I remember when I couldn't even do 5 Bulgarian Lunges without having to take a break, now I'm doing a full workout of them! Look how much progress we've all made because of Caroline. I always work out with Caroline. She's my go-to. I've only done this workout three times because it requires big levels of energy and motivation, but when I do it, I feel amazing and extremely accomplished. Today my mum asked me "why are you walking like a duck?" and I said "because I'm very sore!"😂 Thank you Caroline, I've been working out with you for 2 years! You're the best. Hugs from Spain!!

Attitude is everything. I went into this with the attitude of "I can do Bulgarian Lunges and I will do my best". I just kept each set to a good pace, made sure I had my footing and I made it happen. I was even able to keep my 15 lb weights throughout. Caroline did a great job breaking it up, providing rest and making this do-able. Don't give up (mentally) before you try it.

A couple of years ago I had never done a single bulgarian lunge and they were so HARD!!! Today I completed a full class of bulgarian lunges - thank you so much for the long-distance coaching Caroline!!! Wow, such progress you guide us to!!!! 😍💪💪💪💪
Bulgarians lunges are a tough exercise and today we are doing a lot of them! Our quads will be destroyed...but we are all epic Girvanators by now so I’m sure we will all smash this workout together! Have fun everyone ! Matthew

Really love the empowering approach you take. Actually doing the workouts instead of doing a couple of reps and then talking at us. Letting us see that even you need to stop and rest sometimes, and not making us feel that a few seconds of rest is time wasted. Takes the pressure off and makes the workouts way more enjoyable as a result!
I believe that was a test for every single one of us, to see how far we've reached on our fitness journey!!! Amazingly tough workout🥵, but smashed it, and I'm really proud of this😄 One year ago I wouldn't imagine not even in my wildest dreams, pulling off a workout like that. Boy oh boy, this B lunge session did not disappoint! Hats off to Caroline for making a potentially monotonous session into an exciting and fun workout with so much variety yet every bit as challenging as promised. The finisher was absolutely brilliant, not only kicked up the HR but also set the legs on fire! Absolutely LOVED this session, going into my fav folder for sure. Thank you, Caroline! This is gonna be 🔥! How incredible is it that we’re getting ready for a whole workout of Bulgarians?? This was definitely one that took working up to. It’s amazing to read the comments and see people talk about progressing from only being able to do a handful of these a year ago, and now being able to smash this workout today. That was my journey too, so 🎉congratulations🎉 to all of us for sticking with it and reaching this point!! I love the way Caroline structures her workouts, especially the 50 Day EPICs, because while each new workout feels like a challenge by the end of the program we’re all blown away by how much stronger we’ve become. I used to hate Bulgarian lunges bec I am not so flexible. But doing Caroline’s workout, I have begin to appreciate how I can now do a deeper lunge and have enjoyed every workout with it! I cannot thank you enough Caroline! Let’s power up this week for an awesome finish!

I actually have started loving Bulgarian lunges because it is one exercise I know has given me tremendous results and I look forward to each workout with them. I feel most glute activation with forward lean lunges than any other exercise! Gone are the days when I would absolutely cry when I would see Caroline include them haha...

Superb solid LowerBody Sesh! Quads, hammies, and glutes were on fire. Holds were Killer. By the RDLs legs were shaking. Faves were the staple, 21s and finisher. Was it fantastic Trish. Caroline excelled here. Such fun but so tough. But as Caroline said time will fly by. What a finisher. Real 🔥🔥. It was hard to go into RDL's from a Bulgarian lunge as my legs were quivering too. Glutes add on done too with ankle weights and that was the final thorn. It was torture. Can't feel my lower body now🤣🤣 glad you smashed it as always. You are awesome. Good work👍👍

Actually blown away by this workout. Like most people, I didn’t like Bulgarian lunges before endgame - they’re really hard and I don’t like the way my foot feels on the chair. But as endgame progressed I noticed myself enjoying them more, the range of movement and the way your leg heats up after a set in a really satisfying way! Still, a full workout seemed like a stretch, but I have to say this was so masterfully put together it was one of my favourites! The 1 minute format with 30s breaks made it super manageable and the 30s switch was super helpful mentally to make the sets feel shorter (especially after those minute long staples!!). And after the first 15 mins it actually got easier as my muscles eased into the movements. Wow!!
Completed and I honestly can’t believe I did this leg workout with nothing but all Bulgarian. I’m sure these legs will be jello tomorrow but completing this was an accomplishment I never thought I’d survive. For those who haven’t tried don’t be afraid, just go slow and pace yourself. Before you know it you already hitting the finish line. I highly recommend you stretch n warm up those legs before pursuing this workout and all the best! Good Luck 👍

