs...? Im looking to grab one i saw becuase its a good deal...? Just wondering if this is a framevthat is really sought-after??

For me I feel in love with the paint job and over all aesthetic. They are a mass produced frame so in the big picture of things they are not highly sought after but one cool thing about collecting things is everyone can have there own idea of what is cool.

I’m thinking about buying a 1992 ATX 760. Do you know the tire clearance on your 770?

I have 1.9” on mine with plenty of clearance. I think it could easily take 2.25” and maybe 2.4”

Hey got the same frame but sold under 1992 escaper model. Do you know what the seatpost size is?
