The post-apocalyptic workd he created made no sense - the streets clean and quiet, the economy destroyed yet some how people are thriving and surviving... Even his relationship with Batman was so weak, nothing to play off of and no deep personal gripes like with the Joker. The Dark Knight hit home. The Joker played on basic human emotion and ideals. And when you heard his plan it hit you personally. Like damn, and that was terrifying. But Banes was sooo far out there that I found myself not invested and just waiting for it to pass.
Easy. Bowser and the Koopa Army have kidnapped Princess Peach for political reasons, they want to force her to submit and give them the Mushroom Kingdom for whatever reason. Mario and Luigi, two plumbers, witnessed this happen, as they were doing an inspection on the Castle. The royal Parliament is refusing to make this public, the people of the kingdom cannot think they are weak. The army being deployed will cause fear. So they decide to try and send the two citizens that know, if they die, the secret of Peach's kidnap dies with them. The rest is more or less hero's journey, Mario is arrogant and cocky, Luigi is timid and humble. The two catch up with Bowser in a nearby castle, and he is quick to defeat them, as the two begin arguing while fighting Bowser. Bowser dips with Peach, and then sends two world class assassins after them: Wario and Waluigi. These two work great together, being the foil for the dysfunctional Mario and Luigi. So while journeying to Koopa's Castle, the brothers grow in response to the defeat from the close brothers. They defeat Wario and Waluigi outside of Koopa's Castle, and take the castle on, working together, eventually conquering Bowser by destroying the bridge he's on and dropping him into the lava below. They return, and at the end of the credits, you see Wario and Waluigi dragging the skeletal body of Bowser out of the lava, complaining about how Koopa's kid and the space man are so insistent on getting a bunch of bones. The camera turns, and you see a pair of metal boots, to be revealed as Wolf, kickstarting the Nintendo cinematic universe.

First off, they should've made sure the viewers could tell the difference between "Vs" and "V" The movie was FAR from perfect, but the criticism that Batman and Superman barely fought was a stupid ass criticism. It's Batman V superman, ya know, like a court case. Superman was being tried the whole movie by the government, the people, Batman, Lex Jr, and himself. Secondly, shoot everyone who was hired to edit the movie in the head. Smoother transitions between scenes instead of jumping from place to place. Batman sees Superman and Zod tear apart the city. Batman doesn't hate Superman for tearing apart the city and accidentally killing innocents, he hates how he didn't help, how he COULDN'T help. How unmatched he was and could've been if he tried anything at all. Bruce and Clark meet eachother at Lex Luthors gala where Bruce is suspicious of Clark, because of ALL people who can tell Clark Kent is Superman(but wears glasses)it's Bruce Wayne, so Bruce is suspicious, but isn't sure. Bruce, instead of going mad with rage, he goes mad with the feeling of...weakness. So he HAS to know who Superman is. (All the while, Superman is constantly being questioned by those around him, and the media stuff in the film is still happening.) So Batman jumps the bay, and starts taking down criminals in Metropolis(to try and get Superman's attention)eventually he does, and Superman and Batman have a heated conversation where then Superman pushes Batman back, and subtly threatens him. "I'm not your enemy Batman, but if you push me, I'll have to defend myself...Bruce." That's right, Superman XRays his mask LIKE IN THE ANIMATED SHOW, where then Superman flies away, leaving Bruce there. Superman heads back to his home, and gets in his Clark attire where, that's right, a BatBug Batman placed on him without knowing and Superman looks around, only to see Batman staring into his window(Once again, like in the show) Batman and Superman still end up fighting, but Batman never tries to kill him, in fact, he uses the stolen Kryptonite to threaten Superman RIGHT back(Like Supes did to Batman earlier) "I won't hurt an innocent person, but you're not a person, are you, Clark?" (This is when the audience goes OOOHHHH SHIT BOIIII) they talk a bit more and come to an agreement to stay on their own sides of the bay. Lex Luthor still kidnaps Clarks mom, and orders Superman to kill Batman or else, but what he doesn't know is that Batman and Superman have an unstable truce, so Superman presses on the Batbug (to send audio back to Batman) Bruce hears Lex Jr threatening Superman with the death of his mo, Martha. Now, Bruce doesn't go "WHOA! MARTHA!!! WOW!!! TWINNING!!" It's right then and right there that Bruce knows that just because Clarks an alien, it doesn't make him any less human on a spiritual level, Superman trusted this information with Batman and Batman knows what he must do. Warehouse scene happens, and Batman saves Martha Kent. Lex radios in to KGB to ask how things are, and Batman's on the other line going "next time you threaten an alien, search him first" then Lex goes OH FUCK, heads inside Zods wrecked ship, and creates Doomsday. Superman tries radioing Batman again, but can't for some reason, then overhead, Batman flies down on his ship, and Martha and superman hug it out, lightning strikes and Doomsday is released, Martha boards the ship, where Alfred flies it back to Kent farm, and Batman and Superman take on Doomsday. I already wrote a lot so I'm gonna end that right here I'm missing details, but whatever Superman wouldn't die in this ending, because that was stupid as fuck. "Oh no supermans dead...he'll be back though, obviously"
all that was missing was John cena shows up but bane snaps his neck. Roman reigns tries to sneak behind but too many boos gives him away. so bane his him with a chair but reigns doesn't sell so bane snaps his neck. that gives Batman the opportunity he needs and wins. yay!
Wouldn't it have been cool if commissioner Gordon had said in that scene 'bring me everyone' and the officer says 'what do you mean, everyone?' and then he bellows 'EVERYONE' - you know, because he's Gary Oldman...

