There are quite a few channels out there with PC golf tips but I really like your style, very calm and assuring. Some channels just skip so much, zoom through everything and just assume we understand what they're saying. You go slowly though these things and explain them which is much appreciated.
I'm so glad I found this video, it has totally transformed my putting. I couldn't for the life of me work out what I was doing wrong. Explaining the left/right aim in cups really clicked for me, as well as the break point. The game is so much more enjoyable now, thank you 👍🏻
Yes I would cheat and use putt read line for particularly evil greens like Oakmont where they spray the greens with ice before every round. But the putt read line is pretty useless anyway.
I had a reverse path earlier today, about 14 holes into round. showed it breaking right(Path) and beads but broke left. then a couple holes later had a putt path that had a shallow curve but about 6 inchs from cup it took a 90 degree angle to the left, was crazy. This was after patch. I will update with course it was on next time I go into the game. It was 3rd round of first tour of KF.
It was wolf creek. Can't find what holes now, 😒. It Did happen again, but it's not the beads, it's the putting path only, it's misreading. I'm trying to use the path to learn how to read greens, guess that's a no go now lol.
Thanks... But I have to understand a very basic thing first, on the strike power bar, what is exactly that 3/4 threshold? Where do you want to be? I see the size of the power track adjusts with the distance of the target, so I am assuming the threshold mark is already adjusted to always show the optimal power... Is that it? We always want the power to be AT the line, never before or after, or are there exceptions? Thanks!!
Seriously tho like why even make this video if you use all the indicators lmao. Like what does the box below your clubs mean before you approach the ball no one ever talks about it smh
I don't look at putting as being a 'die putter' or a 'power putter,' but if it helps some people to think about it like that, just know that die putting will only work on flat putts and downhill putts. You will not make very many putts trying to 'die' it uphill.
Hey great videos I have a question or two what are you playing the game on PS5 or PC or Xbox X I'm on PS5 but the other question when I'm on the main menu of the game I've noticed it doesn't have competitive mode is that something you earn or download what is its purpose I've noticed every other video I watch there game has it but my game does not please let me know thanks keep up the great videos
I’m confused on what you are using to decide where the break is. What on the grid exactly should I be looking for? I’m trying to putt with the “power” method. Thanks.
My problem is that blue line indicator in tournaments shows a deviation from the arrow, i am assuming its because of wind. I move the arrow to adjust the blue line and the damn ball never goes to where the blue line meets the green it goes way right or left I hate this game.
I don't really understand how you're calculating distance. Is it halfway to the cup or halfway to your aim point? Sometimes I can't tell whether you're counting boxes for the break or for elevation. I've heard that a more simple rule of thumb is one foot per inch of elevation. So if it's 35 feet to the cup, 2 feet up, I just aim at 35-24=11 feet. Maybe add a few for good measure.
What colors are you talking about ? I see white grid/beads and a green green…i need a way to read the green with no grid …i basically birdie or eagle everything with beads …so i turned off beads .now i only double the pros score +/-, but still way to easy ..i turn off grid and cant see any break unless its obvious .. so now i toggle between grid no beads and no grid depending on how far ahead iam …for awhile i played with beads / grid on and everything else set to hardest possible settings and still figured it out but got frustrated on inconsistency off swings tee to green… was hoping this was gonna be a tutorial showing g me something i missed about a no grid read 😜🤦🏼♂️…lol guess im gonna play second season on hard settings and grids/ beads on 🤷🏼♂️
best putting guide! I just started to play this game and this was super helpful. I already did pretty good with "feeling it" but this made my putting even better. Thank you very much 🙂
Yes. For putting I use the 3-click. It levels the playing field for me a little. Although still not that easy, it does eliminate the nervous slip of the thumb on the stick. lol. So it just comes down to your setup. I'm getting a lot better though with the analog stick, so I am going to keep using it for everything else but the putting. The pulling back and pushing forward of the analog stick mimics the actual swing of a golf club way better then clicking on a couple of squares on a circle. But thought I would try the 3-click on the greens, because putting is where my game tends to go south sometimes.
I don't understand your downhill example at 9:35. You come back half way from the 10ft to 5ft, ok. Got that. But then you move left a certain amount. Where does that amount come from? You could have moved way more left, or less left. What makes you stop at that point?
So I aim at the peak of the break. So the top of the break where it starts moving in the opposite direction. This usually occurs halfway to the putt or wherever the beads are moving the fastest
I hate how much my 4 and 3 irons roll on a par 3 shot. When I play in real life, my irons stick the greens. Never have I seen that much roll in real life lolol
@JonathanAWrites First off not crap, here to help you. Second there is blue and white on the grid. Purple and reds are more extreme. Are you putting with grid lines or no?
This is hands down the worst golf game I’ve ever played. Getting in the green is damn near impossible with know upgrades. I put a backspin it bounces forward. I get the ball on the green it rolls off the green. It’s literally coded to troll people no wonder this game is 10 dollars right now on ps store. One of the worst games in general I’ve ever played I keep giving this game a shot and it’s damn near unplayable.

