Yeah, I was inspired by The Infinite and the Divine. In that book they meet an ork warboss who used to be a pain boy. I made this little Pain Nob earlier with Necron bits (right here th-cam.com/video/zdy-rfwUjDg/w-d-xo.html ) and now this is the actual Pain Boss!
That is an awesome kitbash! Love the lore and fell of it! I like that you explain the reasoning behind your choices for the narrative on the painting. 10/10! Subbed!
Glad you enjoyed it and welcome to the channel! I really try to tell a story with my kitbashes, even when the only inspiration originally was that I just saw two minis and wanted to bash them together.
It looks awesome and also eons of battle does the skulls on most of his black Templars not just the terminators he does it as holy objects as someone who formerly wore the armor before the current wearer
Ah, I thought it was just the terminators. Now I do remember that they were the skulls of the former wearer. Very gruesome and very cool story behind them.
I think you should not limit yourself with making models recognizible. Its a kitbash, its your thing, go nuts and do whatever you want, becouse you will wake up in the morning and amongst the first things you will see will be your dope Pain boy warboss
I'm really torn on this. On the one hand, I agree! Freedom to make what you like is great and you can go crazy with the mini. On the other hand. I actually like the challenge of making it look like the model it represents. So, I just do both. This time I made the model recognisable, tomorrow I publish a video of an Ultramarines chariot.
The amount of switching between you talking and the actual kitbash made me not like the video. I was interested in seeing more of the conversion and painting. For what it's worth, just some feedback.
Thanks, man I appreciate this kind of feedback. I try to keep the video flowing, and I personally find watching kitbash videos a bit boring. So I try to make them a bit more interesting with more talk about the story and what I'm trying to accomplish.
Show your friends what a true connoisseur of kitbashing you are and share this video with them!
WAAGH!! I think that is plausible in lore, we do have a famous Ork Painboy that has his own minions

Incredible!! Your production quality and kitbash creativity are top notch sir🤝
Thanks a ton!
Man what a BEAST! Conversion came out great!
Thanks man!

Amazing, I’ve just started painting a grim dark chaos infused waaagh and this is perfect. Lots of awesome tips, keep up the good work!

Mini is hard to read and looks messy. 4/10
Immediate contender for comment of the week. Thank you!
