I play on PC with an XBOX controller and dammit, I just cannot get the hang of swing stick. Even if it's a perfectly straight down and up motin, the ball slices left or right. Putting is even worse. I'm going to try 3 click next. If that doesn't work, I give up. (I'm averaging +10-+14 right now. No hopes of advancing from amateur)
I hear ya Jeff. Stick at it man and you’ll eventually get it !!. Could be worth altering your swing tempo ? Even if your swing path is straight if your hitting it fast or slow will have a big impact
I even find despite a lazer straight swing plane if I hit it slightly fast or slow it’ll pull either direction but you’ll learn to play for it. But take your time and be patient and you’ll get the results !! I believe in ya
@@justjordannnnn I’m on 3 click now. Having much better results. I made the cut as an amateur at Bandon Dunes finally, and on the front 9 in round 3, I’ve moved up into 5th place with a -3. I had 6 birdies in a row to shoot up in the standings. Not going back to swing stick for awhile. Lol. (Would you??)
@@beatlesleo I wasn’t enjoying the game shooting +14 in the amateur round and being 120/120 in the standings. I went to 3 click and am now having fun. Call it what you will (baby button, casual mode, etc) but the game is enjoyable to me now. And I don’t play online at all so no worries there.

Any tips on how to master the diagonal backswing? Do you need to increase the stats to make it easier as I just cannot match the line at all?