Another thing to fix this movie: Make Bane Latino, or at least Middle Eastern. Either of those make more sense than Tom Hardy, as much as I love the guy. Latino Bane: He was Latino in the fucking comics. Plus, they could've worked in a lot of Latin American folklore into his character, explaining why he hates Batman so much without having to rely on the League of Shadows. They could've made him a completely new villain, with completely new motivations. Middle Eastern Bane: His prison in the movie was in the Middle East. Why the hell would a relatively ordinary white man be there? The fact that he was white in the movie made him stick out like a sore thumb. It would also smoothen his link to Ra's al Ghul, if you want to keep the League of Shadows link, since he's (supposed to be) Middle Eastern as well. Side Note: Also, make the al Ghuls Middle Eastern. There is absolutely no reason for Ra's and Talia to be white, other than the fact that Chris Nolan wants his friends in the movie.

So far my only primary concern is that Bruce and Alfred are at the point where they'd say they're dead to each other. I can see Bruce growing distant, but Alfred would never let it get that far, at least on his end. He always has a very important place in his heart set aside for Bruce.

This was fun to listen to. If I were "writing" this script with you, here would be my suggestions: Keep the ending from the real film. Batman survives the building collapse, is later witnessed in Florence with Selina Kyle (who is wearing the Martha Waye pearl necklace just like in the real film) Alfred notices the pearl necklace is missing (also something clearly stated in the real movie) and is implied that he uses a tracking device to pinpoint their location (again, clearly stated in the real movie). Realistically, there's no way they would kill Batman off or leave his death ambiguous. I thought that Nolan's ending for Bruce and Selina was perfection. I also would've kept Talia Al Ghul in the story. She could've existed in the film very harmoniously and interestingly if there was less of a twist emphasis on her character: The murdered Ra's Al Ghul is one of the most important characters in the trilogy, of course I want to see his daughter's character come to fruition in the story! I was curious about her presence in the series all the way back in '05 when Ducard lightly mentioned her in 'Begins'. Don't just cut her out of the story. She has one of the most fascinating relationships with Bruce Wayne in his history. I would argue that Talia Al Ghul deserves a place in the trilogy even more so than Bane. In your version, I'm imagining Talia as a fellow prisoner to Bruce in the Gotham catacombs. Maybe Bane hates her in this version but keeps her alive as a prisoner out of respect for Ra's. In the catacombs, Talia and Bruce could develop their relationship and romance for a large portion of the film. I would still like to see her ultimately betray him, though. Maybe it's Talia who kidnaps Catwoman when she is exiting the catacombs in the third act.This would make for an epic fight between Catwoman and Talia Al Ghul.
one of your problems with the dark knight rises is that batman stops being batman for 8 years because Gotham needs him as stated at the end of the The Dark Knight. BUT THEN you contradict yourself by starting your version with batman in africa and you say he's barely been going back to gotham. lol other than that, i really do like your version better. i'm looking forward to part 2.
