I find resistance work absolutely great and along with watching what I eat and when I eat (and resistance to cravings which are different to hunger) and minimising dis-stress / maintaining a pma I find them most influential in maximising my metabolic health and mental performance. You have given no details as to what and how much you train so I will just generalise - focus on resistance work for larger muscle groups especially lower body, take you sets and reps to close to the most you can manage before you cant do any more, making sure you maintain good form and core switched on. If you find you are tired all the time then that is indicative of a more insidious health problem and you need to investigate that with whoever you trust. Exercise, exercise, exercise. That seems to be the answer for so many things. I only wish that produced the rare essence of motivation. Well, maybe I'll make a New Year's resolution this year.
That's the shame, as people don't have to be gym junkies to get a lot of the benefits , just doing some squats every day while waiting for jug to boil , waving some 5KG dumbbells around while watching some TV , a few calf raises in the checkout line, using the stairs etc. If people just modify their diets by 20% , did 3 hours of exercise a week, they would get easily 50% of benefits or us more determine folks . Just staying active, walking briskly , gardening , dancing , no high sugar products , more fiber and a few more veggies will again get you big benefits and just make your life happier . I use a hypnosis cd, there's one for motivation to exercise. I find it really works. I usually listen while having an afternoon lie down on the days I visit the gym. I'm 75 female on a low carb diet.
Klotho along with Foxo were discovered fairly recently by a French lab from Lakesis, amd oil derived from the resin of the ancient mastic trees on the Greek island of Chios. Lakesis, when used topically, has anti-aging characteristics for the skin. With daily use, in 28 days the fibroblasts of a 57 year old returned to the same condition as a 34 year old. There is just one skincare product in North america I know of using this ( Mastic by VivaLaCara) . Very interesting to find it's other properties.

Is it actually an effect of platelet factor 4 and signaling that comes downstream of Klotho? Would increasing platelet factor 4 in the brain independently of Klotho have the same effect?

Offtopic: Is V02 max that important for lifespan? I see it mainly mentioned by Peter Attia?
VO2Max is a marker of good cardiovascular health. It doesn't mean you have to do specific exercises to raise your VO2Max, but when it's low, then you'll get to a point where you can't be self sufficient (think going out to buy groceries, climb some flights of stairs without gasping for air, etc). Considering the expected decline with age, if you don't have a very good VO2Max right now, then after some decades you'll be barely able to get out of a chair.
