      Thank you so much for this. I have been transferring my heel/toe on the 3 to the body my entire life and teach it. This is better but it will take time getting used to.

    Tony, thanks for the clarification. In prior videos I missed the nuance between turning the lead foot with the left hook to the head versus leaving the foot planted for left hook to the body. Thanks and keep these coming.

The hook to the body is one of my great favorites too; and with the technique of disguising the shoot, i.e. not slipping first, it is very effective.     Slip front left hook is the horniest counter in boxing. It's peak Cus D'Amato peak-a-boo and it's an art form. Love this punch

    I have entered into the ultra white collar boxing event and have never boxed before, not that I have never watched it or have never had a fight b4 so I know a little bit. I have watched a few people that try and coach online and I got to say I can’t stop watching your vids you explain things so good get straight to the point no messing . Love it !!!!

    - Liver hook by framing with the right hand
    - Liver Hook by jabing/punching upstairs and then ... booom!

    Great advice Tony. Your videos are my favorite coaching tool to teach my daughter boxing skills. Do you have advice teaching/coaching others? Big proponent of building the foundational skills. Exercises that emulator boxing movement. Also, I'd like to see more videos, you breaking down pro fights demonstration of boxing strategy. Keep up the great work.

    I'm really enjoying your content, Tony!. I've been watching loads of your videos picking up bits and pieces to bring to my own game. This one in particular about developing that powerful hook to the body is what I want to work on. The only issue is that I often jar my thumb area. I'm not even sure how this is happening, most likely I'm not hitting the bag flush and maybe my wrist is crooked when landing it, but it doesn't happen to my right hooks, and so it's a major confidence issue I have now using my left hand.

    May combo to for LH to the body is 6-LH or Overhand Right-Left uppercut then LH to the body. It's very effective.

    Hi Tony - Any advice for infighting against larger sparring partners. My coach cuts the ring into quadrants to have multiple people spar at once and I can't stay outside their range easily.

    Tony , you are master boxer and coach I have been boxer from 1962 to today at 75. I still train .
    I don’t watch boxing anymore because the boxers are so inept. I believe that it is they haven’t been properly schooled in the basics. If you were training them, they would know how to fight .

    If I throw a left hook to the body then head Tony, do I move my foot between each punch, or pivot once and throw both? Love your videos mate. I box once a week at Ryan Rhodes gym, and practice every other day at my heavy bag at home.

    I am a south paw so my left hand is my power so it feels natural to deliver body shots to my opponents right side (liver strike).

    Would you do videos based on boxing recovery videos? Example, hurt your wrist or ankles so do exercises to recover those sore joints or ligaments. Thought that might be a good idea for those who need extra recovery from their boxing training or exercise

      Right hooks don’t land to the liver cause it’s on the other side of the body

      If you're a southpaw that means your rear lands on the liver and not your lead. Your opponent's liver doesn't automatically switch to the opposite side when you're a southpaw