+Justin McNeil Sporadic appearances over 8 years are still significantly more than 0 appearances over 8 years. The point is that he doesn't stop being Batman, but at the same time he becomes a worse batman. So it actually does add to the story, because not only does he not show up regularly, at times he does he ends up being sloppy and making things more difficult for the police. That has significantly more narrative impact than him sitting around in his mansion doing nothing.
I'm not sure you understand who Batman is or what the story of The Dark Knight was, let alone The Dark Knight Rises. Let me just say, Batman quit because that was the only way he thought to end the escalation. He crossed the line, and it was allowed. It thus had to be disallowed to prevent another Joker. That might not be the best answer (hence, the entirety of TDKR) but, for the Bruce Wayne between TDK and TDKR, it made the most sense.

And seeming as your arc seems to be about batman realizing gotham will always need protecting makes complete story sense. keen for part 2
Why exactly is Batman hunting the league of shadows at the start? He thinks they're all dead in the Dark Knight. Wouldn't it make more sense if he was tracking some high level criminal that leads him to Bane if you want to make that connection? Otherwise there's literally no reason for him to be out of Gotham. Other than that I like it.
I was so happy with this movie because when they filmed the scenes at Wayne's manor it was filmed right where I live Nottinghamshire wallaton hall it was so awesome looking at them filming the movie.
I personally loved the third movie. It's there major plot holes, but I love the intricacy of Bane's plan. That being said, i think I would like your version even better. You're not completely changing everything (which I like), but rather fixing a few plot holes and making sense of some of the odd things included in the original movie.
LOVED your version, but personally, I would take out the whole being wreckless and angry thing, but instead let batman just be batman and still get injured like how any man would dressed as a bat fighting crime. Batman makes mistakes too. And some big fight scenes when batman looses, it could have been the reoccurring memory of Racheal or Harvey Dent. Resulting in him hesitating and getting his ass kicked.
If he gets so much hate by the police and having his guilt eat away at him, it would make him a much more angrier guy, having that new angle on Batman would make sense and it brings a humanistic version which is what Nolan was doing with the first 2. the dark knight trilogy is like the Spiderman trilogy, amazing first 2 and a half and half 3rd.
I like it, you're keeping the good plot points and fixing the details that got us cringing. I was afraid you'd rewrite from scratch some anti-dramatic bullshit like most videos of this kind of series do, but you're actually doing it pretty damn well.
Liked this just as much if not more than the wrestling should have booked series. You really hit a lot of details and focused on the little beats of the movie. MORE OF THESE PLEASE.
What I would do differently... A) In the (few, 2-3) years since TDK, Batman has still been in Gotham and references are made to him fighting The Penguin and The Riddler. B) Catwoman and Batman have a fight when they first meet (in costume) but Batman holds back, and Catwoman questions whether he can really do what's required to protect Gotham.

