It's on my list. One for towing capacity because i own a light camper (3000 lbs) and the mpg seems good and cargo space And it's a toyota. So you know it's reliable
Huy Le i think it comes with it on the Entune Toyota app, but aftermarket remote starts are available at places like Best Buy. They have great reviews too 👍
Adventure Trim should come with more purpose oriented features (maybe like robust suspension system) than "luxury" gimmicks like leather wrapped steering wheel.
The forester doesn’t look like it has 8.7 inches of ground clearance...I was sitting next to one at the light (I have a rav 4 adventure) and was noticeably higher than the Subaru....Great video though....I just reviewed mine, feel free to checkout the video...
Great video! I like this trim and the color. cant wait to test drive these but I also want to take a look at the hybrid trim. I have been waiting for a review on this vehicle and you did it! Thanks bro! GREAT JOB! :-)
Are you guys aware that this dynamic torque vectoring system makes a very loud “clank, clank” when it disengages itself in normal and eco mode? If you own an adventure or limited model RAV (2019 model) you will hear this (as you brake and are coming to a stop at around 18-20 mph in a relatively quiet neighborhood or environment) if you roll down your windows (noise can’t be heard with windows up). I’m disappointed to say the least and really hope that Toyota will address this and find a fix.
Disappointed that he didn't mention the exterior grill difference between the adventure and regular models. Spent a while trying to figure out what this one was called. Looks significantly better than regular 2019 rav4
If I take my career and go traveling for a year or two, this is probably what I would trade my Mustang in for to haul my belongings from assignment to assignment.
Toyota is going to milk this new Rav4. Not only is it expensive, but adding extra amenities cost more. And with the Rav4 Trd coming out, I'm sure it's going to cost at least an extra $2500 for that model when it's pretty similar to the Adventure. But I will still buy it! 😂
@@tinhinnh totally agree! I'd like the trailhawk but Jeeps track record isnt that good. I rather not risk it and stick with something more reliable like this. And plus if someone's fancy enough, they could always raise the suspension but then again I dont think anyone would do that to a Rav4 lol.
Well my dad's subie is a 2015 Forester. And his cvt just went out at 62000 miles. And my dad baby's his car. He only drives 65 doesn't do more than 2000rpms drives it 5 miles a hour down a gravel road. And changes all fluid and does maintenance like a mad man. And his went out. I was also considering a subie but after that happened to my Pop it has really made the RAV4 adventure really appealing.
With the TRD Pro model already revealed and coming soon.. (CORRECTION: TRD Off-Road, not TRD Pro!!! -_-) ...I'm honestly confused at this point where that and the Adventure model slots in the RAV4 lineup right now. (hence that the new RAV4 and it's increased variety without exaggerating its capabilities that much really expands the RAV4's appeal, in a world where the segment consists of bland grocery-getting if otherwise competitive entries) Needless to say that I'm very impressed with the new RAV4, as with Toyota's also impressive latest products like the new Supra (already my next car), the new Avalon, the new Camry, and the new Corolla (sedan and hatch).
With the TRD Pro RAV4, think they should’ve upgraded the engine & added a Turbo or just given it the 3.5 V6. That definitely would’ve whetted my appetite for this SUV.
@@Kwaminho My thoughts exactly. I still miss the RAV4 with the V6... still remember how much of a little beast it was with that engine. Hence that it'll fit the TRD's supposed 'tough' persona so much more. (even compared to the Adventure) Throw in the new Avalon's (and Camry's as it's upgraded powertrain) V6 onto the new RAV4, and I'd love it even more so. (wouldn't even mind considering it too for that matter)
Looks like the people that designed the front are different than those who did the back. Back has some Aztek vibe to me. Lastly, hate fog lights that are designed for form over function. Good mall crawler, I'm sure it'll sell.
@@whiterockrunner, the lower they are the better, to actually ride "under" the fog. Ideally I guess they could go at the most bottom as they could on the bumper. When you have them up high, they basically are no better than headlights. Adding more light to the same spot isn't very helpful (try turning on your brights in fog). So, if you live anywhere out where it's dark and foggy.. you'd want them way down as low as they can go. 👍.
fuck Turdo, is just something more to break after 100K I will not buy againToyota has it right, pricey car yes but this will out last anything else out there for years in reliability...I have a 2014 forester turbo, will sell after I hit 100K when CVT and Turbo will fail soon after - no thanks
I have a 2017 Toyota RAV4 and I was looking forward for the new one but when I went to the dealer they look cheap cheap cheap cheap plastic cheap interior they just look horrible they look nothing like the look on the videos and photos
Awesome job Toyota! Thank you for keeping the powertrain simple!
Mitchell Parker true! In the long term you want a reliable, not overly complicated engine.
I saw one in the showroom while getting an oil change, it looked really nice in person.
Good job with this review! Thanks for touching on the entertainment sound! You have been the only one to do so!
best review, guess ill be here for awhile

For a rav4 over $30k I’m kinda disappointed that it doesn’t come with a leather wrapped steering wheel as standard
Adventure Trim should come with more purpose oriented features (maybe like robust suspension system) than "luxury" gimmicks like leather wrapped steering wheel.
kevin starski having better control with a thicker steering wheel is not a gimmick
Exactly plastic steering wheel !
Should come with the V6 engine
Z A86 yeah for the 5% of the time you need it while wasting gas the 95% of the time
Does XLE Premium come with auto-dimming rear view mirror standard? Or it needs the digital camera mirror package? Thanks!
Front gives me Land cruiser vibe

7:05 upside down license plate?
Have a 2010 RAV4 4cyl, plenty of power for me , it's not a racecar but it moves out
the 2019 has lot of safety features that the 2010 does not have. That alone puts it in a different league
My understanding is blind spot monitoring and rear traffic alert options are not standard
Standard on adventure trim. A little confusing I admit.
Wait ! You didnt try it on the snow !!!
Great review! Thanks
I like the color of this car. Lunar Rock color?
Correct 👍
I really like the redesign. Can’t wait for the RAV4 TRD. Just wish they had a turbo 4 option.
They finally got duel Exhaust
haha yes definitely looks better back there!
Awesome video
Thanks!
Asientos en piel. Pero el timón no es de piel????
why is the license plate up side down 🤔
because the magnet was on the top so there were no screws able to be used there and no where magnetic on the back of the Rav4 so I improvised haha
they should put this motor in the base Tacoma, the 2.7 has more grunt but gas mileage is horrible
Add any options and it gets expensive fast and no power passenger seat. And not friendly to tall or heavy set people.

Kendall Alston 8.6” of gc is better than most, I don’t know if they will make a kit for it but next best thing is swap better tires
I'll wait for the Rav4 TRD Pro.
They are basically the same, with some trim bits changed.
Russell C I didn't mean the TRD off road
Gold star review 👌
Thanks!
Rav4 or Forester or Outback? Friends, what is this better for you? :-) good luck!
Depends on your needs and if you enjoy driving or not. For me no cvts so subies are out.