I nearly switched this workout because Bulgarian lunges are my least favorite exercise BUT then I remembered the progress I've made and also this community that you would be going through the same so I DID IT!👊 The moments when Caroline looks into the screen as if to to say "I'm with you!"🥰 keep me going! 2nd time doing this. Used 8kg. I was so much better today compared to when I completed it all those months ago. It is tough but the way Caroline formatted the timings and rest periods makes it doable. The staple was a great way to just stretch out your legs before the next round. As always many many thanks Caroline ❤❤❤
Interesting how I am able to do these Bulgarian lunges without haffing and puffing unlike when I began.....so much growth courtesy of Caroline. Thank you for these workouts.

I didn't think I'd ever be able to complete a workout consisting of Bulgarian lunges (I hate the things), but I did, and rather successfully too! It's a testament to Caroline's smart planning of the workout structure as I barely had to take rests, except during that one move where Caroline needed rests too 😅 I am so proud of getting through 40 minutes of one of my most disliked moves 💪🏼🥳

I loved this format! Having that slight switch in the exercise 30 seconds in made it so much easier from a mental standpoint and as we all know, that's 80% of the battle! HOWEVER, trying to do the add-on glute workout afterward was like committing glute suicide, especially since my glutes were still sore from the 100 squat jump HIIT finisher on Sunday!!!
I can’t say this was my best workout ever, but I gave it my all 😬 Luckily I had time afterwards for the wonderful UNWIND stretches, and am now in a state of something akin to bliss 😌. Thank you Caroline 🤩
❤Loved this!!❤ I honestly had a lot of fun and enjoyed every minute of that. Call me crazy🤪😆! Favorite for me!! This was absolutely a celebratory workout for me. When I started doing the Epic Programs when Epic ll came out over a year ago, Bulgarians were new to me, didn't really like them and they took everything I had to do them. Fast-forward to now, they are one of my favorite exercises and I am able to totally crush a full workout dedicated to them!👊🏻😁 And my husband totally crushed it too. My favorites were the pauses, slow eccentric, RDLs and those 21s🤩(very creative). Loved the staple. So much variety within this..you did an awesome job planning this Caroline. The finisher did its job!!🥵 My quad were definitely pumped afterwards😆👊🏻! Thank you for a fun, rewarding workout Caroline..and for swaying me overtime to love the chair embrace the burn😏. I'm excited to see what I can accomplish tomorrow! See you tomorrow!

Two days ago I returned from a week of holidays of pure relaxation, where having fun with my hubby and the kids, walking along the beach and swiming in the ocean and at the pool were the only exercises I did. 😆 I couldn't wait to get back to the program, though. Wow!!! What a session! How powerfull I felt in the end... such an amazing feeling!!!! But that was yesterday; the pain today is undescribable!!! I have to go up and down the stairs constantly, both at home and at work... It's so tough!😂😂😂
I have been curious about this workout since the beginning of epic endgame… it’s going to be a challenging session, but after EMOM now we can do everything! 💪🏼

I can’t believe i kept up with this workout with 2x20lbs. Endgame has really shown me how much I’ve progressed since Epic 1. And I truly believe the 100 rep challenges have made me stronger!!!!
I was dreading this workout because B lunges are extremely challenging when done with proper form. But I surprised myself and finished the entire workout 💪. We’ve got this.

Not going to lie! That was brutal and I knew it would be as soon as I saw the title. I've been working out with Caroline for almost 2 years and still I was not prepared for that. I could only do 50 of the finisher. My legs are still quivering! Wish I had a sit down job today---maybe not, I might seize up lol! Do your best everyone! That's all you can do! Just as the description says! Bulgarian lunges and more Bulgarian lunges. I used 2x10kg Dumbbells which felt heavier today. I just passed my Bulgarian lunge exam 😜 That was truly epic!! And managed the finisher with some extra pauses. Wow this feels like end of term exams this week. Let's see if I can say the same tomorrow about push ups 😂

This was so good. If anyone is dreading it...don't. The variations make it interesting to do. Think the hardest was the eccentric/concentric for me. Especially the concentric, takes a lot of will not to push up quicker. Thanks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My right leg is stronger than left so feels I did more reps on right than left…I plan to redo this at some stage when I feel to challenge myself..Enjoy everyone 🌷

Surprise! I really enjoyed this workout! My Bulgarians were lower and my balance was better. I sometimes lose my balance moving the weights to my shoulders then putting my back foot up. The Endgame has increased my strength and balance. Who would have thought we all could get through 40 minutes of Bulgarians! Congrats Girvanators! Thank you Caroline for challenging us and showing us we are strong!

