    I don't trust a "doctor" who can't spell water correctly. Look at 1:29 into the video.

    From eeeeeeeverything this dude said, the food industry promotes the opposite...Cereal bars came recently to our daily lives, honey honey and yet more honey with cereals, well the food industry kept the title "healthy" and removed all healthy ingredients(apart from cereals, cause are cheap)including the expensive honey that corn syrup replaced for profit.Food industry and shit.

    MISSED OPPORTUNITY:
    This was a prime opportunity to talk about the HUGE difference between a freshly cooked potato (very high glycemic) and a RS or resistant starch-rich Potato.
    When a potato is cooked, then cooled for 24 hrs or more (and it can even be reheated up to 140d) is becomes rich in a special kind of starch that feeds your good gut microbes. Especially the ones that make very healthy anti-inflammatory SCFAs.
    ALSO potatoes can have up to 30 pesticides, fungicides etc. on/in them. Buy organic ones to be sure. You can even grow them in a container garden on your porch.

      They're good either
      Way. The glycemic index is also irrelevant as far as I'm concerned when it come to whole plant foods

      The fiber does slow down the carb/ sugar digestion- assimilation 🥔
      It’s a whole fresh plant 🪴 based food too.
      Basically- practically fat free also.. 👏 Natural 🤷‍♀️ so- beats processed foods I think 👏

    You wouldn’t roast potatoes with olive oil you need to roast potatoes with an oil that has a higher smoke point than olive oil

    • @ethanjennings6442
      @ethanjennings6442 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Extra virgin olive oil's smoke point is around 410F, so as long as your oven is at 350-375F there should be no problems with roasting them and you'll get more health benefits from olive oil than other cooking oils.