First off, they should've made sure the viewers could tell the difference between "Vs" and "V"
The movie was FAR from perfect, but the criticism that Batman and Superman barely fought was a stupid ass criticism. It's Batman V superman, ya know, like a court case. Superman was being tried the whole movie by the government, the people, Batman, Lex Jr, and himself.
Secondly, shoot everyone who was hired to edit the movie in the head.
Smoother transitions between scenes instead of jumping from place to place.
Batman sees Superman and Zod tear apart the city. Batman doesn't hate Superman for tearing apart the city and accidentally killing innocents, he hates how he didn't help, how he COULDN'T help. How unmatched he was and could've been if he tried anything at all.
Bruce and Clark meet eachother at Lex Luthors gala where Bruce is suspicious of Clark, because of ALL people who can tell Clark Kent is Superman(but wears glasses)it's Bruce Wayne, so Bruce is suspicious, but isn't sure. Bruce, instead of going mad with rage, he goes mad with the feeling of...weakness. So he HAS to know who Superman is. (All the while, Superman is constantly being questioned by those around him, and the media stuff in the film is still happening.)
So Batman jumps the bay, and starts taking down criminals in Metropolis(to try and get Superman's attention)eventually he does, and Superman and Batman have a heated conversation where then Superman pushes Batman back, and subtly threatens him. "I'm not your enemy Batman, but if you push me, I'll have to defend myself...Bruce." That's right, Superman XRays his mask LIKE IN THE ANIMATED SHOW, where then Superman flies away, leaving Bruce there. Superman heads back to his home, and gets in his Clark attire where, that's right, a BatBug Batman placed on him without knowing and Superman looks around, only to see Batman staring into his window(Once again, like in the show)
Batman and Superman still end up fighting, but Batman never tries to kill him, in fact, he uses the stolen Kryptonite to threaten Superman RIGHT back(Like Supes did to Batman earlier) "I won't hurt an innocent person, but you're not a person, are you, Clark?" (This is when the audience goes OOOHHHH SHIT BOIIII) they talk a bit more and come to an agreement to stay on their own sides of the bay.
Lex Luthor still kidnaps Clarks mom, and orders Superman to kill Batman or else, but what he doesn't know is that Batman and Superman have an unstable truce, so Superman presses on the Batbug (to send audio back to Batman) Bruce hears Lex Jr threatening Superman with the death of his mo, Martha. Now, Bruce doesn't go "WHOA! MARTHA!!! WOW!!! TWINNING!!" It's right then and right there that Bruce knows that just because Clarks an alien, it doesn't make him any less human on a spiritual level, Superman trusted this information with Batman and Batman knows what he must do. Warehouse scene happens, and Batman saves Martha Kent. Lex radios in to KGB to ask how things are, and Batman's on the other line going "next time you threaten an alien, search him first" then Lex goes OH FUCK, heads inside Zods wrecked ship, and creates Doomsday. Superman tries radioing Batman again, but can't for some reason, then overhead, Batman flies down on his ship, and Martha and superman hug it out, lightning strikes and Doomsday is released, Martha boards the ship, where Alfred flies it back to Kent farm, and Batman and Superman take on Doomsday.

Another thing to fix this movie:
Make Bane Latino, or at least Middle Eastern. Either of those make more sense than Tom Hardy, as much as I love the guy.
Latino Bane: He was Latino in the fucking comics. Plus, they could've worked in a lot of Latin American folklore into his character, explaining why he hates Batman so much without having to rely on the League of Shadows. They could've made him a completely new villain, with completely new motivations.
Middle Eastern Bane: His prison in the movie was in the Middle East. Why the hell would a relatively ordinary white man be there? The fact that he was white in the movie made him stick out like a sore thumb. It would also smoothen his link to Ra's al Ghul, if you want to keep the League of Shadows link, since he's (supposed to be) Middle Eastern as well.
Side Note: Also, make the al Ghuls Middle Eastern. There is absolutely no reason for Ra's and Talia to be white, other than the fact that Chris Nolan wants his friends in the movie.
That wouldn't work because all the SJWs would call the movie racist for having a Latino or Middle Eastern bad guy.

So far my only primary concern is that Bruce and Alfred are at the point where they'd say they're dead to each other. I can see Bruce growing distant, but Alfred would never let it get that far, at least on his end. He always has a very important place in his heart set aside for Bruce.

