OK, now that the Julian Krause review has dropped, the Lewitt CONNECT 2 has become an actual product.
Agreed. I still pray to see a day when the Behringer XR18 used as a interface gets "Kraused", thus digging it out of the realm of stage rack mixers, and to the interface world. I'd love to see how bad/good or else I'm faring atm... I use two of them for tracking and running PA for choirs and small classical music ensembles... Thank you Julian, your work is fantastic.

I’m interested in a review of the Blackstar Polar 2
I'll admit I have watched so many of your videos and im still just not entirely sure how the ohm impedence works? I get the general idea but then you often mention it in relation to sensitive iems or high impedence headphones and thats where i get a tad confused. For example the new 4i4 4th gen seems to fit all my needs best but it has 11 ohms, and my moondrop variations iem has 15 and im worried it won't be good enough. But its all i use and ive gotten so used to that exact sound, id like to be able to keep using them. Granted id also need a converter to convert them to 1/4" and im assuming a 4.4mm to 1/4" won't work because of balanced jack audio not being a typical thing so it'll have to be a 2.5 or 3.5 to 1/4.
Would i still be able to use them or is their sound going to be bad with the 4i4 4th gen?

Looks like a good option for streaming (So ultimately the output and all that doesn't matter that much for me in my workflow) If you are looking for some Interface to review, there is the new Presonus Quantum series that is quite impressive and also the new Heritage audio is intriguing. I am curious about what you think of interfaces built into instruments like keyboards. Can I expect the built in USB Audio interface on an affordable instrument like the Korg Liano to be decent? How could I determine if it is any good without buying one?

To Amp Or Not To Amp?
Will a Headphone (AKG K-240 MKII) with a sensitivity of 91dB/mW and an impedance of 55 ohms benefit from a headphone amp? If so I was thinking about getting the Motu M2 and using the headphone amplifier from the interface since I am in the market for an audio interface anyways, will this be sufficient enough to drive the headphones and bring out their full capabilities?

Hey i want to buy beyerdynamics dt990 pro but 250ohm but i dont know what audio interface should i buy too. Could you recomend something thats around 100 dollars?
I would find it interesting to see, just for educational purposes, a test on a few interfaces of at what gain level does the mic-preamp noise overpower the ADC noise, as well as what gain level does the noise from a typical condenser mic overpower the noise from the ADC. I'm wondering how relevant this "dynamic range" measurement really is if in practice the mic or pre-amp is going to be noisier anyway. The ultimate true dynamic range is only as good as the noisiest component, a bigger dynamic range only gives extra headroom if the ADC is the bottleneck, which will almost never be the case.

the audio technica AT-UMX3 would make for a great comparison, as there aren't many interfaces with this form factor
If only Connect 2 had the DSP effects (or control center in general) of Connect 6 - it would have been such a amazing audio interface! I'd like to have full control instead of some presets that I can't even tweak
It is the only thing I really miss in Connect 2, while in Connect 6 there is no Hi-Z input, no mute mic mute button, and the headphone output impendence is quite high
Looking forward to Connect 4, which will take the best from both previous cards, or at least I'll be dreaming about it
You commented on the Connect 6 that you hadn't seen real time processing on the device at that price point. Which devices have you seen it on at higher prices?

For streaming, its missing audio routing which is a big thing to separate Discord, Game/Software and anything else from the output. Otherwise it would be the best all built in device for streaming that doesn't take up much space.

Ohne Software kann man das Ding wohl nicht nutzen bzw. ich gehe mal davon aus, dass es keine Software für Linux gibt d. h. man kann es nur als Windows oder vermutlich Mac Nutzer gebrauchen. Ist schade, aber entspricht den Erwartungen.

With those one-trick-pony-plugins, it's a big "pass" for me.
Give us freely adjustable effects:
Highpass, Gate, Compressor, fully parametric EQ, Limiter
I really don't understand, why manufacturers don't fill this obvious market gap.
Also give it a proper formfactor (not like this thing .. more like the 4th gen Scarlett interfaces) and you will sell tons of it.
1 minute into the video and it's got a rubber surface, meaning it's going to disintegrate into a gooey mess in a way that metal interfaces won't.