This is a brilliantly balanced workout, tough but manageable. I don't love bulgarians, but having poor ligaments due to soccer and skiing, this kind of unilateral work is so helpful to me. What a way to close out the legs for this program!
Loved this workout and i did surprise myself with finishing it feeling NOT totally dead afterwards. I used one 25# kb throughout which served for everything even though we were to switch from two to one DB. I like to have one hand free to catch myself in case I topple. I use the basement stairs as my very sturdy “chair”. Works great. The BW holds are always surprisingly difficult often moreso than a weighted full range set! I used to find the forward leaning Bulgarians so so hard but today they felt very manageable, although during the Finisher, they got me! Did the add-on which DEFINITELY burned after Bulgarians, i almost quit after the first set but decided to keep going. I can’t say no to Caroline’s ankle weight workouts. Looking forward to tomorrow!

I was surprised how well I managed the fwd leaning Bulgarians too..clearly we've gotten so much stronger. The finisher was a killer!! I just went until my front leg couldn't, over and over again..usually sets of 10 or 15. 🔥🔥🔥! See you tomorrow for another goodie!😁
When I saw this on the weekly calendar on the weekend, I got scared for my quads. When I read through the exercises in the description today, I got even more scared for my quads. Workout done, my quads are trembling, but the fear and self-doubt is gone. Thank you so much Caroline for pushing us to be stronger 💪♥️
Time is going exceptionally fast with this program. Like I'm not even kidding, last time I remember I was doing proper leg day (day 1) and was pretty excited about whats to come. And now here we all stand with just a few workouts left. No words to describe how good this experience was for me Caroline, I loved every inch of every single program you created for us! Your creativity and intelligence shines through your creations and I hope that I'll visit Ireland someday to meet you or you might come to India if like to see cultural and historical places and I'll meet you for sure !
I remember when I couldn't even do 5 Bulgarian Lunges without having to take a break, now I'm doing a full workout of them! Look how much progress we've all made because of Caroline. I always work out with Caroline. She's my go-to. I've only done this workout three times because it requires big levels of energy and motivation, but when I do it, I feel amazing and extremely accomplished. Today my mum asked me "why are you walking like a duck?" and I said "because I'm very sore!"😂 Thank you Caroline, I've been working out with you for 2 years! You're the best. Hugs from Spain!!

Attitude is everything. I went into this with the attitude of "I can do Bulgarian Lunges and I will do my best". I just kept each set to a good pace, made sure I had my footing and I made it happen. I was even able to keep my 15 lb weights throughout. Caroline did a great job breaking it up, providing rest and making this do-able. Don't give up (mentally) before you try it.

Really love the empowering approach you take. Actually doing the workouts instead of doing a couple of reps and then talking at us. Letting us see that even you need to stop and rest sometimes, and not making us feel that a few seconds of rest is time wasted. Takes the pressure off and makes the workouts way more enjoyable as a result!
This workout was a MUST in epic endgame. I used to be afraid of bulgarian lunges...thanks to Caroline's EPICs I am not anymore😉.
I believe that was a test for every single one of us, to see how far we've reached on our fitness journey!!! Amazingly tough workout🥵, but smashed it, and I'm really proud of this😄 One year ago I wouldn't imagine not even in my wildest dreams, pulling off a workout like that. Boy oh boy, this B lunge session did not disappoint! Hats off to Caroline for making a potentially monotonous session into an exciting and fun workout with so much variety yet every bit as challenging as promised. It’s amazing to read the comments and see people talk about progressing from only being able to do a handful of these a year ago, and now being able to smash this workout today. I used to hate Bulgarian lunges bec I am not so flexible. But doing Caroline’s workout, I have begin to appreciate how I can now do a deeper lunge and have enjoyed every workout with it! I cannot thank you enough Caroline! Let’s power up this week for an awesome finish!

I actually have started loving Bulgarian lunges because it is one exercise I know has given me tremendous results and I look forward to each workout with them. I feel most glute activation with forward lean lunges than any other exercise! Gone are the days when I would absolutely cry when I would see Caroline include them haha...