This was fun to listen to. If I were "writing" this script with you, here would be my suggestions:
Keep the ending from the real film. Batman survives the building collapse, is later witnessed in Florence with Selina Kyle (who is wearing the Martha Waye pearl necklace just like in the real film) Alfred notices the pearl necklace is missing (also something clearly stated in the real movie) and is implied that he uses a tracking device to pinpoint their location (again, clearly stated in the real movie). Realistically, there's no way they would kill Batman off or leave his death ambiguous. I thought that Nolan's ending for Bruce and Selina was perfection.
I also would've kept Talia Al Ghul in the story. She could've existed in the film very harmoniously and interestingly if there was less of a twist emphasis on her character:
The murdered Ra's Al Ghul is one of the most important characters in the trilogy, of course I want to see his daughter's character come to fruition in the story! I was curious about her presence in the series all the way back in '05 when Ducard lightly mentioned her in 'Begins'. Don't just cut her out of the story. She has one of the most fascinating relationships with Bruce Wayne in his history. I would argue that Talia Al Ghul deserves a place in the trilogy even more so than Bane.
In your version, I'm imagining Talia as a fellow prisoner to Bruce in the Gotham catacombs. Maybe Bane hates her in this version but keeps her alive as a prisoner out of respect for Ra's. In the catacombs, Talia and Bruce could develop their relationship and romance for a large portion of the film. I would still like to see her ultimately betray him, though. Maybe it's Talia who kidnaps Catwoman when she is exiting the catacombs in the third act.This would make for an epic fight between Catwoman and Talia Al Ghul.
one of your problems with the dark knight rises is that batman stops being batman for 8 years because Gotham needs him as stated at the end of the The Dark Knight. BUT THEN you contradict yourself by starting your version with batman in africa and you say he's barely been going back to gotham. lol
other than that, i really do like your version better. i'm looking forward to part 2.
+Justin McNeil Sporadic appearances over 8 years are still significantly more than 0 appearances over 8 years. The point is that he doesn't stop being Batman, but at the same time he becomes a worse batman. So it actually does add to the story, because not only does he not show up regularly, at times he does he ends up being sloppy and making things more difficult for the police. That has significantly more narrative impact than him sitting around in his mansion doing nothing.

I'm not sure you understand who Batman is or what the story of The Dark Knight was, let alone The Dark Knight Rises.
Let me just say, Batman quit because that was the only way he thought to end the escalation. He crossed the line, and it was allowed. It thus had to be disallowed to prevent another Joker. That might not be the best answer (hence, the entirety of TDKR) but, for the Bruce Wayne between TDK and TDKR, it made the most sense.

And seeming as your arc seems to be about batman realizing gotham will always need protecting makes complete story sense. keen for part 2

Why exactly is Batman hunting the league of shadows at the start? He thinks they're all dead in the Dark Knight. Wouldn't it make more sense if he was tracking some high level criminal that leads him to Bane if you want to make that connection? Otherwise there's literally no reason for him to be out of Gotham. Other than that I like it.

I personally loved the third movie. It's there major plot holes, but I love the intricacy of Bane's plan. That being said, i think I would like your version even better. You're not completely changing everything (which I like), but rather fixing a few plot holes and making sense of some of the odd things included in the original movie.

LOVED your version, but personally, I would take out the whole being wreckless and angry thing, but instead let batman just be batman and still get injured like how any man would dressed as a bat fighting crime. Batman makes mistakes too. And some big fight scenes when batman looses, it could have been the reoccurring memory of Racheal or Harvey Dent. Resulting in him hesitating and getting his ass kicked.
If he gets so much hate by the police and having his guilt eat away at him, it would make him a much more angrier guy, having that new angle on Batman would make sense and it brings a humanistic version which is what Nolan was doing with the first 2. the dark knight trilogy is like the Spiderman trilogy, amazing first 2 and a half and half 3rd.

What I would do differently...
A) In the (few, 2-3) years since TDK, Batman has still been in Gotham and references are made to him fighting The Penguin and The Riddler.
B) Catwoman and Batman have a fight when they first meet (in costume) but Batman holds back, and Catwoman questions whether he can really do what's required to protect Gotham.
