      Not possible. The golfer has to be able to figure out how to move naturally to a degree. If they can't do that no amount of instruction will bring their cap down

    This has been me. I love playing my irons but absolutely dread grabbing a driver. I often think if I could just get off the tee box I would be fine. I know that 95% of my problem is with setup and coming in too steep like an iron. I worked on irons for so long that I’ve neglected the driver, but I’m determined to work it out and I think this video is going to help me tremendously

    This was such a nice, simple tutorial. The weight distribution + the handle placement on the 8i was really a lightbulb-moment for me. Thank you so much! How does the handle placement change when you're going through the different irons up towards 4i? I guess you'd want to do much of the same, and when it comes to woods you'd swing a bit 'flatter'?

    Hey grant I'm having trouble with my hands on the club...for instance one day it feels great and another day my hands are all wrong and I mess up terribly!! Can u do a video on ur hands and where they should be on an iron and driver like for instance the thumbs and how being on one side or the other might affect it! I've learned alot from yours and trotties videos and they've took me down to a 10 handicap where I was at a 20 plus before all the videos I've watched between the 2 or u! Thanks and hope to see one soon cause I need it!

  • @travisbelleville7064
    @travisbelleville7064 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Would love to see this style of video with a 20 handicapper and a full 30 min of really working driver, hybrid, 7 iron, pw. Then check up on him a month or two later and see if he's retained most of that, if his handicap has gotten better, and continue one more set of lessons to really drive it in. It would be great to see what an average golfer can achieve with this level of knowledge 1 on 1 and it relates to probably 90% of your viewership!
    P.S. - If you do this around Tucson, AZ let me know! I run between a 14 and 18 handicap and consistently have to watch videos, do drills, and put in lots of range work when my iron or driver swing gets off.

    Knowing the differences in swings is what separates a decent golfer and a hacker. When I first started golf I bought a driver and went to the driving range and got decent with the driver, then I got irons and I was horrible, but I practiced with the irons and got decent with them too, I practiced so much with the irons that I forgot some of the things about driving, but I quickly relearned.

  • @Chris_Traynor
    @Chris_Traynor 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

    The only thing I would warn against is thinking of this flatter swing from through the takeaway and backswing can cause a whole host of issues that are hard to correct if you interpret that baseballswing as whipping club and shaft in and around your body. You can have an almost perfect swing but momentum will kick the club over whether you like it or not from there. The key for me is to have this as how you want to come in to the ball after transition.

    I have been battling issues with my iron swing. I like to draw the ball with my driver, most other clubs I like to try to high straight shots or baby draws, but I have been fading my irons. I hardly ever fade my driver, 3 wood, or 2 hybrid.

  • @atamagashock
