For those of you struggling, while holding ZL, then L and left joy stick (crouch) together. Then you move left joystick to the left plus jump (X) and that should start you the glitch.
The paraglider glitch will resolve if you return to the shrine, fall into the void, and leave the shrine. No need to close the game out

I just teleported to a
tower and it resolved itself!
U can also just examine the apparatus and then leave it normaly
It’s just like IST, but your transferring hearts instead of inventory slots

I know like thousands of people have already said it, and I'm just a drop in the bucket at this late point in the game, but I felt I had to speak up because I literally could not have found a more useful zelda content creator than you. I saw a different tutorial that looks easier.
1: Sell however many Heart/Stamina you want to duplicate
2: Save
3: Buy all Heart/Stamina back
4: Do the apparatus storage part
5: Load save
6: You will have the heart/stamina and so will the statue.
Yours seemed a little different, because you went to the shrine twice. That’s not really necessary, but I guess it’s just based on how people prefer to do it!

@Reborn you can also get all the key items permanetly, including 999 koroks, spirit orbs and emblems with ist now.

Dude, I am so glad I found this out. My younger self would have scoffed at the idea of this level of fudgery, (likely would have done it at least a few times still...) but I'm old and too impatient to game like I used to. This has given me so much more confidence to take this game head on! I mean, it's hard as F*** even with this glitch!

I got a little greedy a couple times and wound up losing all the vessels I had built up, so I think a solid tip to people would be to do ONLY hearts or ONLY stamina at one time, and after 3 rounds of loading back to the stone, save your progress by doing a pause screen save then back out to title screen, then home menu and close out the software. That will completely close the loop on this glitch.

Late August 2023 and I can confirm this is still working on the latest release. The part I got hung up on is when you take the photo you need to be in front of the pedestal where it's asking you to examine. Taking the photo tricks the apparatus into thinking you're interacting with it. Thanks for the walkthrough!

This isn’t working for me have they patched it? everything works besides when I go to save the game and exit then when I bring the game back up it starts me back with none of the things I got doing this glitch help please?

it didn't work at all for me I did everything exactly as he said and as soon as I left the game and logged back in it reset my hearts back to normal

This really helped me on my play through! I was gonna fight a Lynel for the Zora quest! Then a guardian! Thank you! I now have max hearts for Master Sword and stamina for running and sniping mid-air! One final thanks!

For some reason whenever I do it, I just keep losing hearts and not get them back. Does anyone know why this keeps happening?

Instructions at @3:47 is confusing. So its just hold ZL then while holding ZL Press L and Left Button at the same time?

For those strugling with the camera and ZL combination, just do this: Make Sure you have any weapon not in link's hands, have the the camera run ready and the shield ready too. Then A) Hold ZL and then, B) Press at the same time L and the left joystick (push in) { You will hunch in camera mode }, C) Push in again left joystick & you will be able to walk , yet you are still in camera mode. Do as instructed with the rest of the process. Is easier, I just maxed out my hearts and stamina (As JAN/2023)

I did the first part of the glitch so I went back to the shrine again and it won't let me glitch the camera no matter how much I try I keep backing out of the camera when I squat.

Hey, I've been trying this on my yuzu emulator and every time i view the memory, it puts me back to the puzzle. Does this only work on the switch?
Tried everything and the glitch works, but its not working when I save, exit the game, travel, etc. Keeps reverting back to my original amount?

So I did this with 6 total essences, and it was working well until I tried to get both back but it would take away either stamina or hearts and I would have to do it again.
I've tried this like 4 times now. Everything works up to the "load the save file"-part. I don't load an autosave file but i don't get the extra heart back :/ Any ideas why?

Hey I have an issue I can’t stay in the crouch cam for more than 5 frames
Just went fron 5 hearts and 3 extra Stamina, to maxed out both, within 20 minutes! Really easy to do, rather foolproof, and if you somehow messed it up, just start over. It's really not that hard to do. Bonus, you can take really cool pictures of your weapons for in your Compendium this way as well!
No way, no way, no way!! It still works! So fun. I’ve played the game all the way through, but this was a fun way to buff up during another play through!

The glitch doesn’t seem to work do I save after I give the heart or before I give the heart
okay so when I load into the save its like it took my stamina vessel right, and then the statue says I dont have have a stamina vessel I gave over to him! I saved before and I had my stamina vessel, I go into the save I had and the stamina vessel is gone, and the statue says he doesnt have anything, the only way to fix this is by going back into that same save. But once again he says he has nothing, at least its fixed.
I seem to do it right. When I press view memory nothing happen. But when I press B to back. It goes in to control the ball only. I can not move Link. Any suggestion?
It is because I use version base 1.0.0. Update to 1.6.0 and I can do the glitch

The reason the glitch messes up is because of a registration issue. When you say have 27 to get and you max either stamina or health in the first part. When you go to “pick them up again” place one back from the bar you just maxed. It registers to the game that you have such bar. Then when you do the second part you keep the max bar you first made and then can max out your next one. Just place one back before you save . Then save an quit. All Gucci in the hoochi
Think of it as the game catching you with somthing you didn’t have so you reinforce that you did buy placing one back. Anytime you move areas you loses hearts. This is why

This is also a pretty decent way to farm rupees too. You just have to get to where you want to be with ur essences then go thru the apparatus and load one more time then NOT buy back ur essences. If you need a quick 700$ this is the quickest/easiest way I've found so far...

I think shore the game up update and everything just gets added to your file. You just have to find them
Am I doing something wrong? When I close app I have 30 hearts and max stamina but when I load back in I only have 3 hearts but still have max stamina.

Hi,I found sometimes,if you do the glitch wrong sometimes your screen will freeze. To fix this just go to home click any other game then go back to BOTW.
Hey I wasn’t running a whistling after the first time but it didn’t work at all till I stood up after the selfie. I couldn’t figure that out. Push the left stick in to stand up and then go forwards.

Ok as easy as this glitch seems, I need help. I do everything but after I press the memory, which doesn't play how it's supposed to. I go out to check the glitch and it puts me into the mini game anyways. I don't understand how everything is fine performing the glitch except that last bit. Idk why it's not working for me.