Great help, putting is the worst part of my game. Thanks!
Great videos, thanks for taking the time to make these and help the rest of us., much appreciated.
Hardest part of the game. Needs a practice putting green and a driving range. Hate bouncing around from tutorial to tutorial.
Yeah like a simple practice mode like in other games.
I had a reverse path earlier today, about 14 holes into round. showed it breaking right(Path) and beads but broke left. then a couple holes later had a putt path that had a shallow curve but about 6 inchs from cup it took a 90 degree angle to the left, was crazy. I had the same bizarre 90 degree change.Must be a bug..
Bro I stg the putt lines the death of me I jus started playing and I swear they just lie to me WHILE IM ON TOUR

Very helpful. Was missing a lot of 5 footers, dieing those. Powering now.
Offtopic, what was the sideways wind conversion?
Haven't done that yet
They need the OG putting system, use to be a caddys tip giving you a rough aim, I.e 3ft forward 4inch left
100% this used to be like on TW 2004 was brilliant
Your Character looks like Matthew McConaughey and you look like Tom Brady, thanks for all the great tips! My game has improved!
So, if a dye putter 1. find the peak, 2. find fastest moving part of green based on direction of beads. 3. Send it.
Yup. Or the hallway point if it is only breaking in one direction.
Thank you
Your green grids are a lot smaller than mine, mine are 6 feet.
Pretty much the only thing I’m not good at this game now is when to use fade, draw or when to do low or high shots when using wedges or irons.
My next priority. Might take a bit
@@Ma_Kachada awesome!
Thanks for this video
I need tips on how to read the green without the beads
Seriously tho like why even make this video if you use all the indicators lmao. Like what does the box below your clubs mean before you approach the ball no one ever talks about it smh
I use the rule if its up or down an inch move it 1 foot. Works pretty well for me
Can you do a guide for on the green challenge 6. I can't do it 😢

How are you resetting the shots so quick
I’m confused on what you are using to decide where the break is. What on the grid exactly should I be looking for? I’m trying to putt with the “power” method. Thanks.
I am using the moving beads. Also the blue or purple colors to determine severity of the break
Thx a bunch

Glad im colorblind and cant see any of the colors
Help an old man out. Is there am arcade setting for PGA Tour Masters?
By pga tour masters do you mean this game or a specific mode? This game does have an arcade mode with the ability to spin ball mid flight
Does anyone know how to consistently make S curve putts?
how come the clubs go different distances on different courses
The game has built in mechanics based on wind and ground types. Hard grounds like Europe will roll out more than softer florida conditions
I’m
So confused … I don’t see any colors?!?!

I hate the putting in this game!
They fixed hitting the no hitting it over the hole lol
I miss the ask caddie setting😂
Gary Player once said, "The more I practice, the luckier I get."
So it just looks like no one can predict consistently, thought it might just be me. Within 5 feet that’s when I add more power
best putting guide!

I have hit and bounced out of a hole ...the roll mechanics are horrible
Me, color blind as fuck. Arcade mode it is.
It’s a terrible game, cynical and lazy, you have to play the computer not the course.
Is it me or does NO ONE else see this color crap he’s talking about?
@JonathanAWrites First off not crap, here to help you. Second there is blue and white on the grid. Purple and reds are more extreme. Are you putting with grid lines or no?

Sounds like you are just mad because you suck at it. It’s a solid game. Practice and get better. Quit crying.
How come these tutorials nobody can give a definite answer to "how long is a long putt" that's all the fuck we want to know