Faves were the staple, 21s and finisher. Completely different when I first met Bulgarians 2yrs ago..I was so scared of falling and wobbly. Progress!

Was it fantastic Trish. Caroline excelled here. Such fun but so tough. But as Caroline said time will fly by. What a finisher. Real 🔥🔥. It was hard to go into RDL's from a Bulgarian lunge as my legs were quivering too. Glutes add on done too with ankle weights and that was the final thorn. It was torture. Can't feel my lower body now🤣🤣 glad you smashed it as always. You are awesome. Good work👍👍

Actually blown away by this workout. Like most people, I didn’t like Bulgarian lunges before endgame - they’re really hard and I don’t like the way my foot feels on the chair. But as endgame progressed I noticed myself enjoying them more, the range of movement and the way your leg heats up after a set in a really satisfying way! Still, a full workout seemed like a stretch, but I have to say this was so masterfully put together it was one of my favourites! The 1 minute format with 30s breaks made it super manageable and the 30s switch was super helpful mentally to make the sets feel shorter (especially after those minute long staples!!). And after the first 15 mins it actually got easier as my muscles eased into the movements. Wow!!
Completed and I honestly can’t believe I did this leg workout with nothing but all Bulgarian. I’m sure these legs will be jello tomorrow but completing this was an accomplishment I never thought I’d survive. For those who haven’t tried don’t be afraid, just go slow and pace yourself. Before you know it you already hitting the finish line. I highly recommend you stretch n warm up those legs before pursuing this workout and all the best! Good Luck 👍

2nd time doing this. Used 8kg. I was so much better today compared to when I completed it all those months ago. It is tough but the way Caroline formatted the timings and rest periods makes it doable. The staple was a great way to just stretch out your legs before the next round. As always many many thanks Caroline ❤❤❤
Interesting how I am able to do these Bulgarian lunges without haffing and puffing unlike when I began.....so much growth courtesy of Caroline. Thank you for these workouts.

I didn't think I'd ever be able to complete a workout consisting of Bulgarian lunges (I hate the things), but I did, and rather successfully too! It's a testament to Caroline's smart planning of the workout structure as I barely had to take rests, except during that one move where Caroline needed rests too 😅 I am so proud of getting through 40 minutes of one of my most disliked moves 💪🏼🥳

I loved this format! Having that slight switch in the exercise 30 seconds in made it so much easier from a mental standpoint and as we all know, that's 80% of the battle! HOWEVER, trying to do the add-on glute workout afterward was like committing glute suicide, especially since my glutes were still sore from the 100 squat jump HIIT finisher on Sunday!!!
I can’t say this was my best workout ever, but I gave it my all 😬 Luckily I had time afterwards for the wonderful UNWIND stretches, and am now in a state of something akin to bliss 😌. Thank you Caroline 🤩

When I started doing the Epic Programs when Epic ll came out over a year ago, Bulgarians were new to me, didn't really like them and they took everything I had to do them. Fast-forward to now, they are one of my favorite exercises and I am able to totally crush a full workout dedicated to them!👊🏻😁 And my husband totally crushed it too. My favorites were the pauses, slow eccentric, RDLs and those 21s🤩(very creative). Loved the staple. So much variety within this..you did an awesome job planning this Caroline. The finisher did its job!!🥵 My quad were definitely pumped afterwards😆👊🏻! Thank you for a fun, rewarding workout Caroline..and for swaying me overtime to love the chair embrace the burn😏. Two days ago I returned from a week of holidays of pure relaxation, where having fun with my hubby and the kids, walking along the beach and swiming in the ocean and at the pool were the only exercises I did. 😆 I couldn't wait to get back to the program, though. Wow!!! What a session! How powerfull I felt in the end... such an amazing feeling!!!! But that was yesterday; the pain today is undescribable!!! I have to go up and down the stairs constantly, both at home and at work... It's so tough!😂😂😂

I could only do 50 of the finisher. My legs are still quivering! Wish I had a sit down job today---maybe not, I might seize up lol! Do your best everyone! That's all you can do! I love leg day! It's always my favourite! I feel that today's will challenge me, I was glad to see it is only 10kg each side as don't think I would manage my 15kgs on this one. Just as the description says! Bulgarian lunges and more Bulgarian lunges. I used 2x10kg Dumbbells which felt heavier today. Enjoying the last few workouts and feeling grateful for the strength I have built throughout the years of working out with Caroline. Happy international women's day to you all beautiful women. ❤

I was scared why I looked at the plan last Sunday for the leg day. It has been always scary for me when I see this type of exercise. I was not sure if I could complete this workout. But I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so surprised and also proud of myself! The planning and structure of today's workout made it fun and achievable! Thank you so much Caroline for your workout planning as well as your devotion to helping us. Thank you!

