I now restarted my martial arts practice and started soccer at this age and i'm better then i was at my 30+.. Contrary to popular belief your age actually does NOT define your fitness nor your potential. Your body mind connection, your inner self and most importantly your personal ability to recover and right nutrition/sleep /stress free lifestyle is what gives you longevity in boxing or anything else that you practice. @@Tony_Jeffries Coach Tony! It made my day today when I saw you respond to this! This course is great! I’ve been taking it slow, I spent a couple weeks doing the warm up agility ladder drills before moving onto the boxing drills on ladder( I still do 5 min on agility ladder warm up drills after my initial warm up, then I do 5-10 min of the boxing drills on ladder, then 10 min jump rope) now that I’ve gotten comfortable moving and punching AND it looks smooth on my training videos. I’m finally moving onto the tennis ball drills. I’m really taking this seriously. I appreciate you dedicating your life to boxing, then sharing that knowledge with me and so many others. I sincerely thank you! It means a lot! I wish you the best in your training as well. I know you’re doing Ju Jitsu now. If you got any competitions coming up I’m rooting for you man! 👍Let’s go! 🥊🥊
Brilliant.came at a good time when working to build myself back from a low point. Proper inspired, helped focus on basic structure I needed. Gonna go deeper on both channels! Excellent stuff sir, cheers ✌❣🏴✊

@ thank you I appreciate it got my next fight on the 20th Feb Can you please make a video with weigh cut and weight management for amateur boxing please I think my downfall was I lost 4KG of water weight in 2 days and made me feel fatigued
I'm from India too, & in my city at least, combat sports are gaining popularity. Most gyms offer training in boxing & kickboxing, in addition to weight training.
Could you do a breakdown of MMA Fighter Ilia Topuria... There r a lot of MMA analysts covering his style but I don't was curious abt getting to know a Boxer's take on his boxing particularly.. 🥊🥊
some people don’t do roadwork, especially in amateurs, however you will have to do a lot more bagwork or skipping etc, and you will have to know that your opponent done more roadwork then you have, which could mess with you mentally.
Your knowledge about your craft is so commendable,, very useful,, But can you make it short and direct to the point, so that the people who dont have much time to spare can benefit as well,, than you
I was a shit boxer lol. But I had great conditioning. However, I found a lot of stuff traditional trainers did a bit questionable. I've trained people who've come from other gyms who are training for a three, two minute round fight. Before coming to me they've been doing 45 minute runs and other low intensity stuff. Crazy. And I've watched loads of blue collar fights where guys are blowing out theor arse within 60 seconds of the fights. But the guys I trained I'd have them mimicking what they were actually training to do but beyond this, a bit like Tony says. So instead of the two minute rounds I'd do three. And instead of three rounds I'd do five. I might not be the most technically gifted trainer but you can brush up on your technique elsewhere lol. But I'd make sure you could fight non stop for three minutes for five rounds, so when you found yourself only needing to do it for two minutes for threw rounds it was a peice of cake.
I don't have facebook but i want to face time with you and show you my current boxing skills I just started boxing 4d ago so i am not sure if i am doing it right
My biggest problem is that during sparring, my breathing gets messed up when I try to absorb punches. It’s kinda like I automatically start to tighten up and hold my breath. I’ve been training calisthenics for years and boxing for like 4 months now and my stamina during training sessions is even better than others’ since I’m used to this type of HIIT workout style. Yet, it blows my mind and kind of frustrates me, that I get exhausted sooo quickly when it comes to sparring… Does anyone have some advice ??
Do hill sprints until you puke, every day. Wear weighted gloves. Exhale on every punch. Try to hold the center of the ring as much as possible, as you move less when you do that.
Steroids peptides astma drugs and epo…is the name of the game ..all this “ hard work” is bullshit…( everybody works hard..) all the nonsense Tony is spewing here..he doesn't know shit about physiology or endurance training..proves that even his slightly better than average results were mainly based on doping.
What if you are not fit enough to do the workout? Do you build it up to the recommended rounds and time etc? It seems pretty advanced if you are a beginner
Of course. As always, if it's new to u, u start from small amount and intensity. U can change time of the round and break, according to your specific sport and your individual level

Exhale on every punch. Every time. The exhale forces you to take air in. Do it until you no longer think about it.

How different is the american boxing style vs the british?
You've got HUGE shoulders from boxing! Arms not nearly as developed, so it's clear you use your shoulders a lot.
