Awesome review Bronson! The Connect 2 has quickly become my favorite entry level interface and a top recommendation on my channel. Lewitt did a great job with this one 👍
For musicians, mixers, producers: SSL2+ For streamers/podcaster/content creators: Connect 2 Anyone who does a mix of those, I would probably take the connect 2. I really like the SSL2+ but I would say it’s more musician oriented compared to the connect 2.
Good to see you! I think you might be missing the point - "Most User Friendly = Idiot Proof" Do not give beginners knobs or controls in the compressor! I deal with beginners all the time - You and I know that there is no "right way" to do any of this because it is context specific. Beginners need to be told to "do it this way" and they will eventually learn there are many ways. MAYBE LOL. Functionality vs Confusion is the axis they are balancing on - remember, it's not for you! peace
Heyyy!!!! Good to be back, even though it took me a really long time to finish this video 🤣 I promise I am not “missing the point” I disclaimed that compressor suggestion wasn’t a “most user friendly audio interface” recommendation… I even say that exact thing something like “… but, that isn’t user friendly.” I think that Lewitt might be toeing a line… because it’s weird that the Connect 6 has the editable comp, and the Connect 2 is this “new interface” that has a different slogan, and it doesn’t… it’s like if the Duo didn’t have the same functionality as the RCPII, people would be bugged. Like I said with the suggestion, make the Connect 6 people happy and make it double clickable to change the sound, but just allow it to be turned on with the default sound. Both win. OR call jt something completely different and have it be the Lewitt A-2 “most user friendly audio interface.”
Yes!!! I wasn’t using a Cloudlifter, or any sort of mic activator, the whole time and still had plenty of gain! If you were live streaming, you could use the denoise with it, but I found that turning it up a few dB then setting the denoise, makes a big difference in the latching sound!
Many thanks for the great review and the feedback!
Hooray!! Nice to see Bronson back again - fixing our audio as per usual. Bronson is the most user friendly TH-camr.
AWEEEE Thanks man!!

Thank you! Good to know! Yeah, Lewitt did a good job making the adjustments from the connect 6 and what people didn’t like about that.
@@AudioHotline for sure
Great to have you back, Bronson! Awesome review!
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it!
Guess who’s back…..back again
Bronnys back….tell a friend
YES!!! AH is back!!! Hope you're doing better now!
Any thoughts on it compared to an SSL2+?
For musicians, mixers, producers:
SSL2+
For streamers/podcaster/content creators:
Connect 2
Anyone who does a mix of those, I would probably take the connect 2.
I really like the SSL2+ but I would say it’s more musician oriented compared to the connect 2.
@@AudioHotline Thanks!
i’m satisfied with connect6 as i don’t need hi-z
I do hope they update their software, to have the DSP granularity of the Connect 6.
The cats…I can’t…I just can’t 😂🤣
YEAH!!!! It's always a struggle finding where I can squeeze them in, in an interface review! 🤣

@@AudioHotline Yeah I get it, just playing devils advocate! But marketing is a thing that is usually misleading IMHO. peace
Gain sufficient for SM7B to produce clean sound with no Cloud-lifter?

Who won the am8 giveaway?
I am just about to do it. I had some health issues, a TIA, and it kept me down for over a month. So I am just getting around to it.
@@AudioHotline woah i hope your feeling better
Don’t call it a comeback…he’s been here for years…😂 🎵
🤣🤣🤣
We really are spoiled for choice these days.
You are correct about that!!!