I've never had such a feeling in my quads ever before... they went hard as a rock.... oh my...i used to hate any form of lunges but finishing a whole workout worth of lunges...how far ive come ....wahhhh... feeling so proud of myself 💪💪💪💪💪💪
I just passed my Bulgarian lunge exam 😜 That was truly epic!! And managed the finisher with some extra pauses. Wow this feels like end of term exams this week. Let's see if I can say the same tomorrow about push ups 😂

I can't believe I just finished full 40 minutes of Bulgarian lunges, that feels totally crazy! Thank you for bringing this up at the end of Epic Endgame, because it feels like an accomplishment or a benchmark of some sort!

This was so good. If anyone is dreading it...don't. The variations make it interesting to do. Think the hardest was the eccentric/concentric for me. Especially the concentric, takes a lot of will not to push up quicker. Thanks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nicola, was going to opt out until I saw your message. As I have progressed with Caroline the last 14 months I now give myself permission to decline workouts that I don't think suit me. I will try this one thanks to you.

Update : it killed me but didnt die - lunges to rdl was the most challenging for me and also the close stance lunges. My right leg is stronger than left so feels I did more reps on right than left…I plan to redo this at some stage when I feel to challenge myself..Enjoy everyone 🌷

Looking at the thumbnail/title had me scared, then Caroline's lovely smile gave me pause and I became just plain happy and excited LOL. With Caroline's help throughout Endgame I've found my way of doing proper form Bulgarians so let's smash this workout!! Looking lovely as always Caroline, we love you!! :)
Update: looks like this finisher will be smashing me LOL but we'll find a way through like always!

Surprise! I really enjoyed this workout! My Bulgarians were lower and my balance was better. I sometimes lose my balance moving the weights to my shoulders then putting my back foot up. The Endgame has increased my strength and balance. Who would have thought we all could get through 40 minutes of Bulgarians! Congrats Girvanators! Thank you Caroline for challenging us and showing us we are strong!

But that staple was fun, my glutes were crying during that part and the finisher!!! I still don't yet mastered that balance rdl 😫
This is a brilliantly balanced workout, tough but manageable. I don't love bulgarians, but having poor ligaments due to soccer and skiing, this kind of unilateral work is so helpful to me. What a way to close out the legs for this program!

Loved this workout and i did surprise myself with finishing it feeling NOT totally dead afterwards. I used one 25# kb throughout which served for everything even though we were to switch from two to one DB. I like to have one hand free to catch myself in case I topple. I use the basement stairs as my very sturdy “chair”. Works great. The BW holds are always surprisingly difficult often moreso than a weighted full range set! I used to find the forward leaning Bulgarians so so hard but today they felt very manageable, although during the Finisher, they got me! Did the add-on which DEFINITELY burned after Bulgarians, i almost quit after the first set but decided to keep going. I can’t say no to Caroline’s ankle weight workouts. Looking forward to tomorrow!
Nice job Alison! I'm so glad you loved this workout too! Those holds are always such burners..I try to go to my happy place all the time😆. I was surprised how well I managed the fwd leaning Bulgarians too..clearly we've gotten so much stronger. The finisher was a killer!! I just went until my front leg couldn't, over and over again..usually sets of 10 or 15. 🔥🔥🔥! See you tomorrow for another goodie!😁
When I saw this on the weekly calendar on the weekend, I got scared for my quads.
When I read through the exercises in the description today, I got even more scared for my quads.
Workout done, my quads are trembling, but the fear and self-doubt is gone. Thank you so much Caroline for pushing us to be stronger 💪♥️

Time is going exceptionally fast with this program. Like I'm not even kidding, last time I remember I was doing proper leg day (day 1) and was pretty excited about whats to come. And now here we all stand with just a few workouts left. No words to describe how good this experience was for me Caroline, I loved every inch of every single program you created for us! Your creativity and intelligence shines through your creations and I hope that I'll visit Ireland someday to meet you or you might come to India if like to see cultural and historical places and I'll meet you for sure !
